    barbecue and garlic parmesan wings
    Aubrey P.

Doc Lankys is a fun bar restaurant with great food and nightlife. I ordered the wings and they were delicious. My friends ordered the chicken sandwich and chicken tenders and we thought the chicken was very high-quality and flavorful. The environment was entertaining, and they even had a performer playing live music. My only complaint about this restaurant was that upon entry my friends and I all agreed that it smelled of urine which was offputting. Other than that, our service was great, the food was delicious, and we had a great time so I would definitely consider returning in the future.

The food is great! We got the happy hour fries with mozzarella, marinara, and garlic parm. And a chicken sandwich. The service is friendly, efficient, and attentive! Try this place!

Great wings and pizza. Plenty of TV's for watching sports. Very reasonable prices. Nice neighborhood bar.

Very good, but we need to go later on dusting next time. We also got a brown sugar rice crispy treat which we got one to split and then we ended up getting a second one because it was so good. It's a cute little place right near the lake with white brick walls, a casual atmosphere, and phenomenal service. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat right away. Our waitress truly went above and beyond for us, making our visit feel extra special!! Everything is so fresh here--they even make their own pretzels and sandwich bread from scratch! We shared a Soft Pretzel served with house-made brown butter cream cheese which was absolutely delicious. For mains, I got the Cheese Steak Dip and my husband got the Surf & Turf. Highly recommend checking them out!

I got their version of the meat lover's pizza and they really do load up the toppings...seriously! The crust is sweet and chewy, but not too chewy. Great sausage, and the pepperoni had to be real pork. The cheese was plentiful. Love this place. It was a bit of a drive, but I'll definitely be back. They make excellent home-made cannolli too! The ingredients again are quality ingredients. Traditional filling which was excellent. The shell is a bit soft, but that's to be expected unless they fill it to order, which most places don't. But that's ok. Excellent!

Checking in on us, so and so. When me and my family entered the pub, this kind young lady greeted us and asked us how many was in our party. I think she had dyed hair, and I don't know her name either, but she was very kind and helpful. The food is also amazing here!! I tried the Irish breakfast and it was very good. It was big portion wise, but to me that's a good thing. Our food came out quick, fresh and hot. We also got seated at a corner table near one of the entrances/exits and the corner tables ate so cute! I love the stools, and the interior design of the place.

My group were supposed to go to Habesha Ethiopian restaurant for dinner and book club but they were closed so we found ourselves at PJ's Irish Pub. AMBIANCE -- Dimmer light but not too dark inside. Typical, traditional bar look and feel. Lots of booth tables plus a center bar area with chairs around it. DRINKS -- I don't drink alcohol so I can't comment on their drink offerings but considering that this is an Irish Pub, they must have lots of options to choose from such as beer. FOOD -- Their menu is large with dishes such as pot pie, tacos, meatloaf, etc. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I just ordered 2 beef tacos that came with tomatoes but I forgot to ask for it to come without cheese. So, I had to remove the shredded cheese from it. There was a lot of cheese on the tacos too. The tacos were fine - simple enough and the beef tasted just right. This pub is probably more known for their drinks but I may be wrong. Everyone on my table seemed to enjoy their dinner. I noticed someone ordered meatloaf, another for a chicken pot pie, another had a big plate of broccoli with something else (the broccoli looked tasty), and so on. SERVICE (5/5) -- our group was treated well. We were greeted upon walking in plus our server took our orders at a reasonable time. PARKING -- Not the best like most places in the area because it is street parking only but I was very lucky to find a street parking spot right in the front of the pub. You can probably park at the shopping district parking lot across the street where a gas station is located. Overall, although I wasn't expecting to even visit PJ McIntyre's Irish Pub on that cold January evening, it was a nice enough experience (mostly FUN because of the book club group rather than the food). The beef tacos that I ordered were fine and a fair price (around $6.50 total). I most likely won't be back since I don't drink alcohol and I hardly visit pubs or bars for dinner. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 11/250 total reviews in 2026 - 852 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 February 2026
