My daughter had the fish and chips special as did my friend. Again, okay, not great but not terrible. Take the soup off your menu- that would be my advice. Next time I go with wings and a salad. The restaurant which is known for its gluten free (GF) items, had no allergy signs posted to indicate what items were GF. Later I discovered this was because there were literally NO GF items other than the burnt scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, salad and shrimp. The most concerning to me as a nurse was watching the tongs getting crossed contaminated between the shrimp tray and the sausage and bacon tray. The Easter brunch was the worse brunch we had ever experienced. Our party of eleven will not be returning to Wheatfields! Such an expensive disappointment.
