When you find a bed bug, especially during the Thanksgiving holiday, it's an EMERGENCY! I called a pest control company here in Temple, and they were very nice, sending me a checklist of everything we needed to do to prepare for pesticide treatment the following Monday. It was an exhaustive prep. Basically like moving your house. EVERYTHING out of all of the bookshelves and dressers and closets throughout the house. So we started the process in our two story house. Two days at the laundromat, washing even things we hadn't seen in years, from the back of our dressers. 36 bags of clean laundry and linens filled the garage. We were exhausted, but we hadn't even started on the bookshelves. I decided to call another company and just see if we really needed to go that far. I reached Jefry at DM. After telling him we had only seen ONE bug, he said we didn't need the heat treatment I was considering, and he would come inspect the house on Saturday to determine what else we needed to do. So we wouldn't waste any time over the weekend. Yay! After inspection, he assured us we didn't need to clear the bookshelves. Just wash the bedclothes and linens. Done! We did throw out the mattress where the bug was spotted, just because. Jefry returned Tuesday to spray, and gave us a one year guarantee! It's Thursday today, and he just called to make sure everything is okay. Jefry is serious about your pest control. Very professional and knowledgeable. We are very pleased! Very Reliable, Prompt, and Quality work at a reasonable and affordable price. We have been using DM pest Control for almost 4 years and will continue to do so for years to come. We got to keep up with the schedule and call them when service is needed. This might be an issue for a few. Don't waste your time or money. They seemed super legitimate at first and I was confident they would help me with my problem. After the first treatment and still getting bed bug bites I called and one of the technicians all but called me crazy and recommended going to the er to identify what I was experiencing. They came out a second time and still receiving bites. Their third visit I wasn't home but my roommate said they stayed less than 10 minutes and nothing was moved. I am still getting bit and finding actual bugs. I called Jefry and he said he would come out himself but not until a week later. Shouldn't all of his technicians be qualified? I paid them 300 dollars for nothing. Do your self a favor... Buy food grade diatomaceous earth and a puffer and doit yourself. It's much cheaper and actually effective. read more

Almost every time I have called the D M Pest Control number, Jeffrey (the owner) has answered. I doubt that can be guaranteed for every customer over time, but I like that he makes a point of answering right away. If you are like me, you tend to put off pest control, because I am torn about having any chemicals (organic or not) in my home. Anyway, if you are like me and already dragging your feet on a home maintenance task, not reaching someone right away can result in the task getting put off even longer. So, it's nice to reach someone right away. I thought about it, I called, I agreed to email my information and problems experiencing (roaches in one bathroom, ants in 2 other bathrooms), he responds that evening, and boom, I'm all set with minimal hassle. No calling twice, no phone tag, no waiting, etc. Again, I like that. He helped out in my previous home, and when I had a minor re-occurance of ants in one location of my house, he came out and fixed the problem. I was happy about this, because my initial contact with him came by way of a Living Social coupon, and I felt having to make a follow-up visit on a Living Social paycheck cannot have worked out well for him. I believe there are no current Living Social coupons available for D M Pest Control, by the way. For my current service (January 2015), Jeffrey came out to my current home and was very patient about explaining everything they were doing (he showed up with an employee Mel). I chose the organic service with a one-year contract because I am concerned about my young children. Anyway, I like that he was willing to explain every chemical used and to show me all the application points. Even with organic applications, I want to keep my children away from these areas. Well, I said that I would be back in a couple of weeks to give an update review. I know how important these reviews are to people like myself so I'm keeping true on my word. DM is suppose to come out later on this week to do their follow up and to see how things are going. I will tell you that I am a VERY happy customer! I have NOT had 1 bed bug that I have seen. No more bites! My kids are not getting bit! THEY ARE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have not had the chance to get my boys back into their bunk beds because it's all taken apart but I am hoping to have that done soon. When I get them back into their bunk bed I will do ANOTHER update! I really wanted to put out there that we HAD bed bugs and DM kicked their butts! It is really hard to find reviews that say BED BUGS. They all just say Bugs...what kind of bugs??!! I wanted/needed to know that information because that's the situation I was dealing with and I wanted someone that could relate to tell me that it could be done. And by the way...the treatment was chemical. That was another thing I wanted to know...does chemical treatment work? I really hope that my reviews guide you into the right decision. My property management company hired DM Pest Control to get rid of our roof rat problem. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Mike is the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. He was nearly 3 hours late to our 1st appointment, with no courtesy call/text. He never showed up for our second appointment when he was supposed to check the rat traps. Once again no call or text. Finally, he just showed up at my door at 6pm today (unannounced) to check the traps. He didn't even tell me the outcome, he left without saying anything. He does not know how to run a business and he obviously doesn't care about his customers. read more

It's been 4 months and I can say so far I am pleased with the service I received. Seen bugs on side of mattress and called immediately. Jeffery came out to inspect and identify bugs. I got the heat treatment for bed bugs which was pricey, but came with a warranty. I chose this option per recommendation and research since ihave 4roomsand 3 baths. I seen a bed bug a couple days later and called Jeffery. He sent someone out that day to re inspect. The guy found none and told me it was probably a dead one. He offered to treat again and have option to call him back out if necessary. I declined treatment since my infant was home and we'd have to leave. Haven't had a problem since. Might of just been paranoid. I also has a mix up with my PayPal payment and Jeffrey was more than helpful with refunding my money so I could repay with the correct account. In turn dabbing me sind unnecessary fees. I would definitely recommend them or reuse if ever (but hopefully not) necessary. Thanks again Jeffrey and crew!!! read more

I was having a major fire ant issue in the backyard. We have a filled-in pool and they seemed to love it! We have a playscape on top of the filled-in pool and the fire ants were everywhere. I had finally reached my limit when I was out pushing my daughter on the swing and the fire ants began attacking my legs. I called DM Pest Control on the recommendation of a friend. Jeffrey answered the phone and he was really nice. He said he could take care of the issue. He recommended the three-month guarantee rather than the one-year guarantee since we are close to winter (hopefully!) Awesome since the three-month option is cheaper! Joseph came out and sprayed the whole yard then baited it. Within two days, I didn't see one fire ant! It was so nice to sit outside! Then three weeks later, the little guys started popping up again in the filled-in pool. I called Jeffrey and he came out the same day! He sprayed again and walked around the perimeter of the house to make sure he got them all. He told me to call again if I see anymore show up. (I guess they love the pool area because it's nice and toasty for them.) I love not having to have a contract and I love that he is willing to come out so quickly. read more
