This review is for Christiana. First time getting extensions and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The final product amazed me - I feel like a different person. The color and extensions are simply gorgeous. The staff was all friendly and personable. I will definitely be coming back! New expensive addiction, but so worth it! I have that mermaid hair I was dreaming of!

Im giving 2 stars because while I was at the salon and when I left I was happy. My hair looked great. I was in and out with fresh color and 2 rows in 2.5 hours. The extensions are so flat and very discrete. It was 2 weeks later that I realized for the amount of money that was spent it and quality of hair and work it wasn't worth it. I used the products they gave me (oribe) and wash my hair only 2x per week. Ive had various extension methods over the last 10 years. By the end of the second week the extentions were already hanging pretty low. The color of the extensions were extremely brassy and no longer matched my hair or blended! I was so disappointed as I thought this was a long term solution, I thought the hair it self would last at least 6 months for the high price. When I asked during my consultation over the phone how much to move up the rows would be i was told "a fraction of the price". Yet at checkout I was quoted an additional $600 for a "color refresh and move up 1 month! I had my extensions done in October. Had them moved up elsewhere October 30 and she tried to fix the extension color however due to the poor quality of the hair it didnt last and exactly 2 months later I needed to invest in all new hair again. Hence the need for my review. Im obviously upset after spending so much money and needing to spend more so soon. If your a regular person (not super rich) like myself I would advise against this method as it will be a never ending black hole investment. If you have the money go for it!

I have found what works for me and with help and education provided to and offered to me by the salon's staff! No pressure at all! But it is an amazing and specialized method! In fact it's easier for people to just think that my hair grew 22 inches in 2 weeks lol then have them realize it's not all mine and not a wig! But awesome way of doing extensions -- from the best ! And the color color color is so personalized and natural!!!!! And natural -- means no hurt .....AND, they do not hurt!!!! And do less damage, hide better in the hair and they won't slip out! I have even been swimming with mine! And have had no hair issues...even though my hair is not usually the best when it comes to health.... and I have tried tons of non intrusive methods and other alternatives trying to keep my scalp balanced and follicles in check.... but it is what it is..... and my hair had never been happier or healthier! Katie is beyond any doubt the best stylist I have ever gotten to know and be able to really talk to about what I want and work with me to give me just that!! Ian is always In there and he is AMAZING fast and such an expert! The whole staff is amazing and I have never once gone in there (now coming up to my 4/5th time going) and not enjoyed the professionalism and transparency I have gotten with the crew that's there when I go! In fact, you can tell they love their job, and not because they are NBR ballin.... but they are real people who love hair and LOVE THIER CLIENTS and what their hair can offer to their clients!!!!! So not only are results crazy natural, but the passion and synergistic love the salon and it's current crew offers is more natural than anything and I'm just being honest and have been inside

I spent months researching the best place to get extensions, as I had never before had any. I'm very picky about what I do to my hair/body and only strive for the very best and NBR was that. I booked my appointment with Ian at DKW Salon. The receptionist Lorenso is who kept in touch with me to make sure I knew how to get to my appointment and gave me all the information I would need prior to my arrival. He also texted me and asked me if I would like any coffee or breakfast, and ordered me a cappuccino. When I arrived at my appointment, Lorenso greeted me with a hug and knew my name as soon as I walked through the door. He is so absolutely pleasant. I quickly got into the chair with Ian and he began studying my hair and deciding exactly what he wanted to do. He was very assertive and I immediately trusted him and let him decide what he would do and I sat back and relaxed. Not only was Ian the nicest hair stylist I've ever had the pleasure of being around, but he also has skills unlike any I've seen. Although I've never had extensions of my own, I've been around them my whole life and am very familiar with them. The extensions I got were unlike any I've ever seen. He blended them perfectly with my hair and the color is incredible. The best part is, I was in and out of the salon in THREE HOURS for consultation, photos, color, wash, dry, cut, extensions, cut, and styling plus after photos. Ian executed fast and effortlessly but was never in a rush and really paid so much attention to detail. I am so happy with my hair and can't wait to go back for my maintenance move- up in 6 weeks.

Where do I begin? I gave this salon a try for 4 months but there were several issues. First, I was disappointed by my color done by Amanda and also her "I-know-better-than-you-attitude." She didn't give me the color I initially wanted, it was much darker than I had asked for. I had to go back a few days later to get a color correction. Amanda herself was too busy to take me so Krystal did my color, and had an attitude like she was doing me a big favor the whole time I was there. At my 6 week appointment, Amanda this time dyed my hair a much brighter blonde, which I had initially wanted, but since she had made me so dark at my first appointment with darker extensions to match, my extensions no longer matched the brighter color of my hair. At my next 6 week appointment, she made me yet a different shade of blond, this time a brassy blond, which no one wants! And my hair still didn't match my dark extensions. She also positioned them in a way where I couldn't part my hair on the normal side I part it because my extensions would show through! So annoying! She also tightened the beads so tight that I had headaches for a week after and caused a sore on my scalp where it was pulled so tight (I don't have this problem anymore since I started going to a different salon who uses the same method). I always voiced my concerns, but they were always shot down by Amanda who I didn't feel listened to me at all. After all of this, I started searching for a new stylist at another salon who had to do a color correction and also placed the extensions in a way where I wasn't constantly paranoid that they were showing. What is the point of getting extensions when they don't match your hair and you're constantly paranoid that they're showing?? I was expecting better quality work because this salon is NOT cheap. They told me I required 3 rows at my initial appointment which was $2200. Then at my second appointment Amanda said I could do just 2 rows. Great, but then I have a whole row of hair in a ziplock bag that I paid for and am no longer using!!! Each 6 week appointment is at least $700. I get it, extensions are an investment, but I spent $3500 here in just a few months and was never happy with the result! Don't get fooled by their instagram pictures. Spend your $ at a place where you will be better taken care of!

Worth every penny! My color amazing the blend superb. I was nervous at first because i wasn't sure if my curly hair was going to be a problem. Ani Reassured me that everything was going to be OK. The vibe and the energy in the salon was great. Ani my NBR stylist and I played a little game I didn't look in the mirror until she was completely finished. It was my own reveal. My boyfriend definitely in love. If you have short damaged hair and want long luxurious locks you must call DKW Styling.

I cannot say enough about DKW Styling! After following their social media accounts for a year, I finally made an appointment to experience their hair transformations for myself. From the initial application process I knew I was in good hands. Their application was very easy and made me feel more confident in expressing why I wanted to invest in extensions for myself. Lo is AMAZING! From our initial phone call to my experience when I stepped foot in the salon - he goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and a part of the NBR family. I get my hair done with Ian, who is truly incredible at what he does. He listens to what you envision for your hair and clearly communicates with you every step of the way. Being brunette- finding a good colorist is hard, however Ian works his magic every-time. My extensions are SO comfortable. When I tell people I have extensions they are truly shocked because they are blended so well and look like my natural hair. The salon, the stylists, the entire vibe at DKW is something special. The amazing hair is just a cherry on top of the amazing experience and way their team makes you feel every time you step in and out of the salon. I'm hooked and will be a DKW/NBR girl for life!

Many stylists have left & I feel inconsistency remains with the new stylists. Referred several friends to a particular stylist but they couldn't make it happen, very disappointed. I think referrals are deserved and should be respected. And come to learn that they have 'influencer packages'? Okay as a paying customer who is dropping good money for hair, this makes me very upset. Instagram influencers should be paying the same as us regular customers. As a working nurse, I work hard for my money.... instagram influencers on the other hand... no comment. Either everyone is paying the same, or I'm taking my business else where. Which I already have.

I am OBSESSED with my extensions. My real hair is about to my collarbone and I have been wanting hair nearing my waist for my whole life. I'll be honest, extensions definitely made me nervous in general, even as a hairstylist. We've all heard horror stories and have seen great, and terrible extensions. I decided to give it a try and there is no way I will ever take them out. Styling and taking care of them is super easy. No one ever knows I have extensions and that's what we all want!!! If you have fine hair or are just wanting longer hair I would DEFINITELY recommend Danielle. She is truly a master of her craft!

I love love the amazing job Ani did with my hair. I have a fresh new look and couldn't be happier with my results. I now have long thick hair like I did when I was younger. The price tag is a little hefty but if it fits in the budget I highly recommend.

I was not in line when the great hair was passed out. Thin, won't grow past my shoulders - I got another brand of very expensive extensions for a few years - and it did a lot of damage. I heard about Danielle and her team two years ago - and my hair not only looks incredible - it's actually gotten healthier. Val and Stacy are incredible stylists as well - great color, great people. Worth every penny!
