Took my Cadillac there for a simple oil change. I got the price on their website & scheduled my appointment online. When I got there I was told I didn't have an appointment- showed them the confirmation on my phone. The service writer pulls out a list of prices to tell me what the oil change will cost- it's 3x higher than the price on their website. They treated me like I was an idiot. Definitely will never go back. It's close to my house but I'd rather drive further and be treated better. read more

Went to a tire place to get the tires rotated, and they told they couldn't because the tires were mismatched and tires from 2015 and 2017! What an Experience!!! I went to this dealer simply looking at used cars. I was introduced to a very pleasant saleswoman named Fran. She was professional, pleasant, kind and helpful. She never pressured me and catered to my questions and needs. She did ask if I was interested in looking at a couple of Cadillac CT4 and CT5's that were used and before you knew it I was test driving a new CT5 and fell in love!!!! (With the car, not Fran) lol! I had been searching 2 weeks for a new Cadillac XT6. I literally traveled to 4 Dealerships and was exhausted. I finally thought I had found the best possible deal and remembered Heritage Cadillac from the time I lived in Lombard some 23 years ago. I was lucky enough to contact the new car Sales Manager Cody. I immediately felt comfortable and when he gave me his first offer it beat my previous best deal by hundreds of dollars. Cody put me in touch with Pernell one of his Salesman. There was no changing of the numbers just an honest friendly deal. When the paperwork started taking up more time then I had estimated Pernell had me see Eric their Finance Manager to speed up the process. Multiple attempts to bait and switch My wife and I visited today and met with Kyu Kim, she was pleasant to work with and she showed us around the Vistiq which both and my wife really liked. We were super impressed by the showroom model with upgraded rims and blue leather seats which was the Luxury Premium. We proceeded to drive a model that was Luxury Sport, it was great, but missing the bigger rims and blue seats. We left, pleasant experience up to this point. We left to go look at a few other models. Later in the afternoon, I emailed Kyu Kim and shared with her the Motorwerks was offering $$ for my trade and that I was really interested in the Luxury Premium model with blue seats and asked her what she could do . Unfortunately, Heritage was either unable or unwilling to match this trade in offer. It just so happens that Motorwerks also has a Caddy Dealer and they were interested in my trade for more money and happen to also sell the Vistiq. Rather then drive to Barrington Motorwerks, I got Heritage to meet close the price of Motorwerks for the trade, but still less for the trade. At this point, I decided to drive back to the dealer. Upon entering, Kyu Kim calls me, I said I am standing in front of you "it was funny" from here on out things fell apart. Kyu said this vehicle with the blue seats (outside her office) is this one you want right? Yes I replied, my wife loves it. She went out to say that she worked out some numbers, she could put it into a courtesy vehicle for 10 days and then she could give it to be for the same price she quoted me for the lessor model. I said GREAT. She even told me, they would be giving me some cash back on my trade (as I was putting it all to the lease payments) seemed great. She said, I would not be able to take the car for 10 days and I said what about my trade, she said its ok, you can bring it back in 10 days to finalize the deal. She leaves the office for 20 minutes, I call my wife and share the good news, she was excited for the upgrade. Kyu Kim comes back, and says she made a mistake, this vehicle will be much more money. I said, well I really do not want to pay more, lets me see the vehicle I came to purchase so we can finalize things (Sports Luxury Trim) she says ok, and this time, leave for more then 30 minutes. She finally comes back, and she is showing me all new pricing that is $8500 more. At this point, I am irritated and annoyed by the utter confusion. I said, I dont want to pay more for this vehicle, I am ready to take the original vehicle I came here for. She looks panicked and she says "its out on loan for the weekend". I said ok, how about the other one with beige interior, she says its also out on loan for the weekend. Shockingly on labor day weekend when they have big sales, they have their flagships all out on loaners. I was so annoyed at this point, sitting around in disbelief about how unorganized they are at this place. I walked out of her office outside and called my wife to say its was all a scam to try and get us into an even more expensive vehicle. Just a total waste of time. Kyu Kim comes outside to the lot and starts trying to pitch me on a entry level model, saying I can take it today. OMG. What started as a great experience turned into a terrible customer experience. Kyu Kim tried, but she was either trying to bait and switch me multiple times or she really was just lost in her thoughts. I am not sure we will ever visit Heritage again, nor whether or not we will proceed with another dealer for the Vistiq. Not a terrible experience, but not a good one either. We were shopping around for an XT6 -- ended up at Heritage. After doing our research and finding a vehicle we liked, the deal process began. Worked with Kim, who was lovely and accommodating. Had it only been Kim, we likely would have a new vehicle right now. We made it very clear that the dealership experience was something we would be factoring into our decision. As we began the paperwork, we noticed one of the manager hovering behind us and Kim's behavior shifted. We were then passed off to another colleague when we came back the next day. He shared a few condescending remarks from their manager. Then tried to pressure me into financing with the dealership even though I had a pre-approval letter from our bank. It became clear that this was not a dealership we were interested in doing business with. Would have to agree that the dealership feels very bait-and-switch. The owners may want to take a look at who they've promoted to management. I wonder how many other deals they've cost the dealership. read more

The service department is the worse,after 18 years of being a valued customer. The service department replaced my transmission in my Ct6 that was covered under my warranty, but the service department still charged me thousands of dollars for what they said uncovered tech hours that the warranty company had already paid..!! Three weeks later the transmission went out again, but Heritage Cadillac refused to correct the problem that they made, so I took my car to another Cadillac dealer that corrected the problem and gave me exceptional service. Never take your car to Heritage Cadillac for service,they are the worse..!! read more

Called the service department for a quote on a fuel filter for 2024 Cadillac Escalade Diesel ESV & was quoted $95.00 so I asked including labor? They said that's with labor if it's being performed during your oil change. While the vehicle is up in the air I'm told the new price for fuel filter is $235.00. I always go with the car dealer that makes it easy. I started with an inquiry on their website about a lease special for the XT5. Mike Perez quickly responded and ask what I needed clarification on. I told him what my questions were and he answered quickly and directly with NO BS. I told him I want to schedule pick up of the vehicle in a matter of hours. He stated no issues and was a great guide for how to get everything ready so I could quickly get in and out after purchase. They sorted the BEST price(Lease terms/cost/money down) that Naperville Cadillac was not even willing to talk about. They also got me in and out in under 2 hours(drive and sign) with my wife a new vehicle(surprise!) and she lived it!! Everyone there was super friendly(as you would expect at Cadillac-my second Cadillac), upfront and accommodating. Just the way I want to purchase a car. They followed my lead and that was great! I saw online that they were selling a used Tacoma at a reasonable price. I called up the dealer to let them know I was interested and be willing to put money down sight unseen if we could come to an agreement on the price. After a few phone calls back and forth we agree on an out the door price. Since it was going to finance the vehicle through then I go ahead and fill out the finance application. I get approved so I put down a couple thousand dollars and tell them I'm going to rearrange my schedule so that I'm able to pick it up that day. The salesman and manager Pete agree. A few hours go by and I get a phone call from the salesman telling me not to come by because they haven't finished safety checking it (which they charge you $425 to do and you have to pay it). He states that they found a rust hole on the frame. The salesman tells me it's going to be a day or two until they can take it to Toyota to have them check it out. I say cool no problem let me know what Toyota says. The next day I reach out to the sales guy, which he's really friendly, and ask where we are at with the issue. He lets me know that they are not allowed to sell me the vehicle with a hole in the frame so they have to refund meh money. Now this is where the one star review comes in to play. Why on earth you a dealership put a vehicle up for sale that is not allowed to be sold and why on earth would they waste someone's time during the purchasing process if they can't sell it. AND why would they take money along with running a credit report. This is very unprofessional! I do not blame the sales guy. I blame Pete and the rest of management. So if you're reading this Pete, I'd like an apology for wasting my time and trying to sell me a dangerous vehicle. read more

SOS!!!! Please stay away from the "Service Department"!!!!!!!! The Arrogance, Unprofessional Customer Service, the Dismissiveness was over the Top. I was mis-handled as customer. I made a reservation to have my car service and was promised, and again I use the word Promised/ guaranteed a loaner car. Upon arrival I was shuffled into the area to receive the loaner and placed in an office for over 15 mins alone. I finally walked out of that office and walked around until I located someone and asked for the person (Mary) who had previously scheduled the appointment for me and was told that she wasn't available. They paged (Ms. C) who came to the desk and had a verbal disagreement with the person who paged her saying, "Why are you paging me, I'm not the only one working. I'm with another customer." I was standing there like, wow! I'm standing here. I walked away and she followed and asked if there was anything she could help me with. Immediately she started looking for reasons why she wasn't the person to assist me but I informed her that I was brought to her office after checking my vehicle in. Ms. C shuffled me into her office and quickly informed me that my insurance doesn't cover loner cars and stood up and asked, if I would like a shuttle? I asked, why wasn't I informed the new insurance policies wasn't discuss with me at the time of the reservation. She just looked at me without saying anything and went back to assisting the customer that she was previously helping. My business schedule was totally dismantled and appointments and future opportunities missed. The lack of oversight and management is absolutely apparent with a heavy does of "I don't give a Damn!" Let's see if ownership cares enough to address, ie.. FIX this problem for me. I was told that Ownership had recently fired the Service Manager but this doesn't let them off the hook for this type of Piss Poor Customer service. It pains me to do this but I have to change my review of Heritage Cadillac. While I did have excellent experiences purchasing a vehicle there (2 of them over the past few years) having my vehicles serviced there ha been a completely different experience and I would not recommend anybody patronize them after they have attempted to rip off my wife on multiple occasions when she has brought the vehicles in by herself. We have a recent year Cadillac XT5 with about 40,000 miles on it. She took it in for an oil change today. The service writer told her the car is overdue for its 30k service and that she needed to have the brake fluid changed (bled and replaced) as part of normal 30k mile service. They also said that they needed to replace the nitrogen in the tires. Don't get me started on that scam and anyway they didn't come filled with nitrogen from the factory so nothing needs to be "replaced". And they wanted to do an alignment. There's nothing wrong with the alignment of the car. I just drove it 800 miles last week on a trip and the alignment is perfect. So after she refused the $1000 bogus 30k mile "standard required service" they did the oil change. Then when they gave the car back to her they told her that all four of her tires were bald and needed to be replaced. The tires are 2 years old. I And if in fact these Michelin's from the factory were worn out at this fast, why would we want to pay the dealer $1300 to replace them with the same factory garbage that's on them now? They pulled similar garbage on her last time she took her car in for an oil change. But replacing the brake fluid and nitrogen in the tires - are you kidding me? I couldn't let that go. I know that dealerships are hurting for service business because vehicles are much more reliable than they used to be . But really??? Goodbye Heritage Cadillac. You've lost 2 customers forever. read more

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Buyer, please be aware and stay from this dealership and auto services department because they are not helpful to any of their customers. I purchased my car from the liars Basil and John in September. They assured me that my car had 3 additional months under its manufacturer warranty (he even printed this information out during my initial visit to the dealership). However, this information was a lie because my manufacturer warranty expired in June 2023 (which Basil didn't deny not knowing). I called to asked why Basil (my original sales rep) lied, and his only unprofessional response was, "I did not lie and wasn't here during my car purchase transaction," despite me ensuring he had received his commission from this purchase. Beyond infuriated, I informed this sales department that my car had begun to have some serious mechanical issues, only 6 after days purchased, and if these are not resolved, they can take this car back, and I will take my business elsewhere. Not wanting to lose this sale, I was informed to bring my back in for services, which I complied, and I drove over an hour out my way, in which the services department kept my car for 3hours only to be informed by Brock, auto services manager that there's nothing wrong with my car but I needed my tires rotated. It's been over 14 days, and these mechanical issues are still persistent. And I've called back and left emails to both go unanswered. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this dealership because you will truly regret it, I have! read more

Stay away from this dealer. Terrible service department. I recently came for service on my XT5. The service advisor was completely disrespectful and treated me like a kindergartner. My 1 year old car has a problem with the audio system and instead of listening to me to try to understand the problem he disregarded what I was explaining and said it was normal that the whole system just does not work about every dozen times the car is turned on. I come from Audi and Lexus where they treat you so well all through the buying process and service. It is unfortunate that Heritage Cadillac hires such low end service advisors and managers. I am really trying to go back to buying American and this Cadillac dealership is making it very hard. Definitely bring your business somewhere else. read more

I went to get copy's of my keys to my truck and everyone was so nice and great customer service I experience. The guy that helped us get the keys explain how to program the new keys to my truck, very easy! I will be going back if I need anything else for my truck. 2.19.19. I just went in again for my new truck and Mark was awesome! He greeted me right away and help me out with any questions I need. Kept me informed at all times and I even got a text message saying if I needed anything to please text him back for assistance! I will keep going them always for any of my Cadillac needs! This is hands down the worst dealership to bring your car in for service! I bought my ATS here and have been back multiple times for either routine service or warranty work. At least 3 oil changes in and they never filled the windshield fluid. The service tech and mechanic lied to me about filling my tires with air when they were the same low pressure as when i brought it in. Recently I had warranty work done and was dissatisfied with the service so go my next oil change I went to a different dealer. All the warranty work Heritage did was half done m. They reused the original gaskets and I was leaking oil all over the place because they refused to use new 10cent parts. I will never go back here for service or purchase again! read more

This place is the reason Yelp needs to implement a ZERO stars rating. The worst customer service I have ever recieved, seen or heard about. I went in on 11/7/13 to get a factory recalled headlight replaced on my '09 CTS. 1.) I was originally quoted a price of $215.. Why are you quoting me prices on manufacturer recalls? 2.) They replaced my light with a different non matching light!!!!! 3.) When I confront them about the light being different, I was told by the service manager to "shut up". 4.) After minutes of babbling on they finally agree to replace the light, but they'll have to get the part in.. so despite the fact the service manager had told me to shut up, I extended my hand to him to shake on it and the Service manager again was rude and walked straight away from my extended hand. I would have immediately gone to the General Manager to speak to him about the awful service but THEY DON'T HAVE A GENERAL MANAGER! Before you go here , grab a hot poker and gauge yourself in the eye, the experience will be more pleasant!!!! **UPDATE: Today is 3/27/14.
