    Flight with 4 wines.

I went here on a random winter Friday in January. Bryan was super friendly and it was literally just me in the tasting room but it was very relaxing. The vibe was so nice even though it was windy out. I got to just chill by the window and do my flight and sip on a glass of their tasty cab franc. Highly recommend, any time of the year. They are open Fridays during Jan/Feb which is one of the few vineyards open this time of the year.

Dobbins Creek is a hidden gem in the Yadkin Valley. Probably one of the more secluded wineries in the area you can be sure to sit back, relax, and enjoy delicious wine. Not to mention the spectacular view! Charles is extremely kind and really knows the wines! I am an absolute fan of their dry reds. Specifically their 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon and my other favorite is their Ram Cat Red! If you are in the Yadkin Valley and looking for delicious wine and a spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery- Dobbins Creek is the place for you!!

Ok, bear with me as I'm playing catch up on a few reviews! :) I visited Dobbins Creek on November 17th. My girlfriend and I were popping around a few Yadkin vineyards, and this one had the most GORGEOUS views!! To add compliment upon compliment, their wine was delicious as well!! I really enjoyed the rose! After a very well done tasting (complete with Cheez-its - yum!) we bought a couple of bottles to take home, bought a glass to enjoy there, and stretched out on their lovely porch with its expansive views to kick back and relax! I will DEFINITELY be recommending this place to fellow winery lovers, and I'd love to come back! :)

Located in a little rustic cabin at the end of a gravel road. This place is not exactly easy to find. From what I remember from the tasting, this place is truly a boutique winery as they only grow vines on a small part of their land. As for the wine, i liked their semi-dry red and the rieslings (dry and semi-sweet). I tend to like the lighter, sweeter stuff, and those fit the bill. They have some dry reds for people on the other end of the spectrum.

Lovely serene setting and very nice wines. We purchased their dry riesling and a bottle of rose to enjoy on the porch while we struck up a nice conversation with other folks, both visiting and local/family. Open year round with a big fireplace for the winter. I would happily return.

Ah, Charles! Runs the winery and is such a sweetheart. I went here with my sister, who hangs out quite often. They have a beautiful wine tasting room with hardwood floors and beautiful high ceilings... and you can enjoy your glass(es) of wine out in a rocking chair on their front porch which has close to 270 degree views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Brushy Mountains. Gorgeous rolling farmland surrounds this beautiful winery, with it's tasting room up on a hill. You MUST try their blackberry wine with chocolate........... oh my word! So good!

Love the wine here and the atmosphere. Always enjoy coming and have a glass or bottle with friends on the porch. My favorite wine here is the merlot.

We tried another new muscadine wine this weekend that was released in between our last visit - Plum Crazy - which is a red muscadine wine with plum and edible glitter! It was our favorite wine of the day in our wine flight. Wines We Love: Plum Crazy - Plum muscadine wine. White Sangria - Good fruity sweet wine, perfect for the summer! Crystal Dreams - Strawberry muscadine wine. Cherry Smash - I definitely get tart cherry, not as sweet as the other sweet wines they have, but still enjoyable. Summer Breeze - A nice light sweet white wine. Windsorberry - A nice light sweet blueberry wine. Apple Mead - Apples and cinnamon. Enjoyable, but I have to be in the mood for this one as it is not an everyday wine for me. Snow Cream - Vanilla muscadine wine. You can definitely taste the vanilla, but I really enjoyed sipping on this on a warm day. Another one I have to be in the mood for as it is not an everyday wine for me. Fortified Wines We Love: Midnight Run/Midnight Run Grand Reserve - You can definitely taste the difference in these and we prefer the Grand Reserve, but both are very good. Hillbilly Holiday Honey Moon (This has not been in rotation in awhile, so I'm not sure if it will be made again). They also offer great slushies which can be part of the wine flight. My husband did the distillery tour this time and he really enjoyed the background information plus the samples that he got to try. They give you tips for pairing as well. Service is always great when we come - they are dog friendly! Highly recommend this winery if you are in the area.

There was no option to have a tasting without a souvenir wine glass, which we don't need another one. I would suggest that they have water available especially when drinking wine in the hot summer heat.
