Dr. Schirmer's office has appointments as late as 4:00. My favorite thing about this office is the very soothing Brazilian jazz and bossa nova music (I swear) and the big screens with meditative beach scenes. I get stressed at the dentist and Dr. S's does a lot to reduce that stress. He also talks very calmly and softly and explains everything that he is going to do, why, when, and how. He doesn't make you feel like a baby if you ask for a moment to de-stress now and then through a long procedure. He's patient.
