It's easy to set up time and work with Todd on issues. He treated our rented house for roaches. He gave us relevant and manageable tips and suggestions, some of which we can take care of on our own and others can be presented to the homeowner in the report he provides. Because it's too hot to take our dog anywhere, he was really patient with switching her inside and out and working around her. Our most important discovery is that the garage door threshold is missing, since the carpet came out before we moved in, and the gap is large enough for rats and snakes! This review is closer to a 4.5 instead of a 5, but I bumped him up. Todd was great. I purchased his Living Social deal on one day and then called the next day to schedule. He responded and scheduled me pretty fast. Unfortunately, he did not show up to his appointment on the schedule day. He did call once I called him and told me that is was too cold for the work. I understood and we rescheduled for the next day. Once he showed, he was early and discussed with me what he was doing. He also provided me with information on how to protect my house from nasty and pesky bugs. He was personable, great, and was efficient. Todd is the best! No more Carpenter Ants. He came out about 4 months ago there have not been any pesky bug problems either. We have decided to have him come out quarterly and take care of our home. Todd in very intuitive, adamant, and determinant to solve your problem. He is very knowledgeable about pest control, chemicals and safeness for pets and children . We've been using A Killer Instinct for years and would never use anyone else. A friend of mine referred them and that's the best recommendation of all. Todd is a friendly guy and he is very prompt, courteous, professional and organized. I get a proactive text from him every 3 months like clockwork. And because of that we never have bugs, ever. I had a problem with ants when we first started working with A Killer Instinct. This was the 3rd company I called, 2 other of the big name companies came out also. They did not know what kind of ants we had! Couldn't decide if it was this or that. Todd knew right away, we had two different kinds of ants and they would need to be treated differently in order to eradicate them. Nope, not happy at all. We bought a Groupon and I have been trying to make an appointment. Left a voice mail and sent an e-mail via their web-site, not a peep from this business. We asked Groupon to help us to schedule an appointment, and received an e-mail from Groupon to tell us that they reached out to this business. 3 more days passed and still nothing. Todd just opened up a few months ago we were one of his first clients. We had tons of nasty fire ants and tried everything I could find in Home Depot but it would only last a week or so and then they'd be back. Eventually they started coming in our house and that's when we called Todd. Our toddlers play in the back yard a lot so we really need there to be no colonies at all but we also can't have toxic stuff around since they are toddlers and put everything in their mouth. Todd uses non-toxic natural stuff that's safe for the kids 20 min after he puts it on. He came out very quickly and treated the yard. It took a couple of treatments (he came out for free after the first treatment since we signed for the quarterly plan where you only pay once per quarter) but after that we haven't had any fire ants. After moving houses, noticed we had all sorts of bugs in the house. Todd came by and sprayed ourhouse and the issue was quickly resolved! He was knowledgeable about his pest control services and was fun to talk with while he was at the house. Also, he is easy to contact. A lot of pest control companies you call are busy at client and spraying, you'll get voicemail over and over and never hear back. Bought an Amazon local deal for their indoor/outdoor pest service. When they arrived, I was informed the service doesn't cover scorpions, one of the major pests that are actually a problem in Texas. That service would be an extra $150. Total rip-off and unethical advertising of their service. They treated the house for pests we don't have, great! read more

He was nice but seemed more interested in petting my dog than pest control. Came out for three visits and haven't heard a word since. When I had ABC, they came out bi-weekly for a couple of months to insure I had no pest issues. All the visits were covered by one fee. I was charged per visit. read more

After a bad experience I received from Edge Pest Control in the past, I was hesitant to call another pest contractor but glad I called theses guys and I wanted to stop and give a review to the great service that was provided a few days prior for me,...I had a serious infestation of fire ants in different spots of our house. I was getting bit with some random ants and then to find these little punks invading our pantry. I called our hero to come take care of the issue and sure enough they disappeared. No more ants or even spiders. I'm looking at these other reviews and it blows my mind to see what people write on here. They get a super cheap price and complain about having to pay a little more for scorpions?? What's next? Free services? Some people need to pull it together. Seriously! I even trusted him to pest control when I wasn't home. He was nice enough to let me dog out for awhile while he sprayed. Thanks again for taking care of my bug issues and for a very reasonable price. Great guy! Definitely call him! I had a special circumstance this morning and called him. He was at my house in less than an hour. He immediately found the source of the problem. Then he gave me a quote to fix it and worked with me on a payment plan. He then sprayed my house with dog friendly insecticide. We switched over to Todd and A Killer Instinct about a year ago after being unhappy with a large/corporate-type company. We couldn't be happier. He is always on-time, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He takes time to explain about different insects to me and my kids, which they love!
