I've taken my dog to Marcela multiple times for a milk & ozone bath. My dog has allergies and this bath really helps mitigate some of her symptoms like the redness of her belly and paws. I don't really get her any hair cut other than a shave down in the summer and just a clean up on her paws and face the rest of the year. So far Marcela has done a good job with both. My dog never seems upset when I drop her off or pick her up which hasn't always been the case at other spots. I think the fact that there aren't a bunch of dogs around really helps with that. It's fairly calm (until I walk in and my dog begins to bark). I also love that there is a wide variety of dog treats available to fit the various dietary needs of different dogs. read more

She was incredibly knowledgeable and told me until my dog's quick is shortened, I shouldn't be cutting her nails. I took my pup in for a "summer cut" and was a little nervous about cutting his long hair off for the first time, but as soon as we showed up to pick him up he was so handsome! Marcela is simply the best in the area. I used to live in west La and I took my previous dog just about everywhere until I started using Hollywood grooming which was a mobile groomer not sure if they are still around. So when I got my new puppy I didn't know where to go until I found her reviews online saw the pictures and was sold. She was very accommodating I was able to get in the next day. When I went to the salon I was in love with her products and her doggy attire. Everything she has there is very thought out healthy snacks and cute outfits for your dogs. There is also a cool ice cream machine that she gave me a sample of cheese flavor I think and he absolutely loved it. I went back a couple days later to buy bacon flavor, he loves it after a day at the dog park. I just give him a little at a time since he is only six pounds. I get so many compliments on his hair cut and his fur is really soft and he smells so fresh. I also like how she takes her time for the grooming not like other places where they rush the process and book appointments back to back. She really cares about the dogs cage free process and calms the dogs in between washing and drying cutting etc. so they are not traumatized during the process.
