I was really craving some scallops yesterday, and since I was headed home through Baldwinsville, I knew I had to stop here. I knew they'd be less expensive to buy them but one thing I never do is fry at home. I ordered the small portion, which is a 1/2 lb. It was busy, but they just keep frying non stop. I didn't get any salads this time but I've had their macaroni salad and coleslaw and it is delicious. I got my scallops and since it was such a nice day, I went out back to the picnic tables to eat. Came here for lunch a couple days ago and WOW. The place itself is small and only does take-out, but they make the most of their space. Ordered the fried fish dinner and it was excellent! The fish was fried perfectly, it tasted delicious and the piece was very big! The fries were a very pleasant surprise! They were a perfect balance between crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! They were also salted quite well. I also got the Mac and cheese and baked scallops. The Mac was clearly homemade and was super creamy but it also had little crunchy bits (that I assume are crispy fried cheese, but I could be wrong). The baked scallops were pretty good, they were soft and well spiced and came in a great white wine sauce. Overall, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone! read more

I'm not a huge seafood fan. About the only thing I'll usually eat is a fried fish sandwich once in a while. My wife, on the other hand, loves seafood and fried fish is one of her favorite meals. While running an errand, I stopped in to pick up some dinner. Never been there before, so I had some questions, and the woman behind the counter was patient and answered everything. I ordered 2 fried fish sandwiches, a side of fries and mac and cheese. Fish was made fresh and quickly. Relatively cheap too, as all of it came to a bit over $20. We both enjoyed our sandwiches, I usually put cocktail sauce on mine and they make their own which I bought a side of, and it was nice and tangy. Their mac and cheese was great too, not dry or anything for something they pre-make. The fries were fine. Other fried fish places I've gone to usually make their own fresh fries too, but these were just frozen fries, so they were just okay. Employees were friendly. Fish sandwich was not small, but the piece of haddock was definitely smaller than other places I've gotten fish, where the filet is pouring over the roll. Definitely a place focused on take out, no tables or chairs inside, but plenty of parking available. I'd definitely go again. read more

Great fish and great price! I order food two days in a row it was so good. Atlantic Seafood is a small place with a huge menu of seafood, with a huge delicious taste. Plenty of parking. Very clean inside and menu is posted. As I walked through the door I was greeted with a smile. All the workers were happy to serve. The food is made fresh and quickly. We ordered a fish sandwich, chicken sandwich, curly fries, Mac and cheese, cabbage salad, Mac salad, fried mushrooms, and rice pudding. All of it was superb! The fish sandwich has a delicious generous batter. They cook it the way fried fish should be cooked, crispy brown on the outside and delicate, flakey, and tender on the inside. I will put this fish up against any of the seafood shops. They are a top contender. The fish tasted fresh. The fried food sides were very tasty, they were all fried to perfection. Mac and cheese was great more on the creamy side, so not dried and over baked. The cabbage salad is some of the best I've ever had it is put together with the correct amount of ingredients. The mac salad was so good, I'm going to see if I can order it in bulk for summer parties. The rice pudding was good, I kinda like the way they only put cinnamon on half. Everything was 5star. Lastly I'd like to thank everyone that helped with my experience here, because of them and there fish fry skills I will visit here again. I'm a huge fan of fried fish and wanted to try this place for months. SO glad I did We ordered 2 fish sandwiches with a small order of curly fries. This place is very small and it's hard to social distance, I recommend going during down time or ordering before and picking it up. The fish was perfectly breaded and the curly fries were delicious! They have regular fries too but if I know a place has curly fries, I HAVE to get them! Definitely coming back to try more of the menu, see you soon! read more

honestly confused as to why people are leaving five stars for this establishment. My husband and I ordered the chicken and shrimp dinner. The fries are very unsalted. The shrimp is very bland. The chicken is a glorified chicken tender. The Mac and cheese, save the extra charge, cause it doesn't even taste edible. Overall the food was not seasoned properly. Very much similar to any concession stand food. This place reminds me of those frozen banquet dinners. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

The seafood is good at Atlantic seafood, but the process to order is very confusing. To compound this I went on a Friday afternoon during lent. I tried calling to place an order several times but the phone was busy. So I ordered when I arrived and when I got over to the counter, the girl asked if I wanted to pick out my fish which I did. This place is extremely crowded and there's really nowhere to stand. I think they would do well with the speaker to the outdoors so you can wait outside as it's very hot indoors with all the fryers. When I got home, I had my order of a fried shrimp and a fried fish dinner but I also had the fried fish that I picked out thinking that was part of my fried fish dinner. Meals are good, but the fryers have extremely dark oil. The fries go into the same oil as the fish. I'm not sure how often the oil is changed, but they do such a booming business that Perhaps they can't change the oil too frequently. This is such a popular place. Normally it fits the bun Wish they use a better bun like geddes bakery but still good fries and rings are always good. Started going there after sals in North Syracuse closed this is the best we found coming from Fairmount. Fish is always flaky not greasy rise and rings are always crisp not greasy service is good. I've been going to Fish Cove for 35 years. I moved out to Baldwinsville March 8, 2022 as driving through the village with my good friend we saw the sign Atlantic Seafood. As much as I love seafood we decided to stop and go in and order. The service/customer service was absolutely exceptionally friendly. Everyone that works there are so happy and they love to laugh and talk with you. After we got home and eat our food, fish, craps, shrimp,and scallop. My first time. It was a mixed experience. The baked scallops were quite good. Coleslaw was below average, fries tasted double-fried, like they tried to warm them up by dunking them a second time. Fish sandwich was blah, the fish had obviously been sitting around a long time after frying. Apple pie (probably made somewhere else) was average. I doubt I'll go there again unless my wife has a hankering for scallops, which is basically why we chose it in the first place. He bought a large container of it and tried to get the guy behind the counter to sell him the recipe, heh. Thinking this was a good sign, I bought a small container of it. This was a mistake. The next time I came here, I bought a large container of it. This was also a mistake. Next time I go, I'm getting a few large containers of it. This will not be a mistake. The rice pudding? Also tasty. The fish? Quite good! Haddock is not a thing on the West coast, but it's a pretty standard whitefish. It's big, though! Portions are generous. The fried seafood is all good. The tartar sauce is top notch- buy yourself a container of that, too. The fish sammich is quite a good deal. You can add tartar sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese all for free, I believe. Have ordered from here a few times and the food has been good. I have tried both the original and Boston baked haddock and they were were both really good. I have gotten the large size fish each time and it's enough for leftovers. My husband has had the fried fish both times and has enjoyed it. The pasta salad is good as well. There are several different sides to chose from and they have a fridge full when you walk in. I have included the menu in my review. Can get very busy on a Friday night, my advice would be to order ahead. If in Baldwinsville area, definitely give this place a try. Stopped here for lunch today. I have heard this place is really good. My six year old and I both had fish sandwiches. They both were cooked perfect and had great flavor. The fish was flaky and meaty just how it should be. My little guy finished the whole thing and he rarely finishes a sandwich of any kind. We also split some mac and cheese. It was decent. After a minute, I'm at the counter to place my order. 2 shrimp dinners subbing onion rings for fries, and a small order of scallops. The place is packed with friendly locals and the seafood is fried right in front of you. The wait goes by like that.The fish looked particularly good so I decided to add a small piece of haddock to my order as well. I grabbed a couple of containers of the homemade tartar sauce and cocktail sauce and made my way to the counter to pay. Dinner for two was about 35 bucks, not too bad considering the quality and the amount of food we got. I took it home and my Dad and I tucked into a feast! The haddock was very fresh and cooked well. I prefer batter dipped but this was great as well. The shrimp dinners were plentiful with, again perfectly cooked shrimp and onion rings. The cole slaw was vinegar based and nice and piquant. Loved it! Lastly the scallops. Man, were these good. Simply breaded but so sweet and meaty. If they charged twice as much it would still be worth it. You pay for quality and this place delivers.
