Late review, but finally getting around to it. I had Docs Garage do an electrical overhaul on my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS in Nov of 2021. I had them fix my rear tail lights, install a complete radio system, fix my interior courtesy lights, glove box light, replace my vacuum controlled broken hideaway headlight system with an electrically powered one, and fix my blinking headlights that wouldn't always stay on with the car. All of that was done to the tune of $4,190. I knew that this was a lot of work and a high price to pay. But I had given them a complete call sheet of the repairs necessary and set my appointment a few weeks out to complete. So why the 2 stars? My biggest concern with the car at the time was nighttime driving. Not having my headlights working properly was gambling with the safety of doing that. When I picked up the car I was pretty much right away given a disclaimer that "the headlights weren't working a 100% and might need to be totally re-wired..." Which I found a pretty odd thing to say to a customer after I'm supposed to be picking it up fixed. That was a priority to repair and they had to already completely remove the headlights to install the electrically operated hide-away headlight system. Not only that, but they forgot to repair a broken hinge in the headlight system that I had given them a new replacement part for. This would have taken 1/4 of the time to do with the headlight assembly already removed from the car. Pretty much within a week off the lot I started to notice my headlights blinking again at random worse than when I dropped the car off. I lived with the car like this for almost a year before I finally found a local auto electrician to fix them for $500. They informed me that both headlights were improperly grounded and they put in my replacement hinge Doc's forgot. Seeing how I paid at Doc's $500 for troubleshoot and diagnostic, $1000 for the hideaway headlight swap, and an other $500 for "repairing of faulty headlight connections and grounds" , only now I know I way overpaid for service that was done incorrectly. They did a great job with the radio, all the other electrical repairs, and the car was delivered back to me cleaner and detailed more than any other mechanic has ever returned the car. I just wish they had spent less time detailing the car and more time on the headlights. For paying $2K alone to work with the headlights, they should have been correctly wired.

Hot Rodders tend to be good mechanics, and car geeks. These guys are both, and although the shop might be difficult to find, and you'll drive down a narrow alley bounded on one side by an array of various hot rods and restorations in progress, I can assure you it's worth your time. In my case, I can't afford a hot rod. I can't afford a restoration, but I do need somebody that I can rely upon to work on my old truck and make it right. Jason and his crew of wild-eyed fanatics have done excellent work on my "beat up old truck", which is purring like a kitten and just turned 300,000 miles. So, take it from me: whether you've got a project to resto-mod something into a 500 horsepower show car, or 165 horsepower working heirloom, this is a garage you should check out. I'll certainly be back.

Doc's Garage is the absolute best. I inherited a 67 Mustang that hadn't run in 18 years and I didn't know where to begin. I called around, and Doc's was the most helpful and responsive place I spoke with. So I brought her in! Jason is extremely detailed and great at communicating what is happening at every step of the repair/restoration process. My car is running beautifully and I couldn't be happier with the work and care he put into the car.

    After

Doc's Garage promised and delivered. After 30 years I have finally been able to restore my 1970 Camaro. No easy task I might add. After many weekends of driving to different restorations shops around the San Fernando Valley to find someone to do the work. It was clear that Jason and Doc's garage were the right people to do the job. Jason was knowledgeable, professional and just right out an awesome guy. I had Jason upgrade all the electrical and replace the entire dashboard to start off my restoration and the work came out great. I couldn't be happier and would strongly recommend Jason for any classic car restoration needs!

Doc's garage worked on an electrical problem on my 1966 Chevy C10. He was able to find the short that was draining my battery and also replaced by headlights. He was also able to trouble shoot my leaking air bags to be fixed on another occasion. Definitely recommend Docs.

He works with surgeon-level precision but somehow finishes everything faster than any shop I've ever dealt with. The light-up pony came out flawless -- clean wiring, perfect alignment, no gaps, no issues. It looks factory, but better. The door sills (non-illuminated) were installed perfectly as well. It wasn't looking good and I plan to keep the car for another five years or so, so I figured I should look into this. Marcos took a look at the areas that needed work, then brought me into his office. He typed up some information in the computer and got me a quote within 10 or 15 minutes, no problem. The cost was about what I expected and I didn't even bother getting a second opinion. Based on the number of great reviews on Moises, I figured I had found the right place. I scheduled a time to drop the car off on a Monday morning hoping I would only have to rent a car until Friday. They literally got to work right away, sending me photos of the car being worked on by noon. It turned out that the mobile dent guy had done some pretty shoddy work underneath his paint job, and that I would need a new door skin as well if I wanted the car to really look its best. Marcos was honest and said I didn't have to go this route, and could keep it the way it was, but it wouldn't look as good. It would be ok, and better than it currently looked, but if I wanted it pristine, I should consider the new door skin. I figured I'm going this far, so we might as well do it right. The car was ready by Friday afternoon as promised, even though they had to order a new door skin which was not in the plan. When I picked the car up Friday, it looked perfect. In fact, the whole car looked fantastic. The paint was blended perfectly. I feel so much better about this car now. One added bonus to all of this is that Marcos noticed my magnet on the back of the car that says "I [heart] my dachshund," and Marcos mentioned he also has two dachshunds. I always know I can trust a dachshund lover. The only problem is that Marcos is an LAFC fan, and as I am a huge LA Galaxy fan, it was difficult to accept this!

The car came in brand new in black, and we had them apply a stainless steel-colored satin wrap, ceramic protection, window tint, and smoked taillights. The transformation is incredible. The satin finish makes all the high-gloss black and red elements pop in a way they didn't before. It's striking. We've already had multiple people stop and comment - including someone at a gas station who said it was going to be his next car. Now the Volvo. It's over seven years old but still in great shape with under 38K miles, and I wasn't ready to part with it. Instead, I refreshed it. The original two-tone white and black is now wrapped in a British racing green-colored wrap, and it has completely changed the car. The existing black and red accents stand out in a whole new way and paired with the rare lava-colored interior carpets, it feels like a brand-new car again. And yes, it's also getting plenty of attention on the road. The craftsmanship at Diamond is top-notch. The technicians clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in the final product. But the standout is Cooper in the front office. He's an excellent communicator and is fully focused on making sure everything is exactly as expected. You can tell he cares deeply about the customer experience. Highly recommend Diamond Auto Salon. We'll definitely be back.

BEWARE OF THIS SHOP. I do not want anyone to go through what I have gone through with this shop…read more They are simply not capable of performing quality work. God forbid they damage your car, they may just gaslight you and make you feel dumb for wanting it fixed. I originally inquired with Philip about having my M550i wrapped in PurePPF. It seemed like the highest quality colored PPF brand on the market with a wide array of colors. Philip told me he could not confidently stand behind PurePPF as a product because it is "too new" in the industry and cannot put his warranty behind them, even though PurePPF has a 10 year warranty of their own, he said he questioned their longevity as a business that could even last that long. I found out much later on that he is not able to even get PurePPF because they only allow certain shops within a mile radius of one another. He heavily insisted on Inozetek and even took $250 off to further convince me to not use PurePPF. I decide to trust him & location was convenient. I end up having them wrap my car in Inozetek's Dynamic PPF Satin Midnight Black. I also added 20% tints and had them install a front lip and rear diffuser. I drop off the car and in a week I am told it is ready for pickup. Philip quickly leaves in a hurry and I am left with Noah to go over the car with. Immediately, we notice a large rip in the rear bumper which he quickly assures me will be taken care of. At this time, we are inspecting the car in shop lighting which was a bit hard to see super clearly because it was getting dark. The next day I look at my car in the sun and notice much more of the quality of work I received. I notice many areas of peeling, wrinkling, a lot of weird blue stains throughout the wrap, a mesh section under my grille is visibly melted from heat gun or mini torch and my brand new carbon exhaust tips are damaged (Photos attached). I send all of the photos and video to Noah and Philip. They assure me it is normal and say "we both think your car looks great!" and all will be taken care of. I told Philip I wanted to show him in person because he had left rather quickly as I mentioned, and there were obviously a lot of issues. I told him I would come in a couple days later. I arrive and he is not there, but Noah is. We go over everything and again. Noah is very apologetic and assures me everything will be fixed, they will pay for the exhaust tips and order the replacement plastic piece. I am very skeptical at this point, but I remained hopeful and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. He tells me to come back in a week for "touch ups". I come back a week later to drop the car off with Noah. This is to redo the front and rear bumpers, and address all of the lifting/wrinkling. He also told me he ordered the replacement plastic piece. I leave the car for over 20 days (Sep 4-26). I was out of town for a ~6 days of this so I was not super concerned being without a car, but he kept pushing it back which was odd and said he had to redo the front bumper 3 times, which obviously does not sound great. He also claims the plastic piece 'he ordered' from BMW never arrived but he was going to "go to BMW" to get the part. The next day Noah tells me the car is ready, so I arrange a ride out there to pick it up. When I arrive, the rear bumper was not even redone. He said he didn't get a chance to do it and ran out of film because of redoing the front bumper 3 times. He did not even mention this until I arrived which was confusing and frustrating. We also immediately notice the front bumper was still significantly stained blue (even more than before). The plastic piece was also no where to be found as he claimed it was lost in transit and he's trying to contact BMW (I later find out that he never even ordered the part, more later). He tells me he will reach out to me when the new PPF film comes in and the BMW plastic part. I also have no idea where Philip was. I hadn't seen him at all in a while and Noah kept telling me he never comes in and that he is in charge of this situation. Philip had also said this at the earlier stage that Noah would be taking care of everything. About a week goes by and nothing from Noah. I try calling him but no answer. He finally texts me out of the blue and says he is quitting Alpha and he is at home sick with food poisoning. I am now very confused and upset and starting to feel hopeless. I ask him what do you suggest I do? He says Philip should honor your touch ups and everything, he knows the situation. I send him a few more messages but no response and this is the last I hear from him. (Oct 3) I immediately call Philip and he told me Noah was fired for stealing (allegedly).
