(not joking at all) mid-day and the blond bartender (Taylor I think) was dismissive and interjecting her opinion in a conversation she was not part of. 2 hot dogs with usual fixings (relish, onions etc.) = $17 2 Margarita served in a 10 ounce plastic cup @ $15ea = $30 10 bone in (overcooked) chicken wings @$1.50ea. = $15 Cajun Fries (that had zero spice / flavor) good amount = $8 Add an expected tip 20% and $70+$5tax+$14tip = $89 Yipe! Came today before 2 pm. Waited to be seated apx 5 minutes, approached the outside older bartender and she said "take any table" so we chose the 2nd table from the end outside the covered bar area on the water. After 20 minutes of no one bringing menus, I approached her (older bartender) at the bar for help. At first she ignored me, serving other guests, not making eye contact. Finally I said "excuse me", we followed your directions however no server has stopped by. It was obvious they were short staffed. Apx 5 minutes later our server arrived who said she just got there. After 2 pm so odd. Regardless she was apologetic, friendly and took our complete order. We have been here a lot so we know to tell them absolutely everything you will need. I mean order your food, ask for salt/pepper/extra napkins ketchup Tabasco extra plates if sharing an appetizer or you probably won't get it lol. For lunch we order wings with hot honey and a cheesesteak sub with fresh jalapeños and a side salad no fries. What we got was a cheesesteak with pickled jalapeños and cold fries and wings with no sauce . Our server fixed the issues. Nice spot right on the water. Nice cool breeze while enjoying dinner next to the fire pit. Was able to bring my dog out by the patio. Started with calamari and fried pickles, the calamari was pretty bland, but the fried pickles were good. Not too greasy. First time eating here, and won't be the last time. I have driven past this place everyday going to work. The parking lot is always packed. If that doesn't give you a sign of great food, I don't know what else will. So I decided to finally give it a try! Great food, great views right on the Housy. I really like that this place supports local! With that historic flood that happened 10 days ago, Dock 34 had the staff from the 67 diner working with them! Support each other! They honored all first responders with a free tab. I commend this restaurant for their amazing service and supporting local staff and other organizations affected by the flood! The food is mouth-watering delicious! Their philly egg rolls were really good. I had the Cali burger and sweet potato fries! The burger patty is cooked to perfection-medium well. Food quality / price (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is casual riverside. This was our first visit here. This is a seasonal outdoor venue operating from April through October or November depending on the weather. They have a large outdoor bar area that can be closed in and heated if necessary, and a very large patio area along the shore of the Housatonic River. There are docks available for about 6 boats, and plenty of parking. The menu offers pub style food, hand held sandwiches and burgers, wraps, a few entrees, and other "roadside" foods. They have a limited number of draught beers. This place looks like it's a lot of fun, and they have things happening every night including games, karaoke, and live entertainment on weekends. I had a Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, and substituted a very large bowl of cole slaw for fries. The wrap was very good, and had a decent amount of chicken. The wife had a Chicken Quesadilla that was large and she stated that it was very good. The restrooms were very clean and nice. The service was very good. read more

We went there to check it out to possibly rent space for an event. The food was good, but it took a long time to get. Staff were slow moving and really not too interested in helping guests. We had made an appointment with the "event planner", but without any notification prior to that day, she was unavailable. The outdoor space is very nice and we were looking to rent it for our event. They do not have food packages, but when we finally connected with one another, we put a package together that was reasonable and wanted to book. That's where it went downhill! The event planner sent the contract in an email which included pricing and what was needed for a deposit. Several attempts were made to contact this "event planner" in order to finalize the details, but we were ghosted! She finally called and when I returned the call two minutes after the phone rang, her phone went directly to voice mail. Apparently, when her phone gets a call that is not in her contact list, it goes right to voice mail, which is okay, but once you get a call, listen to your messages and respond to it. If you are trying to acquire business for the restaurant, you NEED to be available. I called a few more times and nothing. After a month, we received an email asking if we were still interested in booking the event, REALLY!! Unfortunately, they lost our business. It would have been a great place to have a party, but not being attentive to your customers builds doubt on whether everything would have turned out successful. read more

If you have a boat, come dock it on a slip. They have a fire pit you can sit by and eat or by the bar. The food was very good. We ordered the Lobster Bisque, Stuffed Clams, Hot Dog w/ fries, and Fish and Chips. Lobster Bisque had good flavor, however, was lacking the main ingredient, Lobster! My daughter enjoyed her hot dog and fries. The chicken Quesadilla was flavorful. The Fish and Chips were delicious. I love my fried fish! This fish was flaky. The batter was crispy, airy. The tartar sauce complimented the fish very well. The 1 was for two reasons. The waitress that took our order, then goes to the table next to us and takes their order. A few mins later she comes back with drinks and silverware. In the meantime, we wait forty five minutes for the food. I hear the waitress giving the table next to us saying," hear are you're stuffed clams...". Then proceed to our table, letting us know the kitchen is backed up with orders. She then tells" food will be out in a few more minutes. Unfortunately we ran out of the special, stuffed clams. Can I get you something else?" We then get our food after 45/50 mins. this place could have potential but there were so many red flag I seen from the beginning. first thing first came in at 8:30pm they close at 11pm. Once being sat exactly at 8:31 no one acknowledged or greeted us until 8:49pm. It was not busy and most patrons were leaving. The young lady that did greet us because she watched the interaction was actually off shift and decided to come back on to pick our table up. Anywho the menu is very mediocre and I just was not happy with the wait. In addition the buzzer threw my food away even after telling him I needed a TOGO container. when explaining to him I wanted my food he proceeded to grab it out the bucket where they collect finished dishes. We have been here three times and each time leave disappointed for some reason. Our first time the service was horrendous. They had just opened, so we knew there were some kinks to work out. The service did improve during our two other visits, however each visit we are disappointed in the lackluster food. There is nothing outstanding and nothing that will keep us going back for more. Great location! We had fun having a couple drinks and appetizer here. The location is lovely with tables along the river, a pavilion and even some seating by a campfire! They had live acoustic music which was so nice and all the staff were very nice. Great place to pull up in a boat with what looks like a brand new dock. All outside seating as well. Gave 4 stars because my $12 moscow mule was just ok and served in a plastic cup (as were all the drinks) and the service was just ok. I had to seek out napkins and go to the bar to pay the bill. We shared the corn dip appetizer which was good. Great place for a casual drink and dinner. There was a comment from another reviewer on the waitstaff clothing and yes, they were all wearing short tight shorts, like you would see at a gym. Not a large draft beer selection, the waitress named only 4 beers, which was a bit disappointing since it's a "bar and grill". Choices weren't even good. Add something like Sea Hag or Counterweight Headway and I'll definitely be back more. I ordered a Two Roads Lil Heaven and it came in a tiny plastic cup. Slow, slow, slow!!!! We were seated at 5:30 our 1 app didn't come out until 6:35 and we didn't get our meals until 7:20. I spoke with Justin the manager/owner to indicate this was completely unacceptable service and his only response was that "we should take one to the chest". We try to visit and support local but in return would like customer service at the very least. Went on Friday, thought it would be a great way to start the Memorial Day weekend. The service at the bar was absolutely horrible. Bartenders did not even look up to acknowledge someone was standing there. It took me 20 minutes to finally have someone come over and ask if I wanted something! I was handed my bottle and a dirty glass. My friend met me there, she then waited another 15 minutes, no one even looked our way, even when we politely said excuse me. The food is good and the place is very clean and I love that we can sit outside by the river. However, My husband and I went there with our six kids, and when I saw the waitresses wearing shorts going up the crack of their butts, I was embarrassed seeing my teenage sons staring at them. Don't get me wrong, I get it. In order for them to make good tips, sometimes you have to dress to impress, but I think that their attire is more for a Gentlemans club and not for a restaurant where families will be bringing their kids. Unless the waitresses dress more appropriately, only me and my husband will go there, but I will not bring my kids. My boyfriend and I went for di ner to sit outside on this beautiful river views sitting outside by the water. We were pleasantly greeted upon entering. We chose a Tae by the water. Pleasant waitress took our order. Now the worse that has happened to me at any easier I've attended: I received coffee in a nice large mug which I was very impressed until I saw lip impressions on the mug. Immediately pointed this out to the waitress, she apologized, left for to rectify the situation. After she left, my thought process was, I'm not sure I can drink the coffee when she returns.
