I ended up with the Shrimp, Spinach and cheese, Hawaiian, and BBQ pork. Everything was well seasoned and balanced. Their versions of the chimichurri sauce and salsa golf complimented the empanadas nicely. I was looking online for the nearest empanadas and I came across 12 doce they had 4.9 reviews and I decided to give a try and I am glad I did. The location has plenty of parking which I look forward to when I'm tryin to enjoy and good place to eat. The place is clean and it gives the feel of a nice cafe where you can sit comfortably and even play some old fashioned board games who doesn't love those! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the owner, who even recognized that it was my first time he was very friendly i couldn't ask for a better welcoming gesture. I already had a idea of what kind of empanadas I wanted so I ordered ,buffalo chicken , cheese ,beef and spinach with cheese oh and a churro ! They are made to order so please ordered ahead or have a sit and enjoy the music they don't take long but don't look for old cold or just warm empanadas because this ones are nicely hot! They smell great and taste delicious and the crust is crispy and once you bite into it you taste the seasoning, they're not greasy and I love that ! So we like them so much that we went back a second time (this is my new spot) this time I order the chicken and again made fresh smell delicious and the chicken was tender seasoned and they don't skip on meat the empanadas are filled with meat ! As I sit in Quarantine trying to find a way to get food other than the norm, I come across Doce and WOW, what a find. I called to verify delivery and the owner not only agreed to deliver, but said he would deliver to my hotel himself. I ordered a few Beef and a few Chicken and All I can say is OMG they are incredible. Delivery was fast and the owner was really nice and without asking also gave me some of the Delicious Chimichurri Sauce. Not only are the empanadas reasonably priced, if you buy 12 you get 3 free which makes it even more reasonable if you are stocking up. A lot of empanada places (even expensive ones) they taste like they came from a factory. But this place tastes home cooked and like a lot of effort and love went into each empanada. Plus they took the time to label each one (which I have never seen any place do before); usually when you order a variety of flavors it is a crap shoot which one you are about to eat. Every time I call the owner says "its just me and my wife so I cannot delivery today." Makes it very hard for people who do not have cars, and they advertise that they delivery. The one time I got it delivered, they forgot the sauces. I called them and asked if they could bring it, but the owner said they were too busy and he would do something for me the next time I came in. The next time I went in he pretended to not remember, when it was only a week before. He did nothing for me. Very bad customer service.
