    If could give six stars I would. Thank goodness I found John and European Auto Service. I had taken my 2014 pristine Aston Martin DB9 to another shop for an oil change. They couldn't clear the service light, and less than a month later another service light appeared regarding the emissions system. Rather than take it to a shop that couldn't handle my rare car I did a ChatGPT search and the AI recommended European and I gave them a call. Expert service, they diagnosed and fixed all the problems including a ticking time bomb of a leak at the oil filter. I'm grateful for the professional treatment from all the staff especially John and Ian. I will definitely be taking all my rare and precious vehicles there and would highly recommend.

    John goes above and beyond to ensure the vehicles undergo the correct diagnostics and resolution. This time was coolant issue in my Range Rover. During service, i requested a repaint quote for my hood. I approved the quote and he conducted that while my car was being serviced. Due to some schedule constraints, car exchange was incredibly effortless and efficient above and beyond normal service. Will always take my cars to European Auto

    I brought my 2020 Range Rover Evoque in for service here. I was quoted 2800 dollars by the Land Rover dealership for an oil change along with front and rear brake pads and rotors. The price felt excessive, so I contacted European Auto Service and was quoted 1300 dollars using OEM parts, less than half of the dealership estimate. I scheduled an appointment without realizing the shop was located in Reseda, about a 45 minute drive from my home near Hollywood. After arriving, the drive was immediately worth it. The shop is spotless and exceptionally well organized, easily the cleanest automotive shop I have ever seen. In my experience, attention to the workspace reflects attention to the vehicles, and this shop clearly takes pride in both. I worked with Ivan, who made the entire process seamless from drop off to pickup. Everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and without any pressure. I highly recommend making the drive to European Auto Service for top tier work, honest pricing, and a level of service that is hard to find. Highly recommend!

    When my Defender's warranty expired, I was concerned about having it serviced at an independent dealer. I was relieved after my experience at European Auto Service. John and his team did a brilliant job. The service was performed perfectly, quickly and at a price I was very happy with. Their technical knowledge is also impressive and they always have your back. I have found my new service home to keep my Defender in top condition.

    I can't say enough good things about this shop. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding! The level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and knowledge here is rare these days. They installed an M10 engine from a 1980 320i in my 1974 BMW 2002. Then they installed a complete custom built standalone engine management system and custom wiring harness into the car, allowing them to use modern electric fuel injection. They also performed a manual transmission conversion using a rare 5 speed transmission from a late E21. A lot of fabrication works were added to make this work in harmony...They tested and tuned the setup to achieve better than factory levels of drivability, and much higher performance! Every detail was handled with care, precision and obvious expertise. It's clear they understand these cars inside and out and take real pride in their work! If you're looking for a restoration shop that treats your car like their own, look no further! I'm beyond happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and his team to anyone!

    John and team brought this 190sl back to better than 1961 factory new condition!

    I highly recommend this shop. They did an exceptional job on bringing my 1961 Mercedes sl to better than new condition with exceptional bodywork and a full paint job. They also went through the engine and got it running like a Swiss watch. I couldn't be more pleased. All the work was high quality, the communication was very good and I was always kept advised of the status and situation. Pricing was very competitive and overall a great value. I highly recommend John and his team!

    Sometimes when a business has a lot of five-star reviews it's apparent that many of the reviews aren't authentic. If you read European Auto Service's five-star reviews, you can tell that what customers have written is based on experience. I am going to add a five-star review and it is based on my experience. I have a 2006 BMW 330 CI (it's old, but very loved and has low mileage). I love the car (I said that already, but it's true), but I was trying to decide if putting money into it (rather than buying a new vehicle) continued to make sense. I did a financial breakdown and came to the conclusion -- if I could find a place that would fix the things that needed fixing (and that involves knowledge and care, because the car is almost 20 years old)--I would. But this was the tricky part. Because BMW dealerships don't know a lot about (or show much care) when it comes to older models. And paying for what they do know comes at a ridiculous cost (literally). So I searched the internet for a business that would be able to fix both mechanical and body imperfections. And I discovered European Auto Service and read all of the five-star reviews. And then I had a phone conversation with John, the owner. And that was all it took to get me to drive almost an hour both ways to have my car assessed. I could write a book (I am well on my way with this review) about all of the ways that I have been blown away by the customer service, care, knowledge and thoughtfulness that I was shown by John and his team. They are skilled, kind, professional, they know what they are doing --- but their secret sauce (and it's no secret) is that they love what they do. John and Ivan took the time to explain what my 330 CI needed and also what it didn't really need. Not only did I never felt pressured or overcharged--the opposite was true. I felt I was treated honestly and with respect. And in 2025, when people often don't speak kindly to each other and great customer service is a thing of the past, that goes a very long way. They fixed what needed to be fixed and the car runs and looks better than it has in probably a decade. And I felt the price I paid for that was fair. I know (because John told me) that there will be future issues with my old (very, loved) car. But now I feel good about keeping it, because I feel very good about the place I have to take it. And I suspect, if there comes a time when I should replace it, John will let me know. And I will believe him.

I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

In Los Angeles, the driving capital of the world, there isn't a shortage of mechanics and body shops but not all are created equally. JoJo's Auto Body is top notch! My dad has been a client of Manar and JoJo's Auto Body for various projects and of course recommended him highly. My dad is of a certain generation where nothing less than perfection is acceptable, so I knew he'd done his due diligence. JoJo's had done some significant work on two of my parents' cars. Of course, then, I contact Manar. Unfortunately, parked right in front of our home, my driver's side view mirror was clipped by a passing car that had drifted. I happened to be inside the car and the car drifted right, hit the mirror and sped off. Immediately after, I contacted Manar. We scheduled an intake. He was punctual, professional, and transparent about options and cost. He provided me with the necessary information and I felt absolutely no pressure to make a decision immediately. He had one of his technicians tape up the remnants of the rear view mirror to cover it while we decided. A few weeks passed and we decided to have the entire mirror replaced. We asked Manar to let us know when the mirror would arrive and we could just come in and have it taken care of quickly. He contacted me on a Monday to say the mirror replacement was at the shop. We scheduled a time for me to take the car on Wednesday and within 35 minutes of arriving the work was done. In addition to his professionalism, quality of work, and honesty, Jojo's is a well managed and kept body shop. I mean no one really wants to sit around a body shop but if ever you need to, JoJo's is immaculate. There is plenty of parking, clear signage, and a welcome reception and office manager. Each visit I was asked if I needed anything to drink, including water or coffee. There is clear management signage about their policies and pricing No one ever wants to deal with body work but if you have to, please do yourself a favor and go to JoJo's Auto Body! That was the exact reasoning given. This was not about warranty. It was not about saving me money. I was fully prepared to pay for an inspection or any necessary correction. I was simply asking for a professional second opinion. If a shop refuses work because they're concerned a customer might "get upset," that raises serious questions about confidence in their own work. A reputable shop stands behind its skills and diagnoses issues regardless of who previously touched the vehicle. Changing the explanation publicly after the fact does not reflect well. I stand by what I said. I had a very disappointing experience at Automotive Instincts in Northridge. I called and spoke with Steve about looking at my car after another shop had worked on it, and he basically told me they didn't want to touch it because another shop already did the work. His reasoning was that he didn't want me to "get upset at them too." That makes absolutely no sense. As a customer, I'm simply looking for a professional second opinion or proper correction if something wasn't done right. Refusing to even inspect the vehicle just because another shop previously worked on it feels unprofessional and dismissive. Cars get worked on by multiple shops all the time -- that's normal. Turning someone away out of fear of a bad review instead of standing behind your own skills says a lot. Very disappointing customer service. I expected more professionalism and confidence from a shop with such high ratings.
