My initial dealing with this company was positive...but then…read more.. I "rented" a CPAP machine from SleepTech in the fall of 2025. My insurance at that time referred to them. In January of 2026, my wife retired from her job (our insurance source). I contacted SleepTech to let them know I was moving to medicare, and our new provider would be Kaiser Sr. Advantage (who have since taken my machine into their system and are providing supplies). I requested a pay-off amount form SleepTech, paid it, and closed my account...or so I thought. Now they are telling me I still owe a large sum of money, and I am getting repeated voicemails from them (when they've called, I have been busy on another call and unable to answer). When I call back, I am put on hold until I give up, only to get another call, then voicemail, thus starting the process over again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY unless you have no other choice (and honestly, the amount they've billed me on rent--now paid off--turns out to be more than buying a machine out-of-pocket would have cost me). Highly UNRECOMMEND!

The sleep technologist in the Portland (SW Marlow) office is great, but the customer service is…read morehorrible. Their customer service is offshore. You can't call the office directly. They never answer. You have to leave a message. They don't call you back. Your doctor gives them orders and it takes them day/weeks for those changes to be made. They also give you incorrect advice. Always check with your doctor to verify what they tell you. Again, the technologist is great, but the problem is the customer service/compliance and the rest of the organization leaves a lot to be desired.
