I have been there twice before and it was cut SHORT, same as the first time I brought her to you. I was appalled by your attitude of not wanting to give the same short cut. You ignored that and flat out refused to cut my dog's hair. There was NO BATH. They missed her legs, behind and underbelly. I rang the bell because I wanted my dog back right away. Not to irritate you. You refused to give the cut I wanted, that isn't going to hurt her, never has. You should have tried to make it right, instead I made the extra trip there on a Sunday morning so you could fix it, just to have you refuse, claiming your a vet tech. Where's your license? I was upset with you as a business owner not willing to do what I asked. That is horrible customer service and I assure you that going shorter was not ever a problem before. 1/4 inch of hair left is too much. You disrespected me and gave bad service, then told me I was rude. No, I was upset , still am. Your insinuation that I would put my dog in harm's way is inflammatory and unprofessional. You are not a vet tech. You could have done it right but you chose to not give me what I paid for. My dog already needs another cut. I don't pay for someone to mess up the job, then tell me I'm rude and lie about being a vet tech. That's why I disputed the charge, which I told you I was going to do and you walked off waving and saying you didn't care. That's the problem right there. Could have been handled if you were a professional but you're not, so stop claiming to be. Used to be is not believable. Your attitude and service is unacceptable. You had so many other ways to handle the situation without getting personal. Never take your beloved pet there for services. They do what they want, not what you agree upon. One more attack against me will be considered harrassment and I will pursue a lawsuit against you. The truth hurts and you don't care. read more

This place is the real deal. In my opinion, they're one of the best in southern California and I drive from LA to board my dog with them. I HIGHLY recommend using them. Long story short, I rescued my dog Amigo who had some aggression issues and I found them through the old owner of the place Dave Guild (who's an excellent trainer). In the end, we were incredibly lucky and got on the Cesar 911 show to overcome most of our challenges. So needless to say, I'm pretty critical of the people and places I use to care for him now. After going through a bunch of "LA trainers and boarders" who swore they could handle my dog, it seemed like one let down after another. Cut to Shireen and her crew that took over the place. Ever since meeting them, I haven't had ONE single issue or problem there and we've been using them on and off for years now. Again, they are the real deal and these are the people you've been searching for. They're professional, responsive and have the perfect balance between loving care and advanced leadership. They take the time to understand your dog and give them each the best care, so they're set up for success. Which is ultimately what all dog owners should be looking for... Recently boarded my healthy 2 year old black lab here for a few days while away on a trip. the people were nice and friendly, however once i picked up my dog he wasn't acting the same (sad) for a few days after. long story short he had developed a rough cough and a few vet trips after they diagnosed him with KENNEL COUGH. commonly contracted from boarding your dog with others if the place isn't correctly sanitized. do not come here the owner is inept and does not communicate with clients or employees brought my dog in for a bath only to be told 8 hrs later that the groomer never showed up but they were still going to charge me for a full job done by a non groomer employee, but they never did it, the owner then joked that i got free daycare for the day, i work from home i dont need daycare i need my dog bathe, then she told me to bring him back the following week on wednesday, i show up and guess what the owner never told the groomer anything. most unprofessional owner i've ever delt with in any industry or capacity, just know if you bring your dog here they dont care they just want your money the owner isnt even there most of the time and shes also the manager. read more

I couldn't be more happy with how they treated my dog while we were on vacation. Do not leave your beloved dogs hear. Both of my dogs received trama to the eyes/face. There stay was very short only 2 nights. The veterinarian diagnosis is suspected trama. As the vet explained it is similar to black eyes in people. To get one someone has to hit you. Blood in the white part of the eyes is the sign/evidence of trama. As well now one of my dogs is skittish towards men. I left them hear per the amount of good reviews posted. Very sad that my boys have been harmed. They are part of my family so this has deeply damaged the trust I have of kennels/boarding. Next time I will pay for a dog sitter in order to make sure they are treated properly. read more

We were able to tour DogOn Fun when adopting a rescue pup a couple of months ago. Shireen allowed the rescue to use her facility as a mutual meeting spot. She and her daughter were friendly and welcoming. The facility is large and can house a good number of dogs with both indoor and outdoor areas including a nice yard and water play area. I was impressed with the cleanliness throughout the kennels, food prep, and grooming areas! Fast forward...our pup is big enough to accompany his brother and sister, 2 eight-year-old labs, for an overnight visit. The pup still eats 3x per day and the olders are 2x. DogOn Fun was quite busy with the holiday but had sufficient staff to handle their guests. Our older male can be high-strung but when we picked up the trio, they were happy, calm, and well cared for. We drive all the way from Long Beach to get our dog groomed here. We have a maltipoo with some behavioral issues. She's a rescue and was housed here before we adopted her. She trusts the staff. They're very patient but firm with her, which is exactly what she needs. You can tell the staff really cares about the animals. They still want to know what's going on in our dog's life and how she's adjusting to her forever home. I highly recommend DogOn Fun for pet boarding. I recently toured three local kennels looking for a good place for my 9 month old shepherd mix and my 8 year old mini-dachshund (needy). When I visited DogOn Fun I noticed the facility was clean, and the boarding program seemed very structured. Shireen gave the impression that she is highly detail-oriented. My dogs stayed for three days, two nights, and did very well. During the stay I received text messages with photos. When I picked them up they were happy to see me, but not desperate, and at home they are tired but not exhausted as if they had been stressed out.
