I recently went to Brewsky's as I was on the hunt for some good wings. Upon walking into the restaurant, I was surprised at how big big the restaurant was. I sat up at the bar and met a few of their serving staff and bartenders and each one warmly greeted me and promptly helped me. They had a great beer selection on tap and their wings were super good-shout out to the garlic parmesan and honey mustard wings. Bonus-this bar offers trivia on Wednesdays. read more

Six of us had lunch at Brewskys today-restaurant was at 70% full capacity on the bar side and eating area-the food and service was great-our server waited on us immediately and brought us our drinks right away, then he took our food order, and food was served hot and timely. Two of us had their famous phillys and rest had different types of hamburgers-happy with the price and service. Definitely will go again since, we were all from out of town and was concerned about arriving right at noon on a busy Sunday. read more

Just ate lunch at brewski's in Omaha and the food was fabulous. The service was excellent and atmosphere was clean. The bathrooms were super clean. I really enjoyed this experience. I think the Lincoln locations could learn a little bit from this. read more

What a great meal !! We decided to have our corned beef and cabbage out for lunch. The manager was very clear there could not be more than 10 in the restaurant including the workers so we sat down and had immediate attention getting our drinks and order. Food was hot and fresh and yummy. The corned beef was perfect with potatoes and carrots along with a slice of rye bread. The wings we better than I remember! Chargrilled buffalo and naked were super! The manager was very attentive and friendly. He went above and beyond to be sure everyone had what they wanted. The food was so good we grabbed an extra order of corned beef to go!!! So disappointed, went to Brewsky's on 153rd and Q Saturday night. Sat at a high top table under the big screen tv watching the Kentucky Derby straight out from end of bar and hall to restrooms. A wait staff person just stood at that end of the bar looking around but would not make eye contact. It was not busy and there were plenty of wait staff. Apparently, we were invisible. We sat there about 15 minutes no one came to bring us menus or acknowledge we were there. We walked out. We used to love this place, but highly doubt we will return. read more

Club sandwich wasn't too bad. They were out of turkey and happily substituted chicken. The sandwich was a little bit dry but again, they happily supplied mayo on the side for me. Fries were super hot and the bartender was extremely nice. Nice selection of beers which I didn't have but my dining partner did. Music was not to my liking and a bit loud for me. I don't think rap is typical for a sports bar but I have been known to be wrong a time or two. read more

We were looking for a quick place to eat before an event. Went here because we had a free entree through Pinpoint. Unbeknownst to me, they no longer have their shrimp basket anymore :-(. So I ended up getting the Grilled cheese & Mac and cheese of the Kids & Seniors menu. I figured that I qualified for either one. The grilled cheese was good, but uninspired. We love coming on Wednesdays for Trivia and Beer Specials. Like so many other places, they have discontinued their wing special but that is ok. Times are tough. Our favorite server is Emily! She does such an awesome job with the trivia crowd which is hard work because they all show up at the same time. The trivia host is one of the best in town. Many great things on the menu but one of my favorites is the Totchos! They are amazing. Get out and enjoy some great tv's and awesome food and service! read more

Great TV setup to come and watch all the football you want. They provide a map of what game is on what tv on Sunday's. Excellent char grilled wings. I think the best around. Brewsky's is a favorite for my wife and me, not least because it's very convenient for where we live. More important, though, is the great sports bar atmosphere it has. When there's a game we want to see that's not being carried on a network we have at home, Brewsky's is where we'll catch it. There are literally dozens of screens on three walls and a few hanging in the middle, so whichever of the tables, booths, or bar stools you're at will have a good view of the event you want to see. The menu is classic and varied. They make great burgers, you can go healthy with one of their specialty salads, or enjoy some solid pub fare; I recommend the fish and chips. We ordered takeout and we're pleasantly surprised how good it was. Both of us ordered burgers. They were very good - the meat was tender, cooked to perfection, packaged well in the takeout container and nothing was wet from the condiments. Onion rings were ok, fries were good. Went for 1st time. The service was pretty good but that was about it. Ordered a patty melt. Burger was burnt and there were no grilled onions. French fries. were cold. Went for dinner with my family. Walked in and the place was pretty much empty. Maybe three other tables max. We looked around and saw several dirty tables and had to pick one of the cleanest we could find. Our waiter came over to drop the menus and get our drink orders. We received our drinks promptly and ordered our meal. While waiting for our meal, we had finished our drinks and sat for over 10 minutes with no service. One of us got up with the cups to hunt down someone who could refill them. The staff was goofing around and not paying attention towards the far end of the restaurant away from the patrons. Soon enough our food came. Chicken tenders and tots turned out as ordered. No complaints Grilled chicken salad was great Mac n cheese burger was sadly not as exciting as the picture. Try Mac n no cheese. It was like bland noodles on a burger. A five year old could do better with kraft box then what came on the burger. Our waiter remained hard to find. We eventually got our bill and paid. He brought back a receipt and no pen. The receipt we got didn't even have lines to fill out a tip and total not to mention it's hard to do without a pen anyway. We scrounge together a tip with the little cash/coins we had and left. We come at least 2-3 times s month and the service keeps getting worse. Very sad. read more

Imagine a large, cavernous sports bar with about 50 TVs, so-so booths and tables (nothing fancy) tons of beer, and mediocre food. That is Brewsky's. The spousal unit, offspring, and I went there for burgers and went away largely unimpressed. We had three different burgers, all were just "ok". Ditto with the seasoned fries, sweet potato fries, and tater tots. Here is the bright side: our server, Danielle, was great: friendly, welcoming, and good about checking up on us throughout our meal. If you go, hopefully you get her. Nothing was wrong with Brewsky's, but nothing was worth a repeat visit IMHO. read more

Wow....It's honestly impressive how many issues we had with this meal. We ordered carry out and the missteps just kept on coming. A burned cheeseburger with cheese thrown over the burned portion to try to cover it, undercooked cheese planks (just mush, not even browned), taco salad with no salsa and no ranch, terrible (I'm guessing frozen judging by the poor quality) buffalo chicken strips with no bleu cheese (despite the fact that we requested extra on the phone, and BBQ pork sandwich WITH NO BBQ SAUCE. Also, I have never in my life seen a pulled pork sandwich with cubed meat, or so skimpy a portion, it barely covered the bun. If I could give no stars I would, do yourself a favor, stay away, stay far far away. read more

Part of a chain, this Brewsky's sticks pretty close to the formula. Offer bar food, bottled beer, limited tap beers, and put a television in any available overhead space. Then, baffle your patrons by tuning ever one of the 63 televisions to the same channel. I guess that at least you won't have to swivel your head to follow the action. There's plenty of seating so unless it's during a Husker game, you can find a table easily. I'd like to say that the food here is pretty good. And for the most part, it's decent. It's just that it does not rise above any of its sports bar competition. On our last visit here, we shared two different orders of nacho plates with our table. Both offerings were disappointing in that they were skimpy in portion size. If you're going to call them Super Nachos, then don't put out Mediocre Nachos. Otherwise, the sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc., are pretty much all average. This Brewsky's gets three stars from me, because I can at least find a bottled beer or two that I really like. The taps are pretty much standard American offerings, so if that's your thing, you will probably love it here. read more

The only thing that makes this a 4 star instead of a 5 star is that it is a little too big for the amount of staff that is working during lunch. At night I don't know how they keep up. Pretty good place to be during a Nebraska football game (even if you're not here and am not a fan.) Ton's of TV's and a huge bar. Nice appetizers and a family friendly environment during the day. Cons: Staff is all over the place and it may seem they need more people during big events; you kind of have to flag them down. I'm not sure what happened to this place. This was our "go to" place for years. Now they seem to be plagued with ridiculous incompetence. We keep giving them chances because it's close and we used to love it, but it may be the worst place in town now. Tonight we saw our food sit in the window for 20 minutes. We didn't see our waitress during that time and we all sat with empty glasses. When we finally got our food (about an hour after we ordered it) it was cold to touch. Actually cold. When we told the staff we didn't want to eat the cold food, they said, "That's cool. You can go. We'll take care of it." It seemed like it must happen all the time now. read more

So disappointed with this restaurant - ordered three salads through UberEats today - the grilled chicken breast salad. Suppose to have pecans, blue cheese crumbles, cucumbers etc on the salad with a grilled chicken breast - received a bowl of iceberg lettuce with maybe (10) 1/2" x 1/2" pieces of chicken, no cucs, no blue cheese, no pecans. Sad they think they can screw over a customer simply because they aren't physically in the restaurant. Will never order from them again, nor go into their establishment. My husband and I visited with a group of 12 other friends. This was for an after meeting gathering. Jaycee D was our waitress and she rocked it. Our drinks and our food came out timely. She has such a positive attitude. Our large group did not panic her at all. Tickets were accurate. We have another meeting next Friday. Our server was great, excellent service overall. There were tons of TVs everywhere, so I would say its a very good place to catch a game. The drink selection was great and the drinks were very good. We ordered a chicken wing app, which was good, but could have used some more sauce. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich, but it was not made correctly! The ingredients were great, but the sandwich is supposed to be pressed to make it toasty. I think that is the best part. We had been here with a group before and had trouble with orders not being put in correctly or at all, but we decided to give them another chance. My husband and I took our daughter here on a Friday night specifically to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather. The patio was filled with employees who were mostly off duty drinking heavily and taking so loudly we couldn't hear each other. It quickly became a string of swearing to the point everyone else was uncomfortable. One of the girl's last names was Kock, which we only know because it sounds just like it's spelled and everyone had to repeat it at the top of their voices. This is not just a bar, it's a restaurant in a shopping area with kids all around since it was only 5 or 6. The service and food are decent, but we will not be returning. What a shame, it should and could be a nice place to relax and have dinner and a couple of beers. read more

I've lived in CA for so long now, I've gotten used to TINY little sports bars you have to almost fight over tables to sit in front of a TV that is showing your game! Not at Brewsky's, yay! This place is huge! My husband and I got to the bar RIGHT before kickoff for the first Bears game of the year. I was worried about finding a seat, but was happy to see that although there were a lot of people there, we still had quite a few table choices. I'm not sure that I loved how HIGH the TVs were (I mean, I get it, so the whole place can see but... my neck was a little sore after watching two games. The drinks were ok, reasonably priced (well, not CA prices :) and the food was ok. Typical bar food. The sliders sounded delicious on the menu with four different kinds... don't be fooled, they were not good, at all :( But we enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip. Service was good, we'd go back... well, next time we are in Omaha that is. read more

Since when are supreme nachos made with canned chili and liquid cheese? These use to be made with actually shredded cheese and real seasoned ground beef. Switching the plate it's served on (mean plate not platter) showing you not only took the quality of the product way down but now the portion size. Taco Bell nachos are better than these. Real too bad. There are other ways to cut food costs. read more

We've lived just down the road from Brewsky's for a bit but for whatever reason hadn't yet stopped in to give it a try. But, our sons school recently had a fundraiser night here so it was a good excuse to pop in for a first time. The place itself is fairly large, with dozens of televisions to watch whatever sporting event you desire, a bar area and some video games in the corner. Seating was a little odd as it was just a "seat yourself" type of place, which always worries me that someone will forget you. But, our server (the receipt said Beth) greeted us right away after being seated. We ordered some mozzarella cheese sticks (they call them planks), which we all agreed were quite good. My son ordered a cheeseburger off the kids menu and said it was very good. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger and she wasn't quite as enthusiastic but still liked it. I had a mushroom cheeseburger with turkey rather than beef. I've got to be honest, I was afraid. I gave up eating beef and pork a few months back and some things turkey are good enough (e.g., bacon) and some just fall flat (e.g., turkey sloppy joe's). I am glad to report that this turkey burger was very good actually. Maybe it's because it's been a few months since I've had any kind of burger but it hit the spot. Good bun, good flavor on the burger. I was pleased and am glad they have this option (they also have chicken as an option) for a non-beef eater. They also have a veggie burger option for those non-meat eaters. We ordered the brownie ice cream dessert and my wife and son loved it. They made short work of it. The food for us was probably a four star experience and our server was also attentive. She kept checking on us and was very personable. No complaints with her. But, what brought the star down was how long it took for the food to come out. It was unreasonably long. And it doesn't appear to be an isolated things since many of the recent reviews note a long wait for food. It was a pretty busy night with all the school families in (I assume) and the servers seemed to be a bit short staffed but even with that, a couple of burgers shouldn't take long. So, that put a damper on the overall experience for us. However, I think we will go back. They have a great beer selection and lots of nightly specials on food and drinks. So, we will likely make it a place to visit again.....we'll just plan to be patient! read more

This place is one of the better sports bars in town. They have a ton of tv's so watching the game from just about anywhere isn't a problem. The have a pretty good variety of beer and a full bar. Based on those factors, I would rate the place a four but I have to say the food is mediocre. While it isn't bad, it isn't great either. It's pretty typical for a sports bar. I've had the Patty Melt and a Club and both were ok. I generally make it out to Brewsky's a couple times a year and have a great time. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again. I recommend it just as long as you aren't expecting great food. read more
