    Fried pickles

Nice spot right on the water. Nice cool breeze while enjoying dinner next to the fire pit. Was able to bring my dog out by the patio. Started with calamari and fried pickles, the calamari was pretty bland, but the fried pickles were good. Not too greasy. I got the crispy chicken wrap with Cajun fries, was satisfactory for a quick bite. It wasn't busy and service was good, everything was brought out at a reasonable time.

Phenomenal tucked away on the river in Seymour! Great folks making great food! Takeout tonight was 3 lobster rolls and an order of fried pickles. I put their lobster roll up against anyone around! Family and friend vibe. The band was setting up and the crowd was already assembled at 6 PM.

We have been back for dinner and they exceeded our expectations! Food was served promptly and was very good. The place was very crowded but well staffed. We did not wait long at all for any service, food or beverages. It was a nice summer's evening looking over the river while enjoying the lobster roll and fish and chips.

First time eating here, and won't be the last time. I have driven past this place everyday going to work. The parking lot is always packed. If that doesn't give you a sign of great food, I don't know what else will. So I decided to finally give it a try! Great food, great views right on the Housy. I really like that this place supports local! With that historic flood that happened 10 days ago, Dock 34 had the staff from the 67 diner working with them! Support each other! They honored all first responders with a free tab. I commend this restaurant for their amazing service and supporting local staff and other organizations affected by the flood! The food is mouth-watering delicious! Their philly egg rolls were really good. I had the Cali burger and sweet potato fries! The burger patty is cooked to perfection-medium well. The burger was a good size too! Definitely worth it! My husband had the Dock 34 burger. He said that burger was massive but sooo good! If you like a good burger, check this place out! It will NOT disappoint!

Food quality / price (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is casual riverside. This was our first visit here. This is a seasonal outdoor venue operating from April through October or November depending on the weather. They have a large outdoor bar area that can be closed in and heated if necessary, and a very large patio area along the shore of the Housatonic River. There are docks available for about 6 boats, and plenty of parking. The menu offers pub style food, hand held sandwiches and burgers, wraps, a few entrees, and other "roadside" foods. They have a limited number of draught beers. This place looks like it's a lot of fun, and they have things happening every night including games, karaoke, and live entertainment on weekends. I had a Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, and substituted a very large bowl of cole slaw for fries. The wrap was very good, and had a decent amount of chicken. The wife had a Chicken Quesadilla that was large and she stated that it was very good. The restrooms were very clean and nice. The service was very good.

Read on. The reason for the 1 was because of the 45/50 min wait and the lie about my order. Really disappointed! The place is outdoor. You get a great view of the river. If you have a boat, come dock it on a slip. They have a fire pit you can sit by and eat or by the bar. The food was very good. We ordered the Lobster Bisque, Stuffed Clams, Hot Dog w/ fries, and Fish and Chips. Lobster Bisque had good flavor, however, was lacking the main ingredient, Lobster! My daughter enjoyed her hot dog and fries. The chicken Quesadilla was flavorful. The Fish and Chips were delicious. I love my fried fish! This fish was flaky. The batter was crispy, airy. The tartar sauce complimented the fish very well. The 1 was for two reasons. The waitress that took our order, then goes to the table next to us and takes their order. A few mins later she comes back with drinks and silverware. In the meantime, we wait forty five minutes for the food. I hear the waitress giving the table next to us saying," hear are you're stuffed clams...". Then proceed to our table, letting us know the kitchen is backed up with orders. She then tells" food will be out in a few more minutes. Unfortunately we ran out of the special, stuffed clams. Can I get you something else?" We then get our food after 45/50 mins. The fact that I lied to about the stuffed clams (since the last clams should've come to me since i ordered first) and the long wait for bar food.

Nice place to be by water where there is enough parking. Drinks were great. Bartenders did an excellent job when very crowded. Food was good and priced as expected. Burgers were enjoyable.

We have been here three times and each time leave disappointed for some reason. Our first time the service was horrendous. They had just opened, so we knew there were some kinks to work out. The service did improve during our two other visits, however each visit we are disappointed in the lackluster food. There is nothing outstanding and nothing that will keep us going back for more. Charging $7 for a can of Corona will definitely keep us away. Ambience alone won't bring people back.

From my understanding, it is a Christmas "pop-up" called Miracle. Since we just showed up without reservations, we sat at the bar, which was totally fine with us. The bartenders were very nice and offered up some recommendations. It turned out, my friend had gone to a Miracle pop-up at another bar weeks before, but hadn't realized it. The space is cozy and was very nicely decorated. I ordered an espresso martini off of their regular menu and my friend ordered the Candy Cane Lane. We didn't order food since we had dinner plans after. Our bill was $37.00, plus the $6 we left for a tip. For two cocktails that were good, but not fantastic, that is a little steep in my opinion. If we each had a second cocktail, it would have been close to $100. It's a bar in Newtown, not the casino. Would I go back? I would, just not during the holidays, and maybe a special occasion.

Woodbury Brewing Company is a craft brewpub that opened in Woodbury, Connecticut in December 2017…read more It was founded by friends and business partners Allan Cetrone, Tim Budrewicz, T.J. D'Alexander and Ken Mair. After he found his previous employer's ethical standards unconscionable, Cetrone decided to quit and find a new line of work. He and his friends frequently got together at a backyard barn man-cave which was complete with a fridge and kegerator. Cetrone had also been experimenting with his own homebrewed beers. Once their man cave became a popular spot for family gatherings, the four friends decided to open their own brewery. The taproom has a rustic saloon aesthetic (a nod to the friends' backyard barn man-cave) complete with a stage for live musical acts to perform. In addition to the housemade beer, WBC also serves wine, cider, craft cocktails, and a large menu of delicious food from their in-house kitchen. I recently visited Woodbury Brewing Company for the first time. I had heard that they host a lot of live music acts and I purchased a ticket to see Hudson Valley-based Rush tribute band "Limelight". I'm a HUGE Rush fan, so I was really excited to see the group perform. I arrived over an hour before the show started. I had a reserved table right by the stage. There was a modest crowd when I first arrived, but the whole taproom was packed by the time the show started. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the "Nashville Hot GIANT Chicken Sandwich" (hot honey, cajun spice, pickles, mayo) with "Sweet Potato Fries" as well as an order of "Cheese Curds" (served w/ house-made marinara). I was totally shocked when the food finally came to the table. When they say "giant chicken sandwiches", they mean GIANT! I could barely fit the sandwich into my mouth, but it was so delicious! The sweet potato fries were equally big and delicious, and the cheese curds were really good too! Throughout my visit, I enjoyed pours of "Yummy Beers" (Double New England IPA), "Collusion" (New England IPA), and "Barrel-Aged Don't Go Romanov" (Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout). They were all surprisingly good! Limelight also gave an excellent performance to the very energetic crowd. Overall, I had quite an enjoyable evening and I'll definitely be back! I already have a ticket to another show!
