Very kind and did not hurt me at all!!! Cloud matte with sliver sparkles.

beautiful nails and service!! Did not hurt my nails at all during appointment. Very quite location for people who don't like loud noises and traffic!

    Awful.

My regular nail place was closed today (New Years Day; bad timing on my part) and I heard a friend say great things about DK, so here I am sitting in a pedicure chair. I was greeted by a man. He Told me prices and also told me that bundle of services I wanted isn't on holiday special. He didn't listen to what I wanted with my nails. They were NOT STRAIGHT. And he kept telling me my nail isn't straight and that it's fine. Than my pedi was the worst pedi I have ever received . Literally 2 second massage. It was rushed because of the people pouring in. DOESN'T MATTER. I was there as a paying customer. My time should have been respected. I will NEVER come back and I encourage everyone to go to one of the other nails places with in a block of this one. One who takes time and respects customers. 65$ later. I've never been so PISSED at an establishment.

    The whole nail isn't painted

Me and my friend came here to get our nails done and i asked for one of the purple colors, she rushed through my whole fill because she had done else coming in, the color was not even close to what i asked for and when i pointed this out, she told me that it was the color i picked out, when i held it up to the swatch she told me it was the same color. On top of that the shape is bad and paint is sloppy.

    Perfect!

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get in! She made my pain go away, and I felt sooooo much better! She was very professional and listened to exactly what I was hoping for in a massage. I will definitely be booking/scheduling another appointment in the near future!! Elizabeth M.

Sharing a friends experience Hello everyone. I had a very…read moreterrible experience with a business called Dana's day spa in dekalb. I never post about anything like this, but this one really got to me. I had received a gift certificate for my 50th birthday to get a massage at this spa. It was a $100 gift certificate. I went online and made an appointment for a hot stone massage. On Wednesday evening our four-year-old dog tragically lost use of her hind legs. We rushed her to the Animal Hospital in Aurora. Seven hours later we unfortunately had to put her down. We did not get home until 3:30am yesterday. My appointment for the massage was 10:30 AM yesterday. I had every intention of making this appointment. I had no idea that this would happen to my dog. I called them and asked if they would allow me to reschedule. I did explain what happened. The owner had the nerve to tell me she has a policy on her 24 hour cancellation because she's a single mom and has to take care of her family, etc.. I totally understand that. I used to be a business owner myself. She absolutely refused to allow me to cancel and reschedule. People have things happen in life. A business can change their policy for extreme circumstances. Having a little compassion and humanity goes a long way. I was furious and told her to charge the gift card and that she could keep the extra five dollars. I am on day two of grieving Over my animal passing away. My dog who passed had a sister dog and they were inseparable. In her short four years, they've never been separated. Not only am I grieving but my other dog is grieving as well. Had I been clairvoyant and knew my dog was going to collapse and die I would've called and canceled the appointment. I was so caught up her dire situation that it never occurred to me to call. Plus, the situation happened about 18 hours before my appointment.... I would've kept this appt had I gotten some sleep the night before and wasn't grieving so hard. She actually charged the gift card that I was given $95 and refused to let me reschedule unless I wanted to pay again. In my mind it just seemed cruel and really about her getting her money. She never even acknowledged the passing of my dog or said sorry. Doesn't matter but it was just very frustrating. Thanks for listening!

Then I tell him I would like my fill in to be done with Milky White powder so it would match from my previous set - he kept saying they don't have milky white powder (but I know for a fact they do because I use to come here and get it all the time) he says "no" so I repeat the question because maybe he just didn't hear me right, so I ask again and he says, "No, I have to take off" Then the male owner hears our conversation and comes over with the Milky White powder and says, "Yes we do have milky white" and I look at the tech like this is what I meant, I knew you had it.. he says nothing back to me or the owner. Now this is when I get upset. He's so triggered by the owner correcting him he starts taking off my no-chip with the drill EXTREMELY aggressively; as if he's trying to purposely burn or knick me. Well he finishes one hand and goes to the next and gives me thee biggest cut under my cuticle - not just grazed me with the drill But like to where I was bleeding and there's a huge chunk of skin missing, a huge gash no exaggeration. He apologizes a couple times but it burned during the entire process and I felt that was intentional and he did it on purpose. There's no doubt. I said, " that really hurt, im wondering why your going so fast and aggressive, please be gentle" and he just says sorry and get me a band-aid. Just be aware and heads up.
