What a meal! Absolutely one of the best steaks I've ever had in America, and I go all over! The Ribeye was magnificent. A+ to the sauteed mushrooms as well Can't wait to return!

I went back for the mushrooms. We ate there 20 yrs ago and I remembered 2 things- the steak was subpar and the mushrooms were the best that I had ever had. I have tried to find mushrooms at other places that are as good and they just don't exist. Last night I ordered the sirloin and it was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and was priced very well. I was very impressed with our meal last night. Everything tasted amazing. The serving staff was also very impressive. They made sure that you were taken care of without hovering over you all the time. They were also very engaging and friendly. And there just isn't any kind of atmosphere any better than an old wine cellar for a steakhouse. We just loved this as a place for a nice little date. We will definitely try to get back before 20 yrs has passed this time.

a-m-a-z-i-n-g steak. excellent food. good old fashion. great steaks. great food. highly recommended.

The steak was excellent. The salad was a bagged iceberg mix with one grape tomato. The baked potato was very basic. Service was subpar at best. We didn't get our drinks refilled. We sat next to the stairs. The foot traffic was to be expected but the stairs were VERY DIRTY and it was right next to me. Prices were higher than chain steak houses but I knew that before going. Steak quality made the price worth it but not the sides.

Wow is all I can say. I've been in FS for 5 months and this was my first time dining here. Overall a 9/10 in my book. By far the biggest steak I have ever eaten.. and perfectly cooked. We sat downstairs in the cellar, and at times it could get a tad noisy, however the history behind the room was worth the experience. Our server Austin was awesome, gave great drink recommendations and took care of us very well. Must visit if you're visiting FS or haven't had the chance to go. Will be back

Enjoyed the meal at Doe's. It was too much T-steak! Boy, so good. However, it is expensive! The place was very attractive!

Steak is great, sides taste like out of a can. Plastic Dishes make you feel like your eating at an elementary school cafeteria.

Of course the minute I realized the hotel didn't have a restaurant... my retirement road trip survival instincts kicked in: "Find closest pet-friendly patio immediately!" And WOW... what a find! This locally loved Fort Smith spot is known for its huge wine selection, cozy upscale vibe, incredible patio, craft cocktails, and surprisingly amazing food menu. Spot on. But honestly? The service may have stolen the show. We were greeted by the owners and the staff for the evening, and given a few options for dining locations as we didn't have a reservation and they had a large group being sat just after us. We loved that had an opportunity to dine at a table in the "jail" section. The restaurant was packed but it still felt warm and cozy for our date night meal. We had multiple, fantastic servers taking care of us. I didn't get to capture the appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip, but it was literally the best I've ever had and I even make my own! It was full of artichokes and spinach and it was in an amazingly light and fluffy white whipped dip served with fresh made breads onsite and pretzel bites from a local vendor. Our cocktails and wine were amazing. Then our main course arrived! One of our waiters was new and said the filet was the best he'd ever had, and he wasn't wrong! We travel often and dine all over, these filets were cut and prepared to perfection! We took his recommendation to add the blue cheese and blackened topper and it was phenomenal! The steaks literally cut like butter and melted in your mouth! Charred Pittsburgh style, medium rare and heavenly. Placed on a bed of mashed potatoes that blended in the warm blue cheese and asparagus, this meal made me feel like I was at NYC or Chicago's top steakhouses! If you live local or just passing through like us, don't miss this experience!!! It was absolutely delicious and at the top of my list for best steaks!!!

The chef was amazing, best crab cakes too. The ONLY downside was the server. He seemed, well, kind of out of it? Ordered 2 chocolate martini's...he made the first one and it looked and tasted just like chocolate milk then the manager brought out the second one and apologized for the first one and said he had to teach the server how to make it. Not a big deal, drank them both lol. It took him 20min to even bring us a menu after our waters, he brought us two diff menus and seemed confused and bothered when we asked him which one was correct (they had different entrees). Took a really long time to get us a to go box and then 20 more min to bring us the check after we asked for it. We were there super early so it wasn't very busy. Other than the waiter (he seemed very out of it), the food was delicious! Will def be back for a date night!

You'll likely enjoy Colton's as much or more…read more After a day of GPS induced adventures (seriously though HOW did it decide to send us on some of these roads???) we missed lunch so were famished by the time we got to our hotel and then this steakhouse. I almost took us to Chili's based on the star count. That would have been sad! Our shared order was for a "Texas Salad" topped with a grilled to order sirloin, a side of sweet potato fries and just water for our dehydrated selves. While waiting for that order, they started us with a bucket of peanuts followed quickly with four yeast dinner rolls with butter and "honey" (not real honey by my taste) in a syrup jar. Bottom line; we ate way too much but except for the rolls and syrup it couldn't have been better. The sirloin was as a perfect medium rare, seasoned nicely and really went perfectly with the salad. Sadly, we had eaten most of the meal by the time I thought about pictures. Mea Culpa. Along with all the above, Allison took care of us well. As for ambiance, seriously think of Texas Roadhouse decor and you have a basic idea.
