I was excited when this bakery had just opened a few years ago! They serve baked goods as well as meals, drinks, desserts, and snacks. The quality of the food is commendable and I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a result. The food is well made and not oily. I have had Chuleta de Pollo several times and it never disappoints. I also love their empanadas and Pan De Bono bread. Only commenting on the empanadas since that's what we ordered. Beef, chicken and Hawaiian.... The beef and chicken were normal corn empanadas and really good but the Hawaiian was not good. They either used old burnt oil to cook it or they used old wheat empanada discs. It was super greasy and the inside looked like they just took ham rolled it up with some pineapple and cheese that was just melting out like butter. I came here to get some empanadas for me and my hubby. They had a few flavors such as chicken, beef, chorizo, hawaiian and cheese. They ranged from $2-3 and were so good. My boyfriend and I were impressed by how tasty they were. They accept card and cash which is good but they charge a fee i believe to use a credit card. I recommend this new Colombian place for your Colombian cravings. Come here instead of going to Hempstead or Jackson Heights for your Colombian cravings. read more

They are fresh clean and fairly new in the area. And I am not Colombian but my friend is so she introduces me to her food and in love with the breads. Before I get into the details about this bakery's baked goods. I considered myself and my family a loyal customer of theirs, as we would always purchase goods from Bella's bakery. However after my encounter with them, I can honestly say they lost our support and I will never go back there again. My brother placed an order and my father placed an order of the same thing, not knowingly. When they found out they wanted to cancel one of their orders. When we called Bella's we spoke to a man named Javier, employee, who stated he couldn't cancel the order and refund us the money. He reported that he is not the owner therefore he doesn't have the authority to do that. He said he spoke to the owner, who was in florida at the time, about our situation. He said the owner is refusing to cancel one of our orders and will not refund us our money. We reiterated again to him that there was a miscommunication. Again , Javier said there was nothing he can do as he cannot sell the order of bunuelos because they were closed on Christmas Day and the bunuelos would be old on Sunday. Javier reiterated everything they sell is fresh . Mind you my father along with many other individuals I know have bought old baked goods for a cheaper prices as advertised by Bella's employees. They tell their customers certain goods are old and they can purchase it for a cheaper price. So why couldn't they do that with the order of bunuelos that we cancelled ? I was taken back by their lack of work ethic and empathy. Also, do you know how many times they have sold us burnt baked goods like pandebono? Yesterday we ordered 4 pandebono and they were burnt , flat, and greasy . We didn't even complain or asked for our money back but we could've made a big deal out of it but we're understanding to the point that not everything they sell is going to be perfect . But hey Some owners get carried away with greed. I will make sure to spread the around so people can stay away from this business and gluttonous owner read more

BEWARE.. their service is horrible i've been here numerous of times and i realized if you're a man they will give you all the attention i waited on line and they ignored me but proceeded to take the gentleman behind me order so i politely said it was my turn i've been waiting over 10 mins to be served and she rolled her eyes.. so i walked out no business deserve my money if your going to be rude. Remind you this isn't the first time they would ignore me i had multiple issues with different workers but similar behavior. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt but once again they proven to me they're UNPROFESSIONAL. And before anyone says anything I'm always respectful and polite it's them being envious of females for whatever reason. will not go back fuck this place ... respectfully!! i'll continue to go to the one on meacham ave where their workers are super friendly. One star just i can say my piece. My coworker always gets his lunch from here! So i finally had the time to stop by and give it a try myself! .. you know when you walk in a place and the person looks at you like, " you want to buy food here?" Yea.. i ignored my gut feeling .. and decided to browse.. not being acknowledged by worker... another customer walks in after me and was helped right away.. she purchased some empanadas.. again i ignored my gut feeling and went ahead to order! Duspie the lack of any kind on umph.. i placed my order.. only to be told that they were all out of beef empanadas!! So rude! Another customer observed the whole situation and was obviously embarrased by how rude this woman was.. began to tell me that they have chicken ones left however with this kind of customer service i wouldn't buy it if it was stuffed with gold. The customer service is very unpleasant and you don't even get greeted upon walking in. The food was super greasy and just lacked flavor the dish I was served was lazy and i felt sick right after eating it. It's sad cause their aren't lots of Good Colombian spots on the east side of queens. read more
