This auto repair shop is located on Oxford and Wilshire in LA, an area known as Korea town. Owner and MBZ mechanic expert aka Doctor Benz is James Park, is Korean but speaks excellent English and His experience working with Mercedes goes back at least a couple decades. After reading some Yelp reviews, meeting and speaking with James, I felt confident in his capabilities and his written quote estimate to repair my MBZ. I own my MBZ and it has low miles but it is no longer under warranty. Usually, I had only taken my car to the MBZ dealer repair shop in Beverly Hills, but their written quoted estimate was outrageous and three times more than the price quoted from Dr Benz. On two occasions, Dr Benz repaired the water pump and the engine motor mounts, both were labor intensive jobs. We coordinated and scheduled a day for Me to drop off my car early and picked up before the end of the day. My car is a convertible and had the rooftop vandalized slashed so I never want to leave my car overnight anywhere. James was accommodating and worked diligently to complete the job within the time frame. Original MBZ parts were installed and everything is running smooth. It's been over a month since the repairs and my car is still running smooth and perfect as expected. Thanks to the Yelp reviews that guided Me here, but more importantly Thanks a Million to a trust worthy MBZ mechanic who was able to diagnose, surgically operate and repair ALL that ailed my car. James Park is among the outstanding persons who deserve recognition as Korean American and a member of the APIHM community. Where has James been all my (driving) life?! STORY TIME: A few weekends ago, I was driving a few miles home on local when my car started making THE most horrific noise I've heard any vehicle make. It felt and sounded like it would fall apart if I drove it even another mile! I crawled my way home and immediately tried to look for the closest mechanic that I could gently roll my car to, which is when I found glowing reviews for this place and conveniently only a block or two away. Perfect! I texted the number on his website and James responded, understandably, during business hours to confirm the date and time of my appointment. I arrive at my appointment time at 4pm on Tuesday, pull a ticket, turn right to go all the way around the parking structure and park in front of his stall. He takes a look and immediately diagnoses the issue, tells me he'll order parts which will arrive first thing tomorrow morning, and that my car should be ready for pick-up by noon the next day. And sure enough, my car was ready as expected! This was THE easiest, no frills, no doubt, most trustworthy car maintenance experience of my life!!!!!! What's even better, I was a few months overdue for a routine service due to the pandemic and James weighed in that I could drive a few thousand more miles and just do the next service, which saved me a couple hundred dollars. I just paid 6 dollars to wait for someone for 20 minutes lol. So I have had my car serviced at Mercedes Benz beverly hills and that was a night-mare so i decided "why not support local business?!" I guess not this one. I messaged them inquiring about the service needed for my car through their website forum and got a timely response. I followed up their response with a confirmation for an appointment. No response. Email them the next day. No response. Call them leaving a voicemail. No response. Call them again leaving another voicemail. Finally receive a call and the man seemed nice - he agreed to meeting at 10 am on Tuesday. Which is today. Day comes. I arrive at 10:02 am. And then I wait. cars i'm assuming he was worked on, are outside and his says DOCTOR BENZ in big letters. His venue is barricaded with metal slates so I decide to knock since I can't get in. No one answers. So I decide to call - twice. And third time I call, it goes straight to voicemail. So yea. By this time its 10:12 and I'm waiting outside and its chilly so I talk to the parking garage office manager (his shop is located in a garage) thats right next door. He says - I should try calling him . Let him know that I did and I leave to my car to wait a little longer. 10:19 comes along and I've just about had it. I made it a priority to be on time and call to seek an explanation or something. And getting ignored - was not the service I was hoping for. So I go to parking office manager dude and ask if there is any way I can comp or validate my parking. He says that they don't do that. And it will be 6 dollars- 3 for every 15 min. And that's how I wasted my time and money. If I wanted to get ghosted - I would have just reopened my tindr. read more

The owner is friendly, treats everyone like they're family, and he is an expert at his craft. I went in to get my Service B -- not only does it cost less than going into the dealership, he takes great care of his clients and their vehicle.
