What a solid meal! The dog itself was superb, not too greasy or fatty and tasted beefy. The roll was toasted well. Fried onions added a nice touch but made it hard to eat. Appreciate the avocado and tomato to be healthy. Stand out was those sweet potato fries tho, hot and crispy with the perfect amount of salt. Staff is friendly and helpful, the inside looks like a cool bar to hang out with friends. And their take out bags are so cute!

Ordered Togo twice. The foods were yummy. It was very messy tho lol no clean way to eat the hotdogs unless, you get it with very little toppings. Service was alright. The first time, my nephew went inside to pick it up. I picked up the 2nd time. Not sure of his experience, but mine was whatever. There was no sign about where to pick up mobile/online order. I went to the ordering side and waited for the 2 guys in front to finish ordering. This other customer came straight to the front and got his stuff. I guess I didn't have to wait...smh Street parking/meter parking

What a vibe. Honestly, they have great outdoor seating that's secluded and private, but at the same time still feels inviting. As for the inside, there's a nice bar and plenty of other seating available. You order at the front and they bring the food right to you! The service itself is whatever, and so is the beer selection, but when it comes to the food, I don't think you'll ever be disappointed.

There's street parking or a structure parking to get here. You'll have to walk down an alley a bit and it'll be on the left. They have loads of indoor and outdoor seating. It's very chill and casual. A good place to watch some sports. The staff are are nice and lax. You'll order first then get a number for the staff to bring your food. The register is down some stairs but there's a mini elevator for those in a wheelchair. The restroom is a bit grungy but manageable. I got the holy aioli burger. It was tasty, with a good amount of pink in the patty. I do enjoy the Hawaiian rolls. The fries are great, they have that restaurant seasoning coating. I'd return to try more of the menu. They have cocktails that look interesting.

My experience was pretty bad. Came here at night last week, still had 3 hours till closing. Order some hot dogs and tots. Wanted to grab a beer, ask bartender for it and tells me out of stock. Okay that's normal, sometimes the restaurant can't control that. So I then ordered a fountain drink. Finish the transaction, immediately go to the soda machine and pick my first option. I try it, it's pure sparkling water. Go to the second option, pure sparkling water again. Go to the third option, pure sparkling water. At this point, I want a refund on the fountain drink because I paid and this machine doesn't seem to be working. I do not ask the bartender for a refund because a massive group of 20 just walked in, I just let it go. Food comes in shortly after I order, boom, next mistake. There's mustard on my hotdog. I didn't want mustard and I asked for no mustard, receipt says no mustard. I try my best to wipe it off and just eat it. Very disappointed in this place, will not be coming back and I do not recommend. Also, one of the bartenders made a fart noise with his mouth and hands towards a regular/his friend. No biggie for me, but he started pouring drinks after that. No hand wash or hand wipe? Kind of gross, luckily for me I was already getting to leave.

The Ringer Burger and cheeseburger were tasty. The Impossible slider was better than expected, especially with the onion inside. The fries were crispy, and the tots were just as enjoyable. I'd come back for sure. Staffs are so nice, only no parking in front of the restaurant. I will come back.

moldy hawaiian bun... so disappointed because this was so expensive .

Wish I could give less stars. This place is already pricey and decided to splurge . Was very disgusted and disappointed when i found mold on my bun. Tried to call this location to warn them about possibly serving this bread to others but the phone is disconnected. Figures .

This was our first time at this Biergarten. Finding the entrance was a little weird since the address is on Green St., but as we turned the corner into a wide walkway (probably looking a bit confused) a guy sitting at the patio waved at us and pointed at the entrance. There's one register at the end of the counter on the right side as you walk in. The team member who took our order was welcoming and friendly. There were several customers at the bar enjoying the football games on multiple screens. We chose a corner table towards the back. Our order came out impressively fast and accurate. We didn't need to ask for anything else. The BABBs (Chachi, Pastrami) and the Southwest Tots were excellent -- the best ones we've had in comparison to the other locations we've visited so far. The place was very clean and organized. Most of the customers seemed to be there for drinks and to watch sports. There were a couple moments of loud cheers, but nothing obnoxious. There are several tables at the large outdoor space where it's quieter. Overall, a really nice experience. There's more than enough parking in the area. We chose a public garage nearby at the corner of Raymond and Green -- $1 for the first 2 hours then $2 for the next hour.

Kind of off the beaten path. But was able to find. There's a structure on Raymond or you can look for street parking. We found street parking off of arroyo? Bartender was nice and helpful. Plenty of seats inside and outside with sports games being played on TVs. Food was hot n fresh and didn't take too much time. It was pretty clean for a bar. We ate two Ringer burgers, chili cheese tots, and fries. Was plenty for 2 people. We'd come back again.

Harrison Ford - Shrinking. Dog Haus Pasadena.

A great place to unwind in Pasadena. A little trivia: a scene from the TV show Shrinking (AppleTV) has Harrison Ford sitting outside right in front of this Dog Haus! The staff here is always professional and courteous which makes this place stand out. I like the SoCali dog. They also have a deep selection of beer on tap, making it a consistently well-managed spot and a great place to grab a bite while enjoying the Old Town Pasadena atmosphere. Highly recommended.

What We Ordered: -Cowboy $10.99 -Old Town $10.99 -Hot Dog Sliders Kids Meal $10.99 -Chili Cheese Tots $6.99 I've been wanting to visit Dog Haus Biergarten for a while now, and we finally went to see what all the fuss was about! I signed up for email notifications a while back and am constantly reminded of Dog Haus, especially when I see those enticing new menu items. This is their second location, which opened in 2011, and they're now a national chain with locations in 10 different states. I ordered the Old Town dog, and it was fantastic! It had a nice kick to it, and I love that all their dogs come on King's Hawaiian rolls. While it might seem pricey to some to pay over $10 for a dog, considering most chili cheese dogs cost $7-$8, I think a fancy, dressed-up dog for $11 is worth it. We also tried the Chili Cheese Tots, which were a good take on chili cheese fries, although the portion size was a bit small for the price. The dipping sauces were amazing and took the tots to the next level! My wife enjoyed the Cowboy dog, and our son loved the kid's meal, especially the fries. I'd love to try some of their burgers and chicken sandwiches next time. We will definitely be back, and we really want to try their original location next!

This spot opened about a year ago, and has a cool speakeasy style entrance at the Highland Park Bowl bowling alley. It is a small space, and I would highly recommend making a reservation on Resy. You have 90 minutes to drink and dine. I parked behind the bowling alley where there is a medium sized pay parking lot. Park in a space, remember your space number painted on the ground, and go to the pay station at the end of the lot. I found the parking machine to be extremely finicky as did other people. After ten minutes of failure, I ended up moving my car to another space, and then it worked. This has nothing to do with the Lucky Tiki, but FYI if you park there. We walked around to the front of the bowling alley, and checked in. Seating options include at the bar, tiki hut booths, and high top tables. The décor inside is a tiki lovers paradise. The room has a high ceiling with many tiki lamps, floats, puffer fish, tiki huts, thatch, ropes, barrels, netting, carvings, a hanging canoe, and a large tiki right in the middle of the space. In addition to the great décor, when you order certain drinks, special effects are triggered. There was also great tiki music playing all evening. We sat at the bar since we always enjoy talking to the bartenders. We actually ran into Skipper Christian in the parking lot on the way in, and he ended up being our main bartender, with Nick and Jo also working behind the bar. We put in a food order right away. The chicken potstickers ($12) came with five tasty bites, and the garlic teriyaki dipping sauce was good. We also had the giant pretzel ($16) which comes with mustard, beer cheese, and ranch sauces. This was excellent, and the perfect filling snack before a bunch of drinks. My first drink was the Siren's Song (Flor de Cana Eco rum, lemon juice, cassis, Oloroso sherry, apricot foam topper, $19). This drink is served in a great mermaid with skull mug and triggers special sound effects and bubbles fill the air. Those bubbles on top of the drink had a great light citrusy apricot flavor, probably the best flavored bubbles I've ever had. The drink itself was very good and balanced with some complexity. She wasn't sure what to order at first, and Christian asked her what flavors she liked. He ended up making a spin on a Tradewinds with some mango and pineapple to go along with the apricot and coconut. It was nicely balanced and not too sweet, even with all that fruit in there. My second drink was the Sun of Suns (Tierra de Acre mezcal, coconut cream, Giffard mango liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice, $17). This was coconut and pineapple forward with some good smokiness in the background. Her second drink was the Whatever Floats Your Boat (Ford's gin, lemon juice, velvet falernum, orgeat, passion fruit syrup, guava soda, topped with hazelnut passion fruit foam, $19). It is served in a cool boat mug, and triggers thunder sound effects and lighted mechanical Polynesian tiki characters paddling a canoe over the bar. This was another good balanced drink. It was a little gin forward and the passion fruit popped out, maybe from being both in the drink and the foam top. That creamy hazelnut passion fruit form on top is delicious. I'd happily have a glass of that on its own. We were still a little hungry so we ordered the Hawaiian pizza (marinara, diced pepperoni, red onion, pineapple chunks, hot capicola ham, $16). It was another good tasting, perfectly sized snack, and the crust was light and airy. We were already fifteen minutes over our time limit, but we got the green light to stay longer to order a third drink to share. We ordered the Tiki Diablo (Flor de Cana Eco rum, Worthy Park 109 rum, Alma Tepecha chile liqueur, orange juice, lime juice, mango syrup, guava soda, $24). This drink serves two people, is served in a cool volcano bowl with glowing red lava around it, and comes with a fire show. Unfortunately, right after it was served, the host came over and said we were over our time and had to leave shortly. Christian made up for it by giving us two tall pours to go enjoy in the bowling alley bar area which was fine. We were happy we got some extra time inside. The drink was also very good, balanced with a little complexity. We had a great time. There is so much great décor to look at. The drinks and food were very good, and some of the the drink presentations and special effects were the icing on the cake. All of the bartenders were very friendly and a lot of fun. We purchased up a few zombie glasses to take home as a souvenir. I'd definitely recommend visiting the Lucky Tiki in Highland Park!

I'm a second-generation Irish-American from New York, and St. Patrick's Day has always meant something in my family. Growing up it was about heritage, family, and a little joy. Now that I have two daughters of my own -- very Irish-looking girls who are proud of their roots -- I wanted them to experience some of that same Irish pub spirit. So on St. Patrick's Day 2025, I took them to Griffin's of Kinsale in South Pasadena. They were so excited to be there -- the decorations, the music, the feeling of a real Irish pub. For a moment I thought, this is going to be a great memory for them. We came early because it was a school night. The restaurant was busy -- which is understandable on St. Patrick's Day. I ordered three salmon dinners for my daughters and myself. The bill came to about $150. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Over an hour and a half. During that entire time: * No one warned us the kitchen was backed up when we ordered. * No one checked on our table. * No updates. * No communication at all. Had someone simply said "Just so you know, food may take an hour or more tonight," I could have made a different decision -- especially with two kids who had school the next morning. Instead we sat downstairs watching the clock while the evening disappeared. By the end of the night my daughters -- who had been so excited walking in -- were tired, hungry, and miserable. When I asked to speak with a manager, no one came. No explanation. No apology. Restaurants get slammed on holidays. Kitchens fall behind. That happens. But ignoring a table for 90 minutes -- especially a family with children -- isn't a busy night. It's bad management. What should have been a fun St. Patrick's Day memory for my daughters turned into a long, uncomfortable evening where we felt completely invisible. For a place that trades so heavily on Irish identity and hospitality, this was about as far from hospitality as you can get. Save your $150 and celebrate St. Patrick's Day somewhere that actually wants you there. And if management would like to explain how a family ends up waiting 90 minutes with no communication, I'd genuinely be interested to hear it.
