It was the same the next morning, so I took him to emergency care since my vet didn't have any open appointments. I noticed he had several burrs, the painful kind in his tail and fur. The vet found burrs in his ears and after Knocking him out and X-rays we were told nothing was wrong that they could see except a little swelling in his hindquarters. The next day he was back to running around his yard and gas been the same since. My vet bill was astronomical, and no-one has called to see how he is. And I paid extra for walks where ge picked up these burrs.

One thing that many negative reviewers don't know is that Best Pets only rescues dogs, not purchase them from breeders. So the dogs may not always be in the best condition and the staff do their best to give them the best care. They took in my ball python when he became too picky for me to be able to feed him, and they rehomed him to a wonderful family. I also bought my love and life, a ferret who was given away to them, and they gave me a great deal on her supplies. Now, service can be a bit slow or pricing on items your trying to sell can be a bit cheap but I totally understand, some days there's only one person on the floor and other times, business is bad and can't give too much for people's supplies. Overall, I love this store for the memories and the staffs knowledgeable information on animals.

I arrived within a half hour after she was supposed to be there. it had snowed around an inch. No footprints, no tire tracks, but the check was gone (30 for an hour). I called, she said "her assistant" called and got there an hour earlier than she was supposed to. First off, didn't know dianna was not the one watching our dog. She never mentioned that. Doesn't matter that much I guess. Secondly, as I told her, we use specific times because she needs to go to the bathroom within a certain time frame. Doesn't help if you show up an hour after we leave. Then, this spring she was supposed to be here from 5-6 o'clock. We came home early at 5:10. She was already gone as was the check. Her note said, long walk, and Dianna always marks down that she's done a #2. I think not. Not every time. So we bought a nanny cam. Set it up in the front window and BAM, BUSTED! She walked in, didn't even pet our dog, walked by her and we believe (couldn't see the back yard) let her out in the back yard. She was in and out in 7 MINUTES !!!!! Yep took the check, note read long walk, did a number 1 and 2. And we put new bags on her leash handle, and the sticker was still on them. I watched the whole thing for 7 minutes. Called her a half hour after she was supposed to be gone and told her she was fired. Her excuse was she had to get a ride to our house. So? So that means don't do the whole time your paid for? She returned the check and key. My suspicion is she's been doing this for quite a while. Does she even like animals? Hard to say. Our nanny cam also has sound and it sure sounded like she was yelling at our dog in the kitchen. DO NOT USE HER !!!!
