We had an interesting experience with this company. We needed a bathroom sink drain cleared, and called our plumber. He was unable to clear it, and even got his snake caught for over an hour. We contacted Doc Drain at the plumber's suggestion. They came and tried to clear the galvanized pipe, and in the failing process, left their snake jammed into the pipe. They gave up. Gave me a bill in excess of $500, BLAMING ME for having galvanized pipe and breaking their snake. So we were worse off than before they came and out $$. And the boss said he will never come back! (That was the best part of episode). Find somebody else to do your drains with competence, experience, ability to finish a job that may be challenging, and doesn't blame the client when things go wrong!! read more

After a large party our kitchen drain was completely clogged. I attempted to plunge and then snake it myself but got nowhere. I called Doc Drain in the late evening, thinking I'd get an answering machine, but spoke to Andrew and arranged an appointment the next morning. We found the master bath and sink drains on the second story of our 2 story 28 year old house clogged. Being fairly handy and having a 10 foot snake, I attempted to clear the clog but was unsuccessful. We heard about Doc Drain from our neighbor. Doc Drain's Andrew arrived in less than a half hour after our call and this a Sunday.To his and our surprise the clog was further along than his longest cleanout tool. As a 52 year resident of Yorktown Heights I lived in the same house all these years and many times over that time Ive had to deal with clogged drains. As with a lot houses I got teenage kids and that always spells trouble especially teenage girls meaning I got a daughter and her friends throwing tampons in the toilet. Not Good! Last time I called Roto Rooter who wanted $600. Then I called a couple of other so called 24 hour drain service companies who didn't even answer the phone. Finally I got a name from my friend who swore by Doc Drain. He told me he uses Andrew of Doc Drain all the time, so out of frustration and desperation I called Doc Drain. OMG best recommendation ever. Not only did Doc Drain (Andrew) come over right away but he spent a lot of time here cleaned my drain all the way to the road and charged me one third of what anyone else wanted. And he had a helper with him so I paid a cheap price for 2 guys working, Waaaaay cheaper then in the past for just one guy! No lie, his prices are not only the cheapest by far but his work was by far the best. He is a smart young hungry guy, I like that! Now if he could only do carpentry too...wink ..
