Last week my the windshield on my 2021 Jeep Gladiator was cracked by debris from an uncovered construction truck (Grrrrrr) in Wisconsin. The damage required a windshield replacement. I set an appointment with a corporate auto glass replacement company. When they arrived at my house they informed me they couldn't replace my windshield because a custom light bar "might hurt their tools" and they didn't have a star allen wrench (????) I also waited 4 days for the appointment. I called a custom Jeep shop in the area who referred me to DnB Auto Glass. That was my lucky day. I called DnB and left a message. An hour later I was on the phone with the owner, Frank, who asked for 3 easy pieces of info (via text--yay, why can't all business figure out how to communicate via cell in 2024?), and 5 minutes later, after asking if I wanted factory or aftermarket glass, Frank said: when can you be here? 45 mins later, I was there. 40 minutes after that, I was back on the road home, new factory glass installed professionally and affordably. I was driving along the freeway and passed a gravel truck then heard a *click*. Thought nothing of it until a few days later I was detailing the car and saw the windshield was cracked. Damn it, new car!! I was referred to DnB by a family friend who is an insurance agent and the owner helped me contact the right claims number, helped get the factory glass replaced with factory glass and accommodated my schedule. My windshield was broke these guys came out and replaced it about six months later needed to replace it again and he put the glue all the way down outside of the window. basically way too much glue. I was told by the new company that put the windshield in afterwords that it was a safety issue. Yeah the price was cheap but cheaper is not always the best my suggestion is to pay a little bit more money and get a quality job read more

Due to unfortunate luck, my vehicle was victim to a smash n grab in a nice area of Chicago. The thieves broke one of the back windows on my G37, stole electronics, laptop, documents, you know the story. I was reluctant to bring my car to any old place since it was a recent purchase and still had that 'new car smell'. I had something similar happen many years ago and I brought my car at that time to Gerber glass and they did a horrible job. I must have went back there 3 or 4 times. First the window didn't close all the way, then they decided to use a different brand window, and throughout the process never bothered to effectively remove the broken glass chips. I had glass chips falling out onto my driveway for weeks after replacement! So I hit Yelp, read some reviews, call around. The guys here assured me of a professional and satisfying experience over the phone, and based on timing and proximity I chose to bring my car over here. They did a fantastic job! The window was installed, operational, and vehicle cleaned within 45 minutes. They even honored my request to unhinge the back bench seat to vacuum any glass that might have gotten stuck there. Had my windshield replaced by safelite once, dont think they installed it properly because it cracked again. This time I decided to try DnB because they were close to me and had great reviews. Dealt with the owner Frank, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, but most importantly he went out of his way to be flexible. My wife and newborn had to go somewhere and I didn't feel comfortable having them drive the car while the windshield was broken, called Frank at 9 am, explained that my wife had to be somewhere at 3 and that she wouldnt be able to drive to his shop, he personally came by my house while I was at work and took care of it. He doesn't pressure you, is patient and clear over the phone and has great prices. Good guy who does great work! I highly, highly recommend D n B Auo Glass! To summarize, I contacted D n B about installing a windshield on my 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium. Safelite royally screwed up the installation of the windshield I needed replaced, so I contacted D n B about putting in the right windshield. Boy, am I glad I found them! Frank and his partner pointed out where Safelite screwed up (I would have never noticed some of the errors Safelite made, as trained technicians such as Frank and his partner showed me where they indeed screwed up, and explained in detail how they were going to fix Safelite's errors). The new windshield was installed, and it looks so, so great! Compared to Safelite, it's like night and day!! I offered to tip Frank for doing such a great, great job, but he would not take the money. I had a small crack in my windshield and after running the car through a car wash, the crack spread down my entire windshield. The combo of a cold day and the heater to dry the car at the end the wash made this happen....no fault to the car wash. But, needless to say, I panicked and had no idea how to fix! I was referred to D n B Auto Glass by the manager of the car wash. Frank was easy to work with, offered to drive out to my house to fix and I had a new windshield in 45 minutes!
