Wow, where do I begin. Derek has been walking my dog for the last year and a half. I remember meeting Derek for the first time and came away from that first meeting feeling so much more comfortable about allowing my dog to be with a complete stranger. Derek is no longer a stranger but now a friend. Derek has been such a blessing for me and my dog Oliver. Derek is professional, flexible, observant, patient and extremely reliable. Derek has not only walked my dog but also helped my dog with training and socialization. When Derek hasn't been able to walk Oliver he has helped by contacting one of his colleagues to walk my pup. He even arranged to meet his fellow colleague to give them my key. I also have been in a pinch and needed help with boarding. Derek offered to watch my dog over a weekend while I went away. He even took him to the beach. He texted with check ins and also sent pictures which reassured me while I was away. I can't thank Derek enough for what he has done for Oliver and I. Derek is wonderful. I have an anxious, unsocialized dog who is difficult (at best) to be leashed by a stranger and afraid of every dog she meets. Derek not only was able to get her on a leash, but he worked her into his schedule as a solo walk so that she wouldn't have to be around other dogs. Derek is truly part of the family for over two years now. He was recommended by others in our building when we brought an 11 week old Siberian Husky puppy home, and we can't imagine life without him.
