A woman came to me "do you need help", I had to say "why do you think I'm standing here?" My friend had been called that her walker was ready to be picked up. When I gave them her name it wasn't ready.

I called a few times and was told he was not eligible for extra supplies for three months even though he wasn't given enough to last. Fortunately I am a long time CPAP user and own a NuWave cleaner. A week before he was eligible for replacement supplies I called to order and was told to set up a patient portal, where I also placed the order. When the supplies failed to arrive I called and was told I would get a call back from their distribution center. This never happened. I called the doctor to have our prescription transferred and was told that they frequently get complaints from patients about Norco. There are other local CPAP suppliers (RS Medical) in Vancouver but they've been unable to obtain a contact from Medicare or UHC. So I also called and complained to my insurance providers. I'm a retired home health nurse and I have never experienced such horrible customer service from the many supply companies that I have worked with over the years.

In the time of crisis, Orion came to the rescue. After going to multiple convenience stores and…read morepharmacy spots, Orion was the only place lucky enough to get new shipment of N95 masks. My mom visiting from the Bay Area had a mission and that was to buy as many masks as possible to redistribute back to her friends and Hong Kong. Back in the Bay Area, EVERYWHERE was temporarily sold out. I called prior to coming in and the kind lady said she just got some in stock. My mom managed to get a case of masks and she is now one happy mommy :) I'm amazed at how clean the place was and the great customer service they provided. It was my first time coming in a medical supply place so I had no clue whether I had to be a professional or need any special license. If I ever needed anything medical I'd be sure to come back here again!

I needed a boot for a foot injury, but sadly I had been having trouble with my new insurance company, so while waiting to get my insurance card and make a doctor's appointment, I figured I'd get a boot to alleviate my foot pain. The woman I worked with was incredibly helpful and amazing. She let me try on several boots, and when I decided I didn't one that comes up to your shin, she helped me find an ankle height boot. They didn't have any in stock, so she called four different places around Vancouver (something I was more than happy to do myself). But hey, I won't complain about the extra help! No one around had any, so we looked through catalogs together until I found the right one. She was honest and said it would take a week to arrive, and with foot pain, a week is a long time. She was able to get it express ordered, obviously at an extra fee, but even the extra cost wasn't a lot. They don't bill your insurance anyway, so I was able to get my boot within three days. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend Orion to anyone who needs medical supplies.

This is the the third time I have needed a new mattress for my hospital bed, and the second time I…read morehave requested a NEW or different hospital bed or frame. The first time--was about 16 months ago or so--it was summer, and hot. The fella refused to change out the hospital bed frame. Instead he tried to "fix" it. The springs and several clips were broken. Then he kneeled on the bed to fix my triangle grab bar, and rebroke everything he fixed. After he left, I had to crawl under the bed, and try to rewire the broken frame back together. I have been afraid to call Apria for fear of what might happen. My doctor made the new order two days ago. Apria called me yesterday. They were awesome on the phone. Said no problem, straight across the board, switch out BOTH BED AND MATTRESS. The driver/technician gets here--first thing--as he reviews the broken fixes I had to make. "Gee whats is wrong with this bed?" I point out the white coated wire I used to fix the bed. He says: "How long have you had the bed?" I answer, since 2012. He gets all excited, raises his voice and says: "Well, you own the bed, it is not our bed, we are not responsible." I repeated to him that the office knows the date, and how long I have had the bed and what happened. I ask him to please change out the bed frame. Then he looks at the mattress, it has an actual hole in it from the broken wires! It is has a dip in the middle too, from the bed being broken. He says to me: "Are you sure YOU really need a new mattress?" I felt as if I was being questioned about my request--and had to defend myself. My caregiver felt the need to leave the apartment--and follow him to the delivery truck, to make sure he would bring up BOTH THE BED AND MATTRESS. As I waited, I broke down and cried--as I have both heart failure and fibromyalgia. I got up very, very early this morning to strip the bed and to move things out of my room. My caregiver came at 9am this morning. She has had to leave now. It is 5pm. I am exhausted. This person from Apria is just now hauling out the old bed. We expected him sometime between 10:15am to 2:15pm. Then the time changed to 1pm-4pm. I have zero help now to make the bed up, or to even put my room to rights. I am no longer in shape to do things like crawling under the bed anymore.Making beds without help, and such. I used to be a CNA, NA, Emergency Room Clerk, and Medical Receptionist/Secretary. I was also a math tutor. I use a four wheeled walker. I do not know what has happened, if it is the job market, or what. These driver/delivery people are very overweight. It is hard for them to do their jobs. I am sure they are very exhausted at the end of the day. I feel sorry for this man. I am overweight too. However while I worked in the medical field--I never allowed my weight to stop me from doing my job in the Emergency Room, or in the Nursing Home, or in the doctor's office. I exercised every day, and ate a decent diet, and even though I was 30 to 40 pounds overweight during my employment years--I was physically fit and able to lift 110 pound elderly patients at one time. (I used proper body mechanics) I give the office staff of Apria--five stars!!!! The delivery staff is one star because he even refused to wear shoe booties, and I have a severe life threatening allergy to latex rubber!! He is walking all over my bedroom with his rubber bottomed shoes! I will have to, in addition now, clean my carpet before I can safely walk in there. This is a nightmare. I lost my job in the medical field due to rubber allergy being so severe!! I carry epi pens and my own nebulizer equipment and antihistamines wherever I go just in case of an exposure. So I have give 2 stars overall. I am so sorry. As medical staff when dealing with Apria for patients, awesome company, but as a patient on the receiving end, it has not been so good. I have been greatly disappointed at having medical equipment left at my door--broken. (This was a walker that was left several years ago--broken brakes) , I finally decided it was time to say something. Again, five stars for office staff, NO problems there, it is the delivery staff that IS the problem! Fix that, and then things will be better. Thanks!
