Fantastic service. The mobile grooming truck came to our house to take care of my pupper. They called me because they were going to arrive early (25 minutes early) which was perfectly fine by me, and I really appreciate that they called and checked. The grooming took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Longer than most places I have used in the past, but to me that just means that more time and care was given. When she was finished, the groomer made sure I took the time to look her over and approve of the cut. He offered to fix anything I didn't like - but she looked perfect! He was very cautious with my little girl because she has a lot of wart/skin tags that most other groomers have cut in the past. Not a single cut, no blood. She was well taken care of. I am extremely happy with them and will use their service again! They even told me that they will call in around 8 weeks or so for the next grooming - no need to call in advance for an appointment. read more

Yay! Five stars for a talented groomer, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I am always looking for a great groomer and I've run into several that were satisfactory. For awhile, I thought maybe that was as good as it got for a regular person. No more!! Dogstar showed me that regular people can get show dog hair cuts! Also, it costs the same as just an okay haircut! This groomer cut Ipso's nails properly. I've asked for this at other groomers and they either "ground" them with those weird filing things or clearly did not do anything. Not here! Ipso's nails had been expertly cut with clippers. Also, they trimmed the hair inside his ears and properly shaved the hair between his paws! This is a big deal for us as Ipso has pollen allergies and extra hair on his paw traps dirt and makes him itchy. Also, the grooming salon itself was very clean and all of the crates were open and not crowded. We mentioned that Ipso didn't love crates and they let him have a giant one. Also, the turn around time was great. He was dropped off at noon and we picked him up a bit before 2:30. They also gave him a cute bandana when he finished! Also, if you want to try specialty or breed specific cuts, they know how! They also will do scissor cuts and variety of other fancy options. 5 stars for an excellent Orlando dog grooming company. My wife and I wanted to get our dog groomed on short notice recently. Since our regular groomer wasn't going to be available for a few days, we decided to look over Yelp for options and found Dog Star Grooming. Located on Michigan Avenue near Mills, we arrived at the venue (parking in the back) after making a quick call and finding that they had same day availability. We walked inside and were greeted by the desk attendant (he looked a lot like Richard Branson...random, but interesting).We filled out a brief info sheet and then were told about the basics and prices. There were various options for various services we wanted done (although it was nice to have the nail trimming included in the $50 grooming price). He asked us questions about how we wanted certain parts of our dog trimmed, and then he let us walk our dog to the bag to place him in a nice and spacious cage that was located in a clean and open space. Finally, he told us that it would take about 2 1/2 hours and he would be ready to go. About 2 1/2 hours later (always nice to get an accurate time estimate), we received a call to come pick up our dog. Our dog has received an excellent haircut, which included having the little hairs cut inside his paws and a consistent cut throughout. We were then given the option of picking out a free bandanna (we picked the Star Wars option...never seen a place with non-generic free bandannas before) before paying and setting up a call about our next appointment in 8 weeks. The attendants kept a good balance of professional and friendly throughout our entire experience. Overall, Dog Star Grooming is a solid dog grooming venue with good prices, excellent service, lots of choices and options, and great execution. We will definitely be considering coming back the next time our dog needs a haircut. read more

I haven't gone to their location yet but I used their Mobil services a couple of times. They always arrived in time, very professional, animal lovers, very patient. I have a mutt that needs grooming and a Weimaraner that just needs baths and the obvious nails, anal glands and ears and I pay $110. The good thing is that I don't have to drive them and the price is only $5 more expensive that it would be in the store. I will continue to use their services! read more

They deserve all of their 5 star reviews! Just picked my miniature poodle up, and he looks great. Prices were very reasonable, and the staff was really friendly. They spent a long time with me making sure that they fully understood my expectations, which was appreciated. They also delivered a beautiful cut, and exactly what I wanted. I loved the attention to detail- it was a beautiful cut, and I noticed he did a great job doing very clean paws, which many groomers aren't great at. I'm also really particular about his nails, and his were trimmed expertly. I had several special requests (a Mohawk, specific look for ears and face) and they were all acknowledged and accommodated. I also liked the ease of scheduling, I was able to get in for a full groom pretty quickly. I can be pretty picky about groomers, but I'll definitely be coming back here. It was very worth it! I just used Dog Star Grooming Mobile today for the first time. I was completely satisfied and Joe did an amazing job. I tried them because my other grooming place would have to keep my pup for a long time and he would stay in the kennel until it was his turn. Understandable of course, but for $5 more I was able to do this from the comfort of my own home and he did not have to stay in the kennel at all. It took about 1hr and 10min - in and out. Rachelle is the best!! We've taken our basset hound, Malcolm, to several local groomers & it was so obvious he REALLY didn't like the groomer. We took him to Aunt B's Pet Grooming & when I came to pick him up I found him shoved into a tiny cage & heard him crying from outside. When I got him home I found his belly was still smelly & dirty, his ears weren't cleaned, his 2 rear paws' nails weren't clipped at all & the front paws were slightly shortened. Malcolm isn't exactly a fan of being groomed, but he does like Rachelle & we can trust she will treat him wonderfully & with kindness. She always does a great groom on him. I love the little bandanna he gets (even though his "Daddy" doesn't, hahaha). Her prices are awesome & she grooms all her clients fabulously! And she always has a super clean shop unlike so many other shops. Bring your doggies here!! read more
