I could barely walk or get in and out of a chair without severe pain. I had initially visited a chiropractor, who did nothing but use handheld 'thumping devices' for pain relief which did absolutely nothing. I met with Kyunghee No, LAC and she immediately put me at ease and had a easy going personality. I told her this my first acupuncture experience and that I was a chicken when it came to needles. She laughed and put me at ease and said I wouldn't feel a thing. She was right. Seeing as how my back pain was so severe, she had me lay on my back vs my stomach and began applying the needles to various parts of my body. After about thirty minutes of laying on the table looking like a porcupine, she returned and began removing the needles. She then gave me some PT to work on to help loosen up the tight muscles in my back. I got off the table feeling somewhat better then went I first got on the table. Though this is my first visit to City of Joy Herb and Accupuncture Clinic, I was thoroughly impressed with her demeanor and personality.
