I tried the smoked wings. They had a great taste and were plump with meat. The skillet fried okra and a side of field peas finished the plate off. We got some dessert to go with sinful delight, cherry cobbler and walnut chocolate chip pie. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this local place currently at 36 years serving great food. Now, let's go to the beginning. We called to see how long the wait would be. On the recording, we had to select option 2, make a reservation. We asked how long the wait was and was told 5 to 10 minutes. We asked if we could make a reservation and were told they don't take reservations. This was confusing considering the phone options. We arrived a few minutes later and were told it was about a 20 minute wait. So, in conclusion, it was a long wait for an inedible meal with undrinkable water. It was $60 (our ticket for 2)wasted. Oh, it gets better. I just got the receipt from my husband. We were charged for a coke and an iced tea. So, $8 for drinks we didn't even order!
