Then they said they didn't know what was hurting my jaw. Mind you this was a 3 to 4 hour procedure. I thought I had a stroke so I went to the hospital ER. After many tests and CT Scan the ER Dr. Said I had severe extreme TMJ most likely caused by the dental procedures I had done. It has now been a full year and I suffer now from this severe extreme TMJ. It's excruciatingly painful. I Cannot eat normal. I Cannot Open my mouth normal, I constantly have extreme severe headaches feels like my skull is being crushed. And insult to injury, I still need to have the filling completed on the root canal, but I cannot because I cannot open my jaw anymore without extreme pain. Cascadia Dental should have told me to wait until my first root canal was healed before rushing in to do a second procedure so soon after the first one. Bluntly I found Newcastle Dentistry warm and cold. Dr. Rosanna and her dental assistant were the warm aspects. I thought they were great for the little time they saw me. I was a bit surprised to find their x-ray machine was a bit inadequate. The last office I went to was able to x-ray all my teeth. This one's machine was unable to. The dental hygienist was cold. At first she was friendly, even complimented my teeth, but then seemed to become very irritated when I told her I rarely flossed. She went from friendly conversation to being very short and snappish. I also didn't care for the layout. It basically is the assembly line format - a line of chairs separated by dividers. I could hear everything going on around me, all the drilling, all the motors whirling. It did not comfort me. Upon checking out I was reminded how much I missed my old dental office's office staff. They weren't great at anything else but I always left with a cheery goodbye. The receptionist here barely said two words and it was enough that I opted not to schedule a follow up appointment.
