August is amazing! I was diagnosed with long COVID and functional neurological disorder and have been battling basic functions like walking and tremors. I have gone to a bunch of specialists, PT, MRIs, meds and other tests. I wasn't getting any better so I was like I guess I'll try acupuncture. I was skeptical at first but I'm so glad I did! Full disclosure I only had 1 visit but that's all I needed to see that this was never going to go anywhere. 1. He claims his 1st visit is about 45 minutes to a hour which it was but more than half the time he talked about nothing. Not my back issue, insurance or anything productive but just casual talk as I sat there and silently listened. 2. He claimed that his services would be 100% covered after looking at what health insurance I had. I was sent a bill today for $50 insurance only paid half. 3. When I 1st walked in he was not wearing a mask with his previous client and only put one on when he saw me wearing one. He sits close to you, pulls down his mask to talk, and the mask never covers his nose so what's the point? 4. This was the biggest reason for me not returning which was him talking about himself. I can't stand when someone talks themselves up I prefer to see it in action. Also whenever someone repeatedly tells me I need to make at least 8 appointments to truly see a effect (he said this so many times for such a short visit) I really starts to make you wonder if it really does or are you just trying to lock in at least 8 appointments? read more

This was my first acupuncture experience and must say I'm satisfied with the results. I came in with a migraine that was going on for about 2 weeks and my pain level was at a 9 but after Augusto seen me on my first visit that pain level subsided to about a 2. I was referred to Augusto Romano by my Doctor about 20 years ago. I was told by two Doctors that I needed back surgery. I refused, so my Doctor suggested acupuncture. After a couple of visits my pain level went way down. I continued to go, and I got back to normal. I had a really bad fall about 10 years ago, and had a spine injury. Doctor wanted me to have surgery. I said no thank you and went back to Augusto. He fixed that issue as well. I had problems with my knees from a torn meniscus. I refused that surgery also. Augusto helped me then, and he also has helped me with smaller issues over the years such as anxiety, digestion, arthritis, and pain management.
