These guys are great. They don't yank your chain or try to sell you what you don't need. I have a wooded yard and when I moved in there was a bad problem with waterbugs (those big ugly roach-like things) They not only sold me a product that worked (and still does) but they also hooked me up with a sprayer thing too that is still working years later. They took the time to explain why the roach spay I'd been using wasn't even fazing the critters. Today I called because stink bugs are showing up. As usual the fellow who answered the phone took the time to hear me and asked an intellegent question, gave me a great answer. I will take his advice and fully expect great results. My order was lost in shipping or possible stolen. USPS stated it was delivered, there appears to be some magical time when you have to respond back saying the package did not arrive. Because when I asked if they could send out a replacement quickly, they stated it would go back out standard shipping. To me this is unacceptable, I have been a customer a while and everything usually goes smoothly but I think you really find out what a company is made of when there is a problem. I stated you could either expedite my order back or issue me a refund. They chose to issue me a refund back to my card (not on my card as of yet (going on 4 days). basically called several times to make sure the delivery timing would fit-and they still shipped it out 3 days later-so don't believe them if you are in a rush, than was shipped without pieces that made the product usuable to me. The customer service at this "Do It yourself" Pest Control location is unacceptable! One worker in particular is rude, not to mention demeaning, and unprofessional. He pushes merchandise on you, without even being given the chance or encouraged to ask questions. I was treated like I was an incompetent idiot. When I summoned up courage to ask questions, I was told that he''d been in the business, and that he "knew what he was talking about!" The whole experience was horrifying. They over price their items, and do not even offer a return policy for items that were tried, however, did not render the results stated on package. I tried to return an item that I had tried, but did not render the stated results! When I mentioned I wanted to return the item, I was asked if the item had been opened. I said, "Yes!" I had to try the item, and see if it would work! How else would I have known if it worked or not?" I was told I could not return the item, because it had been opened, and one packet had been used. The disclaimer on the receipt states: "Returns will be accepted within 30 days of original purchase, provided the product being returned is undamaged, in original packaging, and accompanied by this proof of purchase receipt." Nowhere in their disclaimer did they mention anything about not being able to return items that were opened. "Damaged" and "Opened" are two very different words, with very different meanings. I then expressed my disgust with their business etiquette, and this one particular guy told me to take my business elsewhere, and get out of his store. I mentioned I needed to buy a different product, and I stated, "the least you could do is give me this product, (which was half of the price of the item I was trying to return) for free. The rude and disrespectful guy said, "That's what you want! Take the product and get out of my store, and don't come back!" I was so stunned by the level of unprofessionalism and ugliness, that I simply stated, "You're unbelievable!" and walked out of the store! You're lucky I'm not mentioning your name...you know who you are. You shouldn't have the privilege of working with people, because you treat them like dirt! I cannot recommend this company. I ordered Taurus SC thru their online store on a Monday and was assured I would receive it by Wednesday no later than Thursday. I needed it by Friday and I was very explicit about it. I called on Friday and was informed I would not receive it until the middle of the following week. I bought an expensive sprayer from them. I got the sprayer home and it was missing parts. Their answer was to contact the manufacturer and maybe they would give me the parts or a new one. Maybe coming into the store is a good way to purchase things.. maybe. I bought things off their website on a Saturday evening and by Sunday my card information had been stolen, cloned and money was being spent in Riverdale, Savannah, & Atlanta. When calling the company to let them know, they claimed that I could not know it was their business and that they have tons of security in place. Then I pointed out the fact that their business is located in Atlanta and my card information was being used very close to there. Then they ask me to send my emails from my bank to them... Ummmm no. My credit card info was already stolen. I explained to him that a lot of times it is people within the company that clone cards and sell them on the street, yet again that idea was shot down immediately. As far as I am concerned, no matter whether they wanted to believe it was their company, they should have been very apologetic, offered my products for free ( a whole $17 worth) and told me they would look into it and make sure that it wouldn't happen again. With them being so defensive about it all it makes me question the business even more. But it is clear that this location is where my card was compromised and I will not buy anything else from them! read more
