When we heard Tom & Margie sold, we drove down mid winter in hopes things would remain same... we were pleasantly surprised it was... if it ain't broke...dont fix it....alas, our first trip in by boat to Beach Haven in mid July, you needed a knife and fork to cut the pancakes! Fluffy pancakes - the best! Pigcasso- veggie omelette was excellent with abundant spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and swiss cheese. It came with a choice of sides which I picked the pancakes (3 served). The Kids Happy Face Pancake was super cute topped with mixed fruit of bananas, strawberries and blueberries, whipped cream and chocolate chips. A mobile pig on wheels can visit your dining table; a fun whimsical tool for restaurant and for kids delight. Cows, pig decor on walls and shelving creates the homey ambiance. First off, service was awesome. The guy at the front was very friendly and helpful. I Ordered a pork roll , egg and cheese and 2 coffees. Besides for the astronomical price of $25 for a breakfast sandwich and 2 black coffees, the food itself was awful. Served open faced on a non toasted English muffin this sandwich was completely void of flavor and substance. Apparently , ownership at Uncle Will's has instructed their staff to 86 salt, pepper and any other seasonings that might give their food flavor. The potatoes were par cooked and bland. Again, ZERO seasonings. CHEGG, any of the bagel shops, bakeries.markets or even WaWa will give you a better breakfast. Avoid this overpriced, under flavored restaurant if possible. read more

We went to Uncle Will's for break fast. I got the Eastern Shore Benedict. It is a Uncle Will's crab cake on a golden croissant with grilled asparagus, roasted red peppers, topped with 2 poached eggs & hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious. And, glad we had those reservations, because the place was packed. The menu is extensive, with so many breakfast options and large portion sizes. I can't say enough good things about Uncle Wills. The breakfasts combos are amazing, the coffee is delish, and the portions are ample. I remember when we went and our kids were small, they would pull over a chair and Uncle Will (the pottery pig) would sit with us for breakfast. We've returned year after year. A fun,family-oriented breakfast place with an adorable mascot and delicious pancakes! The restaurant realy reps its pig mascot with a little seat buddy and tons of merchandise. The seating space is a little cramped but nothing that I would consider being too close to other patrons. The food service is pretty quick with an order coming out within maybe 10 minutes. The only downside to this place is on the difference in wait staff. Some parts of the restaurant had really great servers who were attentive but unfortunately, my waiter/waitress were never around and had to keep reminding them to please get water glasses for us. Damn this place gets packed, but it was well worth the wait (1.5 hr). They take your phone number so we took the opportunity to explore despite it raining like a mofo that day. We went down to some of the gift shops to pick up sweaters and miscellaneous LBI apparel. Got the call and told em we'd be right back over in five minutes. They gladly held the table which we definitely appreciated! Had a chance to try the short rib benedict and red neck benedict. I thi k I prefer the redneck, but both were very good. Very friendly service. Easy online ordering and curbside pickup. Online ordering shuts down at 1:00PM daily, and I had the distinction of placing one of my orders at 12:59PM. That impressed them. I called several times at 1:10PM and they took my order by phone. We were disappointed that they closed at 1:30PM every day in late September/early October. I probably would have ordered more often had they been open for dinner. My favorite menu item is the HUGE Veggie Benedict. I could never finish the entire portion. HUGE (what seemed like homemade) garden veggie burger on very delicious 7-grain toasted bread, roasted red peppers, melted Havarti cheese, and 2 poached eggs. A generous amount of every ingredient. The veggie burger is also available a la carte as a "side," towards the end of the menu, and I ordered that a few times. Quite a few times, I ordered the 4 oz nova lox, which was consistently fresh and high quality. None of the stringy stuff that poor quality lox sometimes has. I like avocado toast topped with lox, so I ordered their avocado toast several times and added the lox myself. I think sliced tomato is available as a side with avocado toast, and that goes well with the lox. I tried the crumb cake and it was good. More crumbs than cake. Lots of cinnamon. Yummy. read more

We ordered the eggs benedict and she got eggs florentine, each with their own helping of home fries; a breakfast staple, in my personal opinion. We were told to chill for 20 minutes, so we did just that at the cute shop next door. Although the prices were a bit steeper than what I was expecting, the food was down right wholesome and delicious. The eggs were good and runny, and I sopped up the yokes with the english muffin and taylor ham bed that it was sitting on. We began enjoying Uncle Wills 23 summers ago with our 2 daughter ages 4 months and 3 years. From our first visit we've loved what a special place it is for family breakfasts together. The pig - themed restaurant, including a large pig on wheels who can visit you at your table, is a great hit with the younger set. Breakfasts--eggs, omelets, waffles and pancakes--are tasty and delivered promptly and correctly. There's a cute pancake with a funny face on the kids menu. Home fries are good. The giant tub of butter has always amused my family, and the fresh fruit - not the fruit side served with the breakfast, which can be a little soggy and sad, but the separate fresh fruit you order off the menu - is usually excellent. read more
