The lifeguards at the diving boards did not ensure that yellow bands were on little kids' wrists. My nephew went over there and was obviously not 12. Nothing done. I took him away and put him where he belonged. I had three kids with me all different ages and heights. Lifeguards need to be lifeguards and not be checking out other teenagers and playing games amongst themselves. It was very obvious. Sad really. Won't be back.

They have a snack bar that seems to have something for everyone with great prices! The price to get in is so affordable at eight dollars per child. It's the cheapest fun you can have! If you're a parent/caregiver and you want to swim, it will cost you the same but if you just want to go in it, it's five dollars to enter. We typically stay the full rec time that is 3 1/2 hours. We absolutely love it. The splash pad for the younger kids is really awesome with a waterslide that's perfect for youngsters! That waterslide is so much fun and these little ones have a blast! Come on! Any hotel knows that you shouldn't require guests to stair-climb to enter the hot tub. The designers of the Active Wellness Center were too cheap to build a fully in-ground jacuzzi pool. Also... the only way a disabled person could get through the heavy glass doors surrounding the pool and dressing rooms is to have a strong caregiver present. And even then, the wheelchair will smash against the glass doors, which won't stay open for you. And get this! When I cancelled our memberships, they provided only the tiniest box to explain why we were cancelling. I typed "Not Enough Space Here." I fully expected them to email me asking for details. Nope. They never wrote.

It took me 40 minutes to find a spot a quarter mile away and I was congratulated how lucky I was. At least all the parents seemed careful not to encroach on any driveways but still, the traffic! At the complex, there's only a small lot that accommodates about 20 cars, not even enough space for the judges and coaches. The pool is well maintained but the deck around it, small. Locker and restrooms are woefully lacking and old. I was grateful I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for one of three stalls in the ladies' restroom. Not my favorite competition spot.

The monthly membership fee for both my son and I is $100 per month for 5 different gyms. Out of the 5 in the area, this is our main location. It's right off the freeway, easily accessible and I always have a positive experience when coming here. Pro's are: super friendly and responsive staff at front desk and at the kids club. In fact my son LOVES coming here so much that even on the days I don't feel like working out, he convinces me to come to so he can go to the kids club. The women's locker room and restrooms are very clean and always functioning. When I come here all the cardio equipment is functioning and there are an abundance of machines to choose from. Even on high traffic days I can always find a machine to use. I've seen some of the weight machines needing repairs but not for extended periods of time. Classes look fun but I'm just not there yet in my fitness journey! Lol. Soon tho... My secret indulgence and my favorite part of coming to this gym are the massage chairs though! After a workout I love to decompress in their amazing massage chairs.... They can recline to a certain angle where your legs are elevated and you feel like you're floating in space while you zone out to the massage. I love to drown out the noise with a good classical playlist, slip on my aromatherapy eye pillow and let the stress melt away for half an hour. You do have to reserve the chair in advance through the app, but that's no biggie. Money well spent!

Mark and Rod with Pristine pools came out to discuss the situation and after research we determined that our lining was 25 years old. Way past what is expected. Pristine measured the pool and gave us a quote. They walked us through the steps and costs including letting us know what might be extras. Since this was in December we thought we might be stuck with an ugly pool until the rains stopped in April. Pristine took advantage of the lack of rain in early January. Drained the pool, added a new lining and skimmer and had it ready within a week. And it looks great. No leaks and came in as budgeted. Highly recommend

After the Tubbs Fire wiped us out in 2017, the first order of business before rebuilding the house…read morewas to replace the above-ground pool that Rod at Pristine Pool and Spa had installed 28 years earlier in 1989. It's hard to believe the Doughboy pool he installed lasted us that long! But it did. Truly impressive. We were pretty satisfied customers. We looked up Pristine Pool in Forestville and were thrilled that Rod and his son Mark were still in business. We called and discussed the project, and Rod came over and took some measurements. In no time at all, Rod had a backhoe and crew over to clear the site of fire debris and prepare the area for a bigger, deeper, and way more funner pool than we had before. Four potable water truck deliveries later, the pool was finally filled, and my three dogs were again happy campers. Well, we were too. It took eight weeks from start to finish. Rod coordinated everything needed -- site excavation, surface preparation, pool wall and liner installation, pool filtration, startup, and chemicals. Everything worked out as expected. Our only delay was waiting three weeks for Doughboy to manufacture the 28x16' oval pool liner: a tricky one requiring a significant 7' deep end. But it was worth the wait. Our dogs and visiting company have enjoyed the pool since Pristing Pool installed it. And we have had absolutely no issues with anything at all. Interestingly, Pristine Pool and Spa do more than just install pools; they also repair them. Early one spring morning in 2022, a large mature Doe and her newborn Fawn decided to go swimming in the pool. The Doe managed to get herself out, but not before poking a few invisible holes somewhere in the liner, causing a slow leak in need of repair. We called Pristine Pool for advice, and Ron advised that his son, Mark, provided leak detection and repair services. How lucky was that? Mark arrived a few days later. It was April, and the pool water bore winter's comforting chill still. Nonetheless, Mark donned a wetsuit and some diving gear, jumped in, and within 15 minutes, managed to find a collection of virtually invisible holes in the floor and sides of the pool liner, which he patched and immediately stopped the pool from losing water further. Cost? Less than a fancy dinner for two up. We were stoked! The company and its owners, Rod and Mark, have proved and continue to remain trustworthy, skilled, and high-quality craftsmen who take pride in their work and that of their employees and care genuinely for their customers. Thank you for your many years of devotion to your craft and dedication to service. We were lucky to find Pristine Pools 34 years ago.
