Today was free comic book day. Monkey Paws was one of the gracious comic book stores to give us not…read moreone but four comics per customer. And they had great stories too. Heck they even have Blade in a few of them which I was excited for. I believe the whole store was discounted 10 or 20% as well. I've been there before and was treated well by the employees as the customer service was stupendous I'm all about supporting the local establishments but today I was a bit put off. They hold a raffle and for each customer transaction you received a couple of raffle tickets. One for today and one for a later day. Well I made my purchase and my nephew found something else as we were walking out the door. We stood in line and made another purchase. I wasn't given a ticket and asked for one and was told by the dark haired lady behind the counter that today was only one ticket per customer not per transaction and dismissed me. I don't see the difference between today or Any other day. My money is green and credit cards are plastic every day. If it's because of the specials at least they made 80% of the sale then nothing at all.

He made sure I knew to use a different plug than what came with it. I then asked what the "Nintendo Family Computer" was behind him. He then showed me an original famicom Nintendo Family Computer and explained how it's the upgraded version of (that) He then showed me the top loader American Nintendo that came out around the same time,looked similar. He then told me those need a different plug than they come with and that Japanese plugs work in American outlets, but they are higher voltage so can damage the Famicom (either one) Then he sold me two plugs because I needed them, for the future AV famicom. I would have bought the one he had but a customer was coming back for it from the bank. I don't have the pictures I took because I couldn't get help with my (potentially) bricked phone, because the Xfinity store I went to threw me out after berating their own employee who apparently had diabetes and said "don't help this guy, he has autism" because of my Autism Awareness Captain Crunch whistle. I sold my Xbox here to receive credit for a digital game. Every time I tried to purchase the game it charged my credit card and gift card and didn't send the game. Then I contact customer service and am instructed to wait 24 hours to attempt to purchase again. Now it's been 7 days of trying this DAILY and it's still happening and now they tell me you can't make digital purchase online. After a week of this!!! Now I go in to this store again and the original game I wanted is right there in digital and they never told me. So I go to purchase it using my pro card.. and guess what!? The system is down so they can't and refuse to give me my discount!! A game store that refuses to sell you a game!!!!! The incompetence of GameStop and its employees is absolutely mind boggling. And as he set it up and explained they are only doing store credit or venmo. Because cash value was the same as store credit. I told him I do t use venmo and dont go to gamestop enough for store credit to be worth it. And told him is states online cash is offered and that what I wanted. Even said that on his screen as he did his checks. He then let me know it would be ten minutes for him to open the safe. Gave me $30 out of the drawer and then slammed it shut like he was having a tantrum. And just had a poor attitude the whole time. Not very professional. And when he gave me the rest of the cash. He stated he was gonna get written up for doing this. I then told him.im sorry to hear that. And stated you did have the option not to proceed with the trade-in. And that would have been fine. The selection was very low, a lot of the product had been boxes, on the employee behind the front counter would have rather twiddle his thumbs and look at the ground and greet any of the customers that were in there. Well I was in the store three new customers came in and he didn't greet anyone of them only when I walked out did he gave me a slight nod but other than that did not ask me if I needed help or if I was looking for something. What a crappy way to make customers feel.
