This bar is located on the west side of Seneca lake and has amazing lakeside views and plenty of seating. The drinks are good and you can rent a just ski and tool around for a bit for some exorbitant price. They do have a pool table and an upper deck which is nice. Lots of tikis of course and a partial grass thatched roof. While I was there the electricity was out which I understand is a common occurrence. You can arrive by boat as there is a slip with a dock. Three bartenders basically stood around watching the ice melt while I was there. Perfect opportunity to show your skills and shine and keep customers around in my opinion until the power came back up but they all failed. Main Street was my Grandfathers home- Seitz family - this is now part of the Catholic Church) before my Grandfather became a Marine and ended up in Quantico , VA. Lock 1 was a perfect location to pop on in, right by the bridge, to grab a drink and snacks. The appetizers were delicious - we ordered the pretzel, loaded salt potatoes, and tacos. All were impressively good and so filling! We had a great server, very attentive, young guy, sadly I can't recall his name but he was wonderful! We also bought two bottles of Ryze Vodka to bring back home in memory of the location (Phoenix) that started a love affair of two young adults and ultimately created a storybook of family memories from New York to Virginia! If you have James as your waiter or bartender, ask him to do his British accent, it's very good. He's famous for it.
