I have to change my review. I took all my dogs in for nail trims and their nails were long. They come to the car to get your dog and then bring them back when done. All my dogs came back with short nails. Much too short for how long they were. I took my GSD to another groomer a few weeks later and she would not go inside. She was traumatized from Our Turn hurting her doing her nails. It took me 3 more times before I could get her to walk in the groomers door. She is now happy again. Would not go back here with my dog. I can't imagine the pain the went through. read more

There's only one word to describe Our Turn Pet Center - AMAZING! I have a senior dog, who is partially blind and deaf, so he easily gets scared by, well, by everything. He is also a pug, and anyone who knows pugs knows they HATE to get their nails clipped. Mine won't even let you touch his feet. It's embarrassing to admit, but he's been terrible to every groomer and vet in the area. He refuses to let them cut his nails at all, to the extent that they won't do it or even try anymore. But the nails were getting too long and we had to figure something out. My wife happened upon Our Turn completely by accident - we live 35 minutes from here. Well happy accident it was. Melissa was absolutely wonderful. She was happy to fit our pup in after hours, her recommendation, to help keep him a little calmer since there wouldn't be other dogs there to distract him. She came out to the car and swooped him up. Giving him so much love as she carried him inside. When she came out a few minutes later, my wife had to assume it was unsuccessful, but no! They cut his nails no problem, and he even came out calm as he went in. These people have the magic touch, but more importantly, you can see there love for animals. You can trust these folks with your pets, and for that I'm extremely grateful! read more

This is the first time I brought my aussiedoodle here and he looks amazing! They girls carried him out to the car because it was raining and they didn't ant his feet to get wet. Maybe the most helpful thing I can tell you is that I have been bringing my German Shepherd to Renegades for 4 years for boarding and grooming. If I even say "Renegades", or the names of Ron, or his assistant, Melissa, around the house, he gets incredibly excited. And when he's in the car and get close to Renegades, he can barely contain himself. That's how good Renegades is! I have boarded dogs at a number of kennels in multiple states over the years. Renegades is, by far, the best. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, and the facilities are spacious, clean and efficiently run. Dogs are handled with their well-being in mind, and the owner, Ron, is a great guy who lives on the premises. His staff is friendly and courteous, and handles dogs with compassion and great care. Our Turn is a great place to have your dog groomed or boarded. Melissa is very accommodating and takes excellent care of our dog when she is there. We have been so pleased with their grooming and the TLC they provide during her boarding stays. Our dog now recognizes the route when we are driving to Our Turn and gets more and more excited as we approach the facility. I have been taking our foster dog for training with Melissa and Tom and they have been wonderful. Melissa and Tom have been great in teaching her the sit, down, stay, gentle, release commands and also praising her with excitement. They have taught our foster how to behave in many different realistic situations that can come up. The advice and training I have been given by them has really helped me feel more confident with our foster dog. I am so glad I decided to get the training our foster needed with Melissa and Tom. I feel I have learned so much in how best to train our foster and we all have seen an improvement in our foster dog's behavior. Also, when we boarded our foster dog there and saw how personable they were we decided to board our other two dogs as well when we went on vacation. We felt they got wonderful attention and care they needed on a daily basis. We will be using them from now on for the boarding of our dogs. read more
