Amazing happy hour deals! I saw so many TikToks raving about how good the happy hour deals were at Yard House! Parking was pretty easy! There's a parking lot dedicated to the big shopping plaza that Yard House is located in. They have a 90 minute free parking with validation. My group and I went around 3:30 and there were a lot of people seated and waiting for seats. Although their restaurant is pretty big, the hostess did mention that they only had 3 waiters working so a lot of sections were closed off. We were seated within 10 minutes of waiting. We browsed the happy hour menu and ordered pretty quickly after sitting down. Our food all came out one by one. It was pretty decent for the price. We ordered 3 appetizers and the total came out to be ~$35. Appetizers: Poke Nachos (7.4/10): There's a good amount of tuna fish layered on top of the nachos. I really liked the wonton chips they use for this dish since it's a lot lighter than a regular tortilla chip. There's three different types of sauce that they drizzle on top for the nachos. There's a good amount of sweetness and spice between all the sauces. I just wish there were more fish and avocados. Chicken Tenders and Fries (7/10): This one is just your average chicken tenders with fries. It came with 5 tenders and a small basket of fries. The dipping sauces included ranch and honey mustard. This wasn't the same honey mustard I was used to and it had a sour taste to it. The chicken was crispy and had good seasoning in the batter. The fries weren't that good. It was soggy and didn't have any crisp to it. Chicken Nachos (6/10): This one was a heavy on the stomach dish. Just had a nice lunch here with a friend from out of town. I had the poke salad, and while it was tasty, it's not filling (especially for a $24 price point), so just be aware of that if you're starving like I was lol. It was on the salad menu, but saying the toppings were on a bed of lettuce would be giving the dish too much credit. It was more like a handful of lettuce underneath and that was it. My GF got the ahi salad off the salad menu and hers looked like an actual salad with plentiful lettuce. Only reason for the 4/5 is all of this! This review is for the service. The food was great, as per usual, and I consider Yard House to have one of the best happy hours, especially for food. My friend and I sat at the bar and we had awful service. Our server hardly ever came to check on us and we had to flag her down several times when she walked by when we wanted to order more or get a refill. She wasn't very friendly and almost seemed unhappy to help us. She never returned to close us out to where another person did since we were waiting awhile. He was really nice. The bartender never comes back I had to flag down a different bartender and he says you want just want the frys remade or everything? Of course everything needs to be remade if a hair is embedded in the frys like that who knows what's in the burger?? I had some time to spare and wanted to grab a quick bite before my next event. I dined by myself and got placed at a table. I wasn't sure who my server was and I haven't dined here in over 20 years. The truffle mushroom pizza was amazing, the poke nachos were great and they were also extremely accommodating in cooking the tuna for me since I'm pregnant. We were invited to the Yard House for dinner with the family. This was my first time at the Yard House and loved the decor and setup. There was plenty of parking available because they had a couple of parking garages within blocks of each other on the main. We walked into the Yard House and the restaurant was huge. In the middle of the restaurant was a big, bar that looked like it had over a hundred taps. With that being said, they have a full bar with many variety of YH cocktails and wine. The bar was spacious enough to actually eat at the bar. At night, you could see the restaurant would be perfectly set for a gathering with some pals. I loved all of the TV screens with my favorite sports playing - hockey, golf and baseball. We had a party of six and the booths were huge! There was plenty of elbow room for each person. You can probably fit eight comfortably or even ten people. The lighting throughout the restaurant is dim and can be intimate at night. We definitely want to return for a nice romantic dinner. They had great music playing but we were just happy to be able to watch hockey, golf and baseball from all different angles. You have a great view of the TVs. They're posted above and around the bar so you had a great view no matter where you were sitting in the restaurant. The staff was very pleasant, attentive and friendly when we walked in. There was no wait for as huge as this restaurant was and if so, I'm sure we'd be able to have a drink at the bar while we waited. Our server was Andrew and he was awesome from the time we arrived until the time we left. Super attentive, knowledgeable and had great suggestions. At every table, they had table-side, POS devices so you can order and pay at the table. The devices had their entire menu uploaded in them along with photos. I loved that! He always had a smile, too. We started off with their Hawaiian Mule and a crisp House Belgium Golden beer. Then we ordered the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Calamari. Great portions to pricing ratio. Very communal dining. The Calamari was soft, lightly crispy and succulent. Their marinara and the white dipping sauce, which seemed horseradish based, was delicious. It was hard to not fill up on both! The brussel sprouts had a roasted garlic taste with an Asian glaze. Because I ate most of the appetizers, I ordered a light dinner entree - the Whiskey Glazed Salmon and the Mister had a Carnivore Pizza. My salmon was juicy and cooked just right. It came with Parmesan mashed potatoes and a side of roasted broccoli rabe and carrots. Just perfect! The Mister's pizza had a light crust and was East Coast style - thin but you can fold it and have no problem losing toppings because it's not soggy. The dough was super soft and the crust had that breadstick texture so you won't be cracking any teeth. Presentation was awesome for the Onion Ring Tower. Tower is the perfect word for these o-rings. They literally were stacked high like a giant Fisher Price Rock-a-Stack toddler toy so they were easy to pass around. Everything we ordered always had awesome dipping sauces with it. Man, I really like this place. Their jumbo wings came with celery sticks and a ramekin of ranch which tasted homemade. The Yard House would be perfect for drinks and munchies with the crew and I literally wanted everything on their Appetizer menu. The last time I came to a Yard House was back in Atlanta at the Atlantic Station on my bday.. I thought I was the Ish that day with my little fur coat on drinking so much vampire wine. Yard House's menu is almost as large as Cheesecake Factory's, but much more beer-centric. Beer is their passion. Their beer menu is several pages long, plus they have a full bar. I had a decent strawberry lemonade. This Yard House (it's a chain) is located upstairs in The Paseo, Pasadena's once burgeoning, now almost deserted outdoor mall a little east of Old Town. The restaurant remains busy, unlike the mall. It's a very large space with lots of windows overlooking Colorado Blvd and a huge bar centre-stage. I ordered the poke nachos and fish and chips. Both were generous portions. The nachos were as good as I've had elsewhere, with lots of ahi tuna and avocado. Luckily there weren't a lot of serrano chiles, because I'm not a heat-lover. The fish and chips came with 3 huge pieces of fish (only identified as white fish). The fries were a little limp, but the slaw was good. I liked the malt vinegar aioli more than the jalapeno tartar sauce. Service was slow, they may have been understaffed. I would return to try other things off of their huge menu. read more

Service was great. Taking my senior parents was difficult as it is located either up a large number of stairs, or you need to walk a distance to get to the elevator. I lucked out and found parking right across the street otherwise we may not have made it. My mom ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer and I wouldn't order it again. The flavor was lacking a great deal. The sweet potato fries I upgraded to with my Turkey sandwich was cold. The turkey was good and thick, but my pickles were 2 end pieces, a small slice and a think slice. Luckily I'm not in Pasadena often, if it wasn't a last minute search I could have probably found a nicer local place. read more

Happy hour has the hugest portions I've seen for the price it's really a steal! I really liked the truffle pizza, and the tenders. I got a pina colada and it had a nice kick to it, other places it's very sweet but this had both sweet and strong to it. Our server was a sweetheart! Oh wow, this Chicken Bowl is like a unicorn at Yard House. Packed with flavor and somehow still relatively guilt-free with only 480 calories! Who knew you can get the best of both worlds? The stir-fried sesame brown rice and red quinoa balances the flavor with their fill, while you get a lot of green goodness from mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onions, baby broccoli, and red pepper flakes. The restaurant is busy, so it can take a while to get seated and service, but as far as American chain restaurants, Yardhouse is one of the better ones. read more
