If I could give 1 stars I would. First the Chinese man told me it was $55 then upped $5 more onto the price at the end and told me the $55 was the "fill-in" price. But why are you telling me fill in prices when I need a full set & asked. I can see later if you shared the other prices but no. Then my pedicure was $55 and was done in 10 min. Nail shop really outdated & the acrylic application is terrible. Nail polish job on my toes terrible. They re use an old purple pumice stone. And they say $55 is basic if you want all dead skin off you have to get a more expensive pedicure. Absolutely insane. Then when I explained I didn't like it and left my wallet there and leave out the store. I check my phone for my air tag on my wallet and it's in the store and they denied it!! Once I told them I was calling the police, my wallet was turned into the police department 10 min later. They are THEIFS. said their cameras don't work too many other nail salons to go to instead of here. And the job is terrible. Good service! I guess I am just used to the guy that my mani, and ped's in California I just moved from Long Beach, CA, and since I had no idea what was around the area. I popped in on the salon. Much to my surprise, he took me on the spot. I forget his name, but he was very kind . And he did a great job, The prices are about what I am used to paying. I've been coming here for almost 3 years now and I asked for a no chip manicure 2 days later it chipped and they will not fix it "we do not have time " it's one nail!!! For DeKalb, this is one of the better nail salons. I am comparing it to a city/suburb nail salon so that is why it gets the three stars. The workers are always the same three people and they are so nice and attentive! I get pedicures, gel manicures, and acrylics done here and they always turn out well! I wish the quality of the nail polishes and other products was a little better, but I keep going back because their prices are reasonable and they are so friendly! Most of the time there isn't a wait so you can just walk right in and get your nails done. read more

Went there with friends , with an appointment at 3:30 which was about half an hour or less before they closed at 4, waited a few min and they took us right away. Was very pleased with both of our nails shapes and colors. The only complaint that we had was when going to check out the lady told me my price was 50 dollars yet when we called before our appointment, they told us it was going to be 45 for my nails, they were stating that they charge extra for shape or cut down of your nails. That being said that they did not inform me of this before getting nails done, I was not happy. but the guy who did my nails changed the price which was very nice and professional of him so appreciate that!!! read more

My regular nail place was closed today (New Years Day; bad timing on my part) and I heard a friend say great things about DK, so here I am sitting in a pedicure chair. I was greeted by a man. He Told me prices and also told me that bundle of services I wanted isn't on holiday special. He didn't listen to what I wanted with my nails. They were NOT STRAIGHT. And he kept telling me my nail isn't straight and that it's fine. Than my pedi was the worst pedi I have ever received . Literally 2 second massage. It was rushed because of the people pouring in. DOESN'T MATTER. I was there as a paying customer. My time should have been respected. I will NEVER come back and I encourage everyone to go to one of the other nails places with in a block of this one. One who takes time and respects customers. 65$ later. First of all, let me say that I really wanted to like this place. We were coming into town for our annual family Christmas get together. My sister has visited this place before and booked an appointment for four plus my little five year old granddaughter on Christmas Eve at noon(yes, I know, but it was the ONLY day we would all be together)! The people were very friendly, the chairs fairly comfortable and overall ambiance okay for the strip mall location. However, the price for a basic pedicure - $35.00 and no frills, just your basic pedicure, is ridiculous! I can understand $35.00 for a gel manicure; but not for a basic pedicure with no callous remover, sea salt or extra massage. Coming from Southern California, I can tell you - I pay $35.00 at an excellent nail salon for almost all of the above! Needless to say, for 5 of us we were overcharged! Not to mention, my daughter, who had an acrylic fill, had to go back the day after Christmas because one of her nails was already coming off! Too expensive for what you get. read more

I love this place!! The pedicures are amazing, they take their time and give amazing massages. You're never rushed and everyone is treated the same. Eyebrow waxes are amazing and only one person does them so the consistency is amazing. Manicures and acrylics are always perfect. Me and my friend came here to get our nails done and i asked for one of the purple colors, she rushed through my whole fill because she had done else coming in, the color was not even close to what i asked for and when i pointed this out, she told me that it was the color i picked out, when i held it up to the swatch she told me it was the same color. Went there as a walk in on Saturday afternoon. Their teenage son slapped my hand with some lotion and soaked my bare nails. Then the mom "the best one" rushed through my no chip so quick is had bumps on it. No one did my cuticles so the base of my nails looks sloppy. When I pointed it out to her she argued that her son did do my cuticles and then they conversed in their language. She smoothed out the bumps and put on 2 more layers. Still looks like shit. Not worth the $35 and I will never go back. read more

Will never go here again, my mother is visually impaired. They let her sit in cold water for a long time without starting her pedicure. She got up and was leaving a lady "who didn't work there" started yelling at her.. my pedicure was over priced and not worth the money the lady didn't do half the things it says they do.. completely worthless, don't go here! read more

Hands down the best manicure I have ever gotten, I did a no chip manicure and I have been to several places in town and no one has ever done this well. I went with a girl friend of mine, and her nails are also amazing. The girl who did ours was very friendly and asked exactly what we wanted, and had us double check how they looked to make sure they were up to our standards. She took her time and but it was also one of the quickest manicures I've gotten with two of us there. The same girl did both of our nails so that way we could sit next to each other and chat the whole time. I will DEFINIENTLY be going back! Thank you DK Nails!
