I can't say for certain what happened, but the interaction left me with the impression that the staff may have realized the order wasn't made correctly and sent it out anyway. Regardless, I was disappointed because I paid for an add-on that I did not receive. I hope the business pays closer attention to special requests and ensures customers receive the extras they are charged for.

I often find myself here after a beach day when I am here for a day trip. The food is always fresh and satisfying. The service is always kind and efficient. I always feel welcome at here too, which is an aspect of restaurants that isn't talked about enough! Likely what remains the biggest highlight of Jon & Patty's is their carrot cake. I first had this cake at a younger age and grew up thinking all carrot cakes were this good, and boy was I wrong! After spending 50 dollars , and waiting for almost half an hour, I don't think it's unreasonable to use a restroom. Plenty of other places on the boardwalk for mediocre egg sandwiches, and will not be returning.
