I called after hours and left a voicemail message asking for a call back about my issues; my phone rang at 7:50am this morning letting me know that if I was able, the service tech would be at my house between 9 and 10. The tech pulled in at 9:15 and after a quick discussion about what I'd been experiencing, the tech located the entry point in under 10 minutes. There was no sales pitch about everything they could do to my home to keep it mouse free, no talking down to me about what I didn't know about pest control - after a mutual conversation about the best way to handle the issue (fill the entry point with foam), I was told that because he was certain that's where the entry point was, he would fill it for free rather than jumping into a $300-$400 service plan understanding that I could call back if his fix didn't solve my problem. I was astounded and very happy that he would offer that service for free, but I couldn't let him do that - I ended up signing a quarterly contract that not only deals with bugs, but also mice. He fulfilled my first interior and exterior spray before leaving this morning. And...pretty much everything creepy crawly that Virginia seems to be home to. So, I called Loudoun Lawn and Pest. I thought if I could go with a small local company verses the big guys with the red diamond, I would. So, Loudoun Pest came out and gave me a quote which had a couple different options. For comparison's sake, I called the guys with the red diamond, and got a quote as well. I don't remember exactly the quotes, but they were pretty similar. After thinking about it and continuing to be thoroughly creeped out by the bugs invading my house, I called Loudoun Lawn and left a message that I was ready to move forward with a service. I got one return message... so I called back and left a message again. And I didn't get a return call. After a couple days, I called again and spoke with someone and gave my address. He said he'd look into the quote and call me back. ....and 1 1/2 weeks later I've never gotten a return call. One message not returned, I can excuse. Maybe it got lost. But a total of 2 calls without a return call especially after speaking with someone? This yanks my review down to 1 star. So, I went with the guys with the red diamond.

We just had them finish "critter proofing" our attic and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. The whole operation was professional - both the back-office team and the installers, Kody and Rob. Communication was solid, they showed up when they said they would, and the work quality was top-notch. They're not the cheapest option, but you truly get what you pay for. As the old saying goes: cry once, or cry over and over. They handled things the right way - humane control and a planned exit for the critters first, then they sealed everything up to future-proof the attic/roof from new incursions. What I also appreciated: no pushy upsells. No pressure to buy a new roof, insulation, or extra work you didn't ask for - just wildlife control done the right way. Of the three (all of them seemed knowledgeable), PMSI offered the best combination of service recommendations and price. We found Dennis the sales rep easy to communicate with, and I felt his observations about what was going on in the attic were very sharp. The team that did the work arrived promptly and did the final inspection for holes, installation of a temporary one-way door, and sealing in two visits. We heard some noises above us afterward and called the company. They sent a representative who checked the attic (I came up with him). He found no evidence of new infestation. I believe we were hearing animals on the roof trying to get back in. After the first few days, we no longer heard any noise, so we believe the problem has been solved. I would certainly go back to them for additional work. They did not try to up sell us, which we liked.
