Quick and easy training for our pup! The training works. I would recommend Dog Gone Smart for anyone looking to train their dog.

I immediately gravitated towards her because she had a way of explaining things that made sense to me. We stayed in touch even after puppy graduation and I would text her from time to time to ask questions or stay in touch. I found her on social media and loved her training information. Then when my now 1.5 year old puppy was full grown and became harder to manage we got back in touch and she'd offer suggestions. Finally when she neared the age of 2 I realized I needed professional help Amillie came in and once again explained things even on our first session in a way I could understand and broke down behaviors for me. I actually have 2 giant breed Greater Swiss mountain dogs and she has helped me with training both of them. Mainly frustration reactivity for my younger female "puppy" and then being able to successfully loose leash walk both of them together (2 strong willed and physically strong, with a combined weight of ~200 lb) female dogs. Each time we meet I leave with so much information. She's been great and I only wish we started training them with Amillie when my girls were younger. You won't regret this partnership or Amillie's expertise. Training comes natural to her. It's a gift and that's with me already having had 2 large breed independent dogs before working with her!

Now that I no longer live in my old place or in the area, I feel more comfortable writing this…read more Jeremy walked my dog for a few months after I moved to San Diego. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

The team goes above and beyond making sure not only that the cats are well take care of, but they also gather our mail, have taken the garbage cans in on trash day and tidy up inside when the cats make a mess. She was fantastic, even brought Cody a bag of toys and treats! Needless to say, they are top notch, professional, and responsive. We use an app, that allows us to get daily updates and photos and messages about our fur baby. They are always punctual and caring and I can not recommend them enough. Cats and dogs, it is not easy to find a cat sitter in San Diego, we no longer could depend on family and friends, so this was a huge weight off our shoulders, now that we have Paws Play, we can go away whenever we want and know that our cat will be well cared for. Thank you Jessica and Erik! We highly recommend them for your fur babies!

It took me a long time to finally find a cat groomer for my fluffy 1.5 year-old Persian cat,…read moreArthur. I chose Pampered Paws based on John's extensive experience with cats and the reviews on this page from other cat owners. It was Arthur's first professional grooming experience thus, I had no idea how he'd behave or how it would turn out. I took Arthur to John's residence where his pet grooming van is parked. John gives a 10% discount for coming to him which I thought was very generous of him. I'd gladly bring my kitty to him regardless. John was extremely patient and kept me updated as things progressed. It took 3.5 hours total because Arthur would only let John work on him if he was held on his lap as it helped him feel secured. It took a lot of TLC for Arthur to successfully receive his first grooming experience and not traumatized by it. John is simply a godsend. He's knowledgeable about cat behaviors which greatly helps when grooming stressed cats. He also cares about the anxieties of the pet owner and his clear as well as regular communication during the process made such a huge difference. I highly recommend John's awesome cat grooming service and look forward to the next visit! Thank you so much, John for such a great experience!

John went out of his way to schedule my two pups in even though he was extremely booked. I didn't…read moreeven expect or ask him to do this at all. I really appreciated this and it did not go unnoticed. This is my first experience with John let alone a mobile groomer or any groomer for that matter. I usually bathe my dogs myself and brush them daily but I was getting tired of all the hair around the house (vacuuming daily) and brushing daily yet they still had tangles (but they were still cute). Anyway, John took great care to make sure Lucy and Harley were comfortable. He gave them treats (he asked first if that was ok of course). John also sent me photos of them on text. I don't know if this is standard but he put "Happy Hoodies" on them and sent me a picture and text explaining what they were. He was also extremely considerate of my dogs reaction to the high velocity hose and let me know he was going to gentle dry them. Lucy and Harley look great and John was easy to work with. He was very receptive when I asked him to make small changes afterwards (they were very minor changes). Harley especially took to John and went back outside to the front porch to say goodbye to John at the front door. John is very kind and is passionate about what he does - I appreciate this and highly recommend him!
