Pork Roll, Eggs and Cheddar Cheese on a brioche roll

This local hotspot is a favorite. We sat at the counter and the waitress service was spectacular. We had the pork roll, eggs and cheddar cheese on a brioche roll. It was fresh and delicious. This diner ambiance is overlooking the water which adds a nice touch!

Friendly and kind servers, cute diner atmosphere and really good food. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries - delicious! Will definitely return.

Dockside is a small roadside diner set alongside the main boulevard. We came here twice in one weekend. Once for lunch and then the next morning for breakfast. Both times we were seated promptly and attended to very well by the servers. For lunch I had the Crab Salad which was flavorful. It is advertised to be with avocado and mango. I was envisioning slices of mango but instead it is like a mango and pepper salsa (see photo). Regardless it was good. For breakfast I had the Dockside Combo which is the 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat and toast. It arrived as expected with no complaints on my end. Everyone else was content with their orders.

I recently went back to the dockside diner with my family and had a great experience. We all were hungry in between lunch and dinner after a day at the beach and the dockside had something on the menu for everyone. I was really impressed with the proportions of the food and how quickly everything was served. The restaurant was really clean and I think they've redecorated since I was last here. It was nice to have the choice of indoor and outdoor seating.

Dockside is a must stop for breakfast. I mean a small little quality diner with a bay view. Does it get any better than that? My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday morning. We got seated right away and the staff is quick but super friendly. I was torn between a breakfast option and a lunch option, when I asked the server for her opinion she automatically told me go for the lunch option. I'm so glad she did. I got a beer battered fried haddock wrap. Yumm! The fish was battered so perfectly and fried to amazement. It was perfectly crunchy in the wrap and carrots so well with the coleslaw and fresh veggies. It also came with a side of old Bay seasoned fries which were absolutely delicious. My boyfriend went for the breakfast club sandwich and it did not disappoint either. The seven grain bread that it was served on was really good. We also got a small fresh fruit cup. It had a great variety of different fruits and everything was super ripe and tasty. Dockside has a fantastic menu with tons of options. They are also open now for dinner which I cannot wait to try. In between the crabs Benedict, the crab omelette, and their fresh fish selection you can't go wrong here. Perfect small diner with a small flair on their menu. Give them a shot for breakfast or lunch when you're in LBI.

Highly recommend the eggs in the pancake! So delicious

Loved this place. The breakfasts were great and the staff very cheerful and welcoming. Only wish it was closer to my house.

The amount of flys in the diner and bathroom ruined the overall experience. The food was amazing but service was quite slow.

The staff were rushed and rude and even the customers seemed unwelcoming. More recently, just a couple months ago, I went against. Figured it's been years and maybe I just had an odd bad experience. This new visit was just as bad. The person taking my order again seems rude, as if me eating there was an inconvenience to her summer vacation. As we waited for food I asked for a cup for water which they seemed surprised by. Upon getting my water another customer was annoyed since they apparently also asked for water and it wasn't clear who the water was for. The staff seems annoyed by both of us. When the food came, it was bland at best. My hot honey chicken waffle looked like no effort was take. The waffle looked like it was warmed up in a toaster. The chicken wasn't much better. I suspect it was a restaurant demo meal that they just warm up. The hot honey...none. Just a generic breakfast syrup. I asked if they had hot honey but the staff looked confused by the question. Apparently they haven't had hot honey for weeks yet they still had it on the menu. I had to settle for a hot sauce that they probably use on chicken wings...which also wasn't that great. Bad ambiance. Bad customer service. Terrible food. Of the places to eat o n the island, this is easily my least favorite.
