This is the only place I'll take my Porsche from now on. We were having oil pressure issues and took our car to two different spots before this one, including the dealership. The dealership couldn't figure out the issue, and the other place, which specializes in Porsches, wouldn't even look at our car. After I got scammed by another shop, I went to Eurospec and Cyrus and the team fixed everything, gave me a lower quote, faster service WITH INTEGRITY and a better warranty. The other shop said I needed a $5000 replacement part and Euro took a better look and fixed the actual problem instead of looking to make a quick buck like so many other shops. It's not every day you're excited about bringing your car in for service but after being away from Euro Spec for a few years, it was great to be back. Euro Spec is that special kind of place. It always feels like you're bringing your car over to a buddy with an amazing car collection. (There's so much Audi/Porsche eye candy to drool over.) When we were last there, we were advised to put our A4 wagon out to pasture. It still had plenty of life but had developed what would eventually become a fatal flaw. Peter's advice was "It's a grenade. Get rid of it while you can." We traded it in and leased a Q5 that we ended up buying, which means we get to go back to Euro Spec. Peter was great as always. When we had the A4, we lived right in the neighborhood but have since moved to NELA. I sent a message through their website to set up an appointment and he replied back within an hour. On the day of our appointment, they had our car in and out with an oil change/routine service within a couple of hours. Worked with my insurance so that I was able to have a no stress experience and got the work done at a price that everyone was happy about which I feel is a great value in and of itself. They were super helpful with setting up a rental car and letting me have my car since it was still drivable until they were ready to do the work so I only had to pay for a rental the shortest amount of time. That was very helpful since my insurance doesn't cover a rental car. I found ESM while I was searching for a specific 996 for almost 3 years. I have seen their clean excellent work from cars that I didn't buy because they were not the exact spec that I was searching for. When I look for any car besides the usual (no accident, no paint work, well maintained...etc...), I look for specific year/model, exterior/interior color, and option codes. I am very particular and selective when it comes to what to buy, and of course, when I look for a shop to work on my car, I am no different. Peter, Jeff and the team have gained my trust from my first visit last year. I knew I have a very well cared for and maintained car going in, but ESM went through a minor inspection with the DME read outs on the over revs and cam deviations along with other visuals. Besides helping me with the computer read out. I had some fluid changes and other minor issues done, and I was pleased with the clean work that they did. This time, I had ESM replaced the coil packs, spark plugs and the exhausts. I keep my cars in tip top shapes and maintained to specs at all times. I see the work that ESM have done so far, and they are clean and top notch from highly experienced technicians. Good honest indie shops with experienced techs are hard to come by. I am glad that ESM is so close to me. Make sure you make an appointment. As we all know that good shops are always busy. ESM is no exception. read more

Took my Audi in to investigate a strange noise which the dealer said was coming from the lock carrier, which holds the radiator. Dealer wanted to charge me $5K to fix as it's labor intensive. Jeff and I took a spin and he sensed that the noise was coming from the floor boards, not the engine compartment. He took the seat out, took up the carpet and lo and behold, there was a lipstick rattling around in there. Dealer had my car for a week and couldn't manage to figure that out. We looked at the part that the dealer said needed replacing. It was cracked, but Jeff said that it was not structural and there was no safety risk by not fixing it. Brought my 993 here to have them fix my spongy brake pedal. First they misdiagnosed it and told me I needed a new master cylinder. After paying for parts and labor the brakes were the same. They then changed my pads and lines, same issue. I then read some forums and realized it might be the abs pump. I sourced my own used one and they installed it and my brakes got better (but not fixed). They charged me for all of the above parts and labor even though it wasn't needed. Then proceeded to charge me 8 hrs labor for trying to figure out what was wrong with my brake and the install of the abs pump. They had my car for nearly a month and told me things I didn't need to replace. I then brought my car to a real Porsche mechanic and he told me my brakes shouldn't feel this way. He bled them once and bam, my brakes feel amazing. Took this new guy 1 hr to fix what euro spec couldn't do in a month. These guys were nice but had lousy customer service skills. Never called me to update me, I had to always call them. Giving them 2 instead of 1 star bc they did an oil change at a fair price and installed hood and trunk struts for a fair price also. Bottom line, these guys don't work on air-cooled and their knowledge on air-cooled is subpar. read more
