The walkers that came to us were wonderful. They respected our home, rules, and always treated our dogs like they were their own. Aylin was normally assigned to our pups. She would always send us great photos and updates from her 30 minute walks/ playdates with the dogs. She took the time to figure out what worked best for our two. The dogs, or The Cheesies as she called them, were always thrilled to see her. Our dog, Reggie, also went to daycare at their facility for a few weeks, but because of his dog reactivity/ easy overstimulation, we decided that utilizing their walking service would be better for him. I loved that they picked him up from home for us. Their services really helped us out and made us not have to worry about how we would get him to and from the facility. Reggie also received a bath/ blowout at their facility and he came back smelling great.

Unfortunately it was a fatal condition and nothing could be done besides relieving her pain. She lived a long and happy life of 18 years. Despite the outcome, the staff was empathetic and supportive during the process and afterwards. The loss of a pet is never easy, but the way the situation was handled was the best it could have been. I was the only customer in the store, store doors were wide open with the undeniable overwhelming smell of pot. Both employees repeatedly walked away from me while I was simply trying to buy a replacement fish. They kept trying to up-sell & I explained that I only needed the fish and was ready to pay, but I still felt ignored and treated with hostility. While I was on the phone speaking to my mother in another language, one employee made a comment along the lines of, "If you can speak another language, so can I," after speaking under her breath in a very harsh & angry language, to the 2nd employee. The entire interaction made me feel singled out, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, the experience felt disrespectful and discriminatory. I ended up leaving without making a purchase and looked over my shoulder to see the 2nd employee glaring at me through the front door. I went to PetSmart instead, where I was treated kindly and professionally. It's convenient and quick. Prices here seem to be fair. I've bought fish and a bearded dragon, though I wouldn't recommend the beardies here. While the price looks great, ours got cancer and died after 1.5 years. Vet said it was genetic. These days, I mostly get fish and crickets. They also sell birds and have cats to adopt.

By chance, a wrong turn in my hometown led me to rediscover Bihari Kennel, a place where my family had boarded dogs over 45 years ago. From the moment I reached out, the staff was kind, accommodating, and so understanding of Bruno's needs. They responded promptly to my emails while I was away, providing updates and ensuring my peace of mind. They carefully followed all my instructions regarding his medication and even allowed him to bring his own bed, which I know made him more comfortable. When we picked up Bruno after his 18-day stay, he was smiling from ear to ear--energetic, happy, and clearly bonded with the staff.
