Clean, well staffed, excellent spot for a delicious meal in the afternoon. We sat outside (it's quieter). Good time.

Juicy, white meat chicken fingers and tots
Blake G.

Good Saturday midday visit to check this place out. You order at the door on the way in so while I wasn't rushed, it was a bit overwhelming to muster up an order. We ordered chicken tenders and tots for our son. Tots were great, tenders were decent but could use a bit of flavor in the breading. My wife and I boy got the chicken sandwich. The menu refers to it as Nashville style which it didn't have that distinct Nashville feel. The sandwich was spicy, juicy, and quite delicious. The serve it on what appears to be four slider rolls. Great flavor and dressed well. A lot of chicken too. I'd come back for that sandwich alone. Decent beer menu with varied offerings. Fooseball is free and a great bonus for our 9 year old. TVs showing the football games good sports bar feel. Kid friendly, at least during the lunch crowd.

We Love Wieners
Jessica D.

The food was good, I had the corn dog that had a root beer batter. Very greasy though if you are the type with hall bladder issues. My husband got a wiener and my son in law got one of the burgers. They come on toasted Hawaiian buns. My grand daughter and grandson got a hot dog and chicken finger kids meal. You order at the counter and they call your number when it's ready. But the service was fast and good. They have a bar, regular tables and a patio. In a industrial setting. The garbage near the door was just a little messy with glasses sitting on top. They advertise breakfast but they don't open til 10.

Good selection of beer. Food was OK. Interesting place. Hotdogs are good but pricey!

This is a solid casual bar/burger joint. We liked: - Clean, comfy dining room - Toasted Hawaiian roll - Delicious slaw - Properly crispy fries - The front-of-house staff with the perfect level of friendliness and attentiveness - I didn't think I'd say this, but the TV We didn't love: - Crispy onions on Sooo Cali. We'd much prefer diced fresh onions (is it possible to substitute without extra charge?) Can't wait to go back!

I was in the Clifton Park area looking for a place to eat when The Exchange caught my interest…read more On that premise, I decided to stop in and give it a try. Knowing that, I ordered the medium wings as an appetizer and they were tasty. To make clear, the wings were crispy and juicy. Also, the sauce was flavorful and had a nice spice to it. Following that, I ordered the Barn Burger with fries for my entree. With that known, the burger was delicious. To explain, the meat was juicy and cooked to perfection. Similarly, the garlic mayo was excellent and it helped elevate the burger. In addition, the bun was fresh and enjoyable. My only problem with the burger was that the caramelized onions were undercooked. However, the burger was still very good. In like manner, the fries were pretty tasty as well. To enlighten, the fries were hot, crispy, and salted well. As a final point, The Exchange is a good restaurant with solid burgers and fries.

The siracha mayo gave the tacos just the right amount of spice, and don't let it fool you being listed on the appetizers menu, because it is a whole meal in itself. I don't know if the siracha overpowered the blackened seasoning, or if the blackened was just grilled. The steak frites special sounded amazing but no one in our party ordered it, but they do have specials. Sweet potato fries were a little soft, not quite crispy.

My friend, Barb, and I make a trek to Clifton Park about every 6 - 8 weeks to shop at Trader Joe's…read more Our gals' day out starts at lunch, where we often try a new restaurant. Another friend, Pam, had highly recommended Emma Jayne's Restaurant which is only a couple of traffic lights from Trader Joe's - a perfect location for our trip. The restaurant sits just north of Fred the Butcher (next door, literally) for those who frequent that establishment, on Route 9. There is off-street parking. When we arrived at 12:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, the front parking spaces were full. (Note: there may be parking around back; I didn't check) We thought we might have to wait for a table. Wrong! The restaurant is surprisingly spacious with two large rooms furnished with tables that were thoughtful spaced apart. A photo of an adorable young girl, whom we assumed was the dining establishment's namesake, was on the wall. Let me be sure to mention that the ladies room, which smelled faintly of bleach, was spotless. I mean REALLY clean! About the food ... my friend and I shared an appetizer of Fried Calamari. It was an ample portion (took some home) accompanied by sweet chili sauce - a nice change from typical marinara served at other places. However, the calamari was small and overcooked. As a result, what was presented was a plate of small, overly crisp rings of 90% batter. No squid! For our entrees, Barb chose the Chicken Salad Sandwich. She requested that it be served on a pretzel bun (touted as homemade) for which we were hit with an up-charge of $3.50. The chicken salad had grapes and walnuts in it and Barb liked it very much. The up-charged pretzel roll did not appear to be homemade. Very disappointing. Had she known it would be uninspiring, she would have accepted the brioche roll. Macaroni salad - not very exciting - accompanied the sandwich along with a pickle. I love seafood and was torn between ordering the Fish and Chips (halibut) and Lobster Pot Pie (an appetizer). Our server, Drew, gets a gold star for suggesting the second one when I told him I wasn't a big eater. Apparently, the halibut, while highly recommended, is a sizable portion. The pot pie was superb! The rich, creamy sauce was divine. I couldn't eat it all and will enjoy the rest of it for lunch today. Emma Jayne's menu has something for everyone. Our server, Drew, was informative and attentive. While we may make other food choices (skip the calamari and pretzel bun but keep the pot pie), we will definitely return.

"Taco Tuesday" "prime Rib night" Cons: Menu said the entrees came with bread service, but no bread was received. I was looking forward to the bread, but felt uncomfortable outright asking because the server was being so kind and trying their best. Staffing: It was not too busy, as there were around 5 tables seated and 6 people at the bar. Service speed was slow, but there was good reason for this as they're down one staff member. It was unclear if the kitchen was cranking out room service orders for the Hilton as well since I went on the day of the Belmont. Ambiance: There is a lovely photo-op wall with a neon sign and disco like backdrop! Each table has flowers and a candle and the tables are sturdy. Taste: Enjoyed the food that I ordered and felt the portions were appropriate and well portioned for the pricing. My server, Bruno, he assisted me with a new menu item that they just placed on the menu, the Lemon Chicken. It was tart and the chicken skin was crisp. All in all, good experience - it took considerably longer than I had expected, but I noted regulars while I was there as well.

We ordered a specially sauced wings dish (I can't remember the exact name), a classic burger, and onion rings. My son loved the burger, while my husband and I absolutely loved the jumbo wings and what were honestly the best onion rings we've ever had. Before we ordered, the server mentioned that the chefs really know what they're doing--and we 100% agreed after eating. The food was amazing, but what really stood out was the atmosphere. It felt like a place full of regulars, with a very warm and welcoming vibe. The staff seemed genuinely relaxed and happy, and there was a lot of friendly interaction and joking between employees and customers, which I really loved. We had such a great experience that it looks like I'll be signing my son up for more classes :))

I really like The Flats in Clifton Park. I've been here several times for dinner and lunch, along with their Christmas breakfast and Mother's Day buffet brunches. Their buffets are excellent. They're around $50 per adult and about $20 for kids, and in my opinion they're worth it if you enjoy a good brunch buffet. Today they had carving stations with roast beef and turkey sliced fresh in front of you, build your own omelets, chocolate chip waffles, chicken nuggets, potato pancakes, sausage, bacon, mac and cheese, herb chicken and rice, seafood, and a huge dessert selection. There were so many desserts I couldn't possibly name them all, but some included chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispie treats, lemon meringue pie, chocolate mousse pie, Oreo mousse pie, mini cheesecake cupcakes, and plenty of other goodies. I will say the chocolate mousse pie tasted good but was a little gritty in texture. I love me some chocolate mousse pie ordinarily but today I actually preferred the Oreo mousse pie. That being said everything is all you can eat, and it's all very good. It was extremely busy today, which was expected, but service was still excellent. That's been consistent every time I've visited here. The restaurant itself has a nice industrial-style feel and a covered patio area that I really like. It's a newer place that's only been open a few years, at least from what I'm aware of. Most places around here seem to do brunches but not true buffet brunches anymore, and I personally enjoy a good buffet brunch, so this place really stands out to me. If you get the chance to attend one of their buffets, I'd definitely recommend it. I know I will return in the future. 5 stars

The atmosphere is inviting, open and plain beautiful. Our waiter Doug was awesome - he was extremely knowledgeable of their menu items and their cocktails. I had a Blood Orange Old Fashioned which was off the charts (and I am an Old fashioned Drinker). And they have a great wine selection. The food and the service was excellent. Their pricing is very fair. As my wife and I were sitting there between apps and dinner I witnessed a young employee clean a table and chairs nearby where a couple had just left, and I have to tell you, I have been in restaurants all over the U.S. and Europe for many many years and I have never witnessed the thorough job this kid did - you would swear it was Covid all over again! I was blown away at the detailed cleaning. At that point in my book they hit a home run in every category and I had to let the Manager know how impressed we were. The Manager Christine came over to the table and I gave her and her staff an A+ in every category. I'll close by sharing this - People always make the time to complain about something but rarely make the time to let people know they have gone above and beyond and did a great job. My hat is off to The Grille and the people who make the place a hit - their employees! Job well done guys - don't change a thing and we will be back very very soon. Thanks for a great evening out. I said on our next visit we wanted to try the burgers and tacos. Yes, we tried the burgers this time, so we were at least halfway successful. We both ordered the Steakhouse Burgers ($21) served with wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheddar, and a cabernet sauce. These burgers were delicious! The meat was a perfect medium rare as each of us requested, the rolls were soft and fresh, the cabernet sauce had an exceptionally good flavor, and combined with the sautéed onions and melted cheese provided just the right amount of moisture and gooeyness. I chose to have my burger served with the standard French fries which they call Dipple Fries if ordered separately as a side. (Google "dipple fries cutter" to see how they are shaped.) My wife substituted a Caesar salad for the fries for an up charge of $5. The salad was quite good and large enough for her to share some of it with me. We also had a bottle of Saratoga sparkling ($9) and a pint of Wolf Hollow Amber ($8.50). Our server, Jordin, was truly pleasant on our last visit and again on this one. Maybe next time we'll remember to try the Tacos. There WILL be a next time.

We were a group of nine that included a few children. We went all out. The clear soup was good and flavorful. The salad was fresh and we loved the dressing. The scallops and shrimp were meaty and perfectly grilled. Others got steak cooked to their liking and some got salmon. Apps were edamame and a dragon roll and spicy tuna. Hibachi is always fun and they are pros on fun. They handled our group with humor and the theatrics you've become accustomed to at hibachi dinner were on point.
