have gone there for 1.5 years . was always told that i could come for a dry cut since i am not comfortable dropping my dog off since i've heard scarry stories . very last cut was a buzz that cause a severe razor burn . groomer was too lazy to do a comb out and shaved my pet too short and stated hair was matted in which case it was not. i'm glad i will no longer be going back as under no means should any dog matted or not be subjected to a razor burn that took weeks to heal . folks ! be aware of safety of your pets here . i never did a drop off and this still happened. and the nerve of the owner to up the prices - guess everyone's taking advantage of inflation read more

Im very disappointed i have been taking my dog there and this last time I realized my dog had cuts all over to the point it was infected. I'm sad to see that they never told me nor shared concerns. This is so unprofessional. She had ten cuts on her. I understand 2 cuts possible but so many! She would not eat and after removing the bandana we discovered how bad it was. I will not be returning, no dog should have experienced this many. At least explain to your customer. read more

I have taken my pup there a few times and this last time was an awful experience. Came home to notice both of my dogs ears were cut and she was bleeding a lot on both ears. She was crying and wouldn't let me near them. Than her bottom is big, red and swollen. Looks like they used a dull or too strong blade. She can't even walk without freaking out and crying. I called asking what I could do they just said put neosporin and did not offer anything. I'm surprised they did not tell me about the cuts on her ear, when I called they wear aware that they were there.Not happy with the result and now a vet visit is needed due to the inflammation and possible infection. Do not recommend. It's unfortunate because the staff is nice and I have enjoyed other cuts in the past, but I can't risk my pup being in this much pain again. The company needs to do something for us otherwise I will have to take our dogs some where else. It's so frustrating cause my fur baby can't even WALK!!! I'm so upset to see her in so much pain! I'm not one to ever be upset it's okay if her hair was cut badly but the fact she is INJURED is ridiculous. Update: groomers called us and explained to us this was due to matting and offered a free haircut on our next visit! I received a 15% off coupon in the mail yesterday for new customers via Money Mailer. I called today to inquire about their services and was rather abruptly told that "I am not taking on any new customers"....so I think to myself 'why are you sending out coupons then to new customers??' I was then told to hold onto my coupon and when I need my dogs groomed again to call, and they will see if they can "take me then" The woman on the phone (who I am guessing was the owner she talked in "I")didn't even offer to take my information and contact me when they have an opening. Needless to say, my coupon is in the trash and I will not be calling them again ever. I would worry about taking my beloved pets to a place where they don't even have common sense. read more

Today when we picked up our miniature schnauzer she looked more like a pharaoh hound - unrecognizable. We wanted her fur trimmed and sure we hadn't brushed her as often as we should have but they shaved her beard all the way down to the bone (I have never seen her face this shape before) and had the nerve to ask my father if he was going to tip them for their crappy workmanship. We have been going to Dog Gone Clean for about 18 years. We never had a complaint until today. Picked our Cairn Terrier up and got him home after a bath and cut. After getting home we noticed his ear had been cut. There was dried blood and scabbing. The employee did not mention anything and just let us take him home. He has never been a problem for them to cut before. He doesn't fidget or snap at people. I don't think we will return. read more

I've Been taking the family dogs here for at least 20+ years with great service. They do a great job on my German Shepards, the long hair one is show quality when she leaves. I suggest the oatmeal bath, a little bit more but better for dogs skin and coat. read more

I take my dog there every 2 weeks to get groomed she is a golden and has a lot of hair. They are all so sweet and love my dog, and she barks a lot but they are very loving and calm her down. They always send her home smelling and looking like a whole new dog! It is amazing they work their magic on her all the time. Terri and Mandy are amazing they are the best groomers I know!!!! I give Dog Gone Clean an excellent! The staff is extremely helpful and nice. I was talked to like a friend and not just another customer. My dog only needed basic grooming done and she looked and smelled beautiful when I went to pick her up. Instead of a bow (she's a Frenchie, she has short hair) she got bling on her ears! Adorable! My husband and I brought our 2 dogs in to get their nails trimmed. They were brought in the back where we could see them get trimmed. Our lab was extremely nervous and I felt that neither of the staff did anything but make her more agitated. The owner proceeded to KIck a dogs cage (as the dog in it was barking) and shouted for it to stop barking! We could not believe our eyes! I feel bad for any pet that is left there in a cage and may be yelled at or worse! We were so upset, obviously forced to warn other pet owners out there.We will Never go back. read more
