Our small dog (20lb) was at dog drop and attacked/bitten by a medium size dog (50-60 lb). They did not contact us right away and we only found out when we went to pick her up. We rushed her to the vet where she had to go under anesthesia for repair of 4 puncture wounds. The staff stated this occurred during "shift change" and no one would tell us what happened. We are disappointed by lack of communication, urgency, and the fact that there is no supervision and our dog has paid the price. Multiple vet visits, wearing a cone for 2 weeks, and PTSD for us and our little girl. I would definitely think twice before sending your dog (child) here.

We're just getting started but the team at Dogdrop is great. Super friendly and always accommodating. We have a rescue maltipoo who is super anxious and antisocial. We receive regular updates and pictures and they let us know exactly what's going on. First time there she pooped herself and they took the liberty of cleaning her. Second time peed herself and they cleaned her again. She finally made a friend during her free week! We're Super excited for her to grow out of her shell.

WE LOVE YOU GUYS! AND ESPECIALLY DAISY!!! Thank you for loving Sushi over the years. Sushi is so particular when it comes to other dogs and day care facilities but this has quickly become his second home thanks to you all. We will miss you and can't wait to see you again. Don't forget us!

So very happy with DogDrop in DTLA. I recently adopted a very nervous little puppy. She's quickly gone from tucked tail and scared to go in...to running to the door with a happy wag, and refusing to walk by on a regular walk without stopping to see if someone will come say hi. They also worked with us to figure out her picky eating habits. Love the frequent texted photos and updates. As well as the puppy activities like being pleasantly surprised when they gave me the Halloween pumpkin she painted. Very convenient and super helpful, absolutely worth it. Thanks DogDrop!

They had a paint sesh!! So cute, it made my day after pick up!!

This review is for the Dogdrop at the Arts District in DTLA! I'm a first time dog owner and just started bringing in my 1 year old pup to Dogdrop. The business has the basics down (and more!) on what you need to feel at ease with bringing a pup in for day care. I love that the staff is friendly and supportive. Their rates are great, given that the pups get to play with other pups under supervision. They even set up activities for them!! The communication is great, and I always feel seen as a dog pawrent too! Thanks so much for the love and attention you give to the neighborhood pups!

This is the best daycare ever. The staff is soo attentive to the dogs and their needs and super communicative about what's happening there each day I drop my dog off. And my dog loves going, too -- whenever I tell her she's going to daycare, she wags her tail and gets really excited to leave they also plan a lot of cute activities for the dogs, like spa nights, agility course days, photo shoots, and even arts and crafts that we get to keep after (my friends love seeing my dogs art hung up on my fridge ). Couldn't recommend this place more, 100/10 stars

Dogdrop is the best place in LA where you can drop off your dog (for me, my child) and not worry AT ALL. I know our girl's always being taken good care of. The staff is so knowledgeable and communicative. They don't judge me when I'm like "is she happy, is she okay" lol. Our girl Marlowe is very energetic but is not super into play with other dogs, but she's starting to really come out of her shell. They're super patient and attentive, and I think she's gotten so much better because of the socialization and stimulation she gets there. I also appreciate their thoroughness with our pup's health. They're consistent about making sure all dogs are up to date on their vaccines which is just the cherry on top. Our girl is always tired when she comes home which is wonderful at the end of a long work day.

    Spring photo shoot!!

Amazing Doggie Daycare in DTLA! My little corgi gets all tired at home after a day playing here and they keep me updated with super cute photos. The staff is super friendly and makes the whole process easy and smooth. I also just like the location because it is an convenient walk for us and if I pickup later in the day there hasn't been any issues finding a parking spot. Compared to all other locations in DTLA it is affordable, works with my schedule, and conveniently located.

Text updates she always looks so attentive and happy!

I've been bringing my dog, Nala here for almost a year. I work from home and for most of that year we lived in a pretty small apartment so daycare was a must for Nala to get good exercise and socialize a bit. Dogdrop has never been the closest daycare (we lived right next to one), but it has ALWAYS been the best daycare! The team at dogdrop sends me great updates, I see her on their Instagram story multiple times a session. It always looks pristine and she's always happy and clean coming home! They also do these amazing themed nights. Spa night is Nala's favorite (she comes home smelling better than when she left and so so relaxed!) These are people that really care about dogs, I've told so many people about it. I've had really negative experiences with daycares in the past but I trust dogdrop with Nala x1000. (Did I mention the curbside pickup and drop off?? )

Our puppy Katsu was a complete scardy dog when we first brought him home. Dog Drop was his very first daycare experience. The staff there had ways been so wonderful, responsive and accommodating. The 1 week free trial of daycare has helped our puppy move from scardy dog to a confident playmate. Now Katsu thrives in social situations! Katsu is excited when he sees the door of dogdrop because he knows he has a fun filled day ahead. We love the staff. We love the activities they plan. We love the (very professional) and photos and updates they provide us. Most importantly our dog loves Dogdrop too. A really cool part that seperates them from other daycares is the hourly rate option too! We like to use that on days we just need to tire our pup out as well. Thank you dog Drop for the good experiences .

I did a lot of research before deciding to try out Dogdrop and I'm so happy with my choice! We started bringing our Frenchie Iroh in as soon as he was fully vaccinated to help get him socialized/help get his puppy energy out of him and Dogdrop has done just that! I'll have to admit that sometimes I drop him off for an hour or 2 during the day even when I'm home just so I can have a more tired puppy when I'm trying to relax at night :) In addition to the great care Iroh has while he's there, the process is super seemless. It is quite literally, a dog drop. We walk in, say "Iroh's here!", and they happily repeat that in their own way to their fellow Droperators and everyone gets excited and they immediately take him back and I'm literally in and out in less than 30 seconds. The pick up can take more time just because Iroh can be a tough one to catch when he's in play mode haha A few more things to note: I love the flexibility of their pricing packages, and they were very competetive with other doggy daycares in the area, and for the most part were cheaper, but the quality of care is the same if not better! They are also open later than other facilities in the area which is AMAZING since I do oftentimes need to drop him off at night when I'm coaching at my gym.

Penelope LOVES Dogdrop! I was super nervous to leave her for her good fit test and her first few days going to daycare, but I have been quickly reassured by a few things: 1) her tail starts wagging before we even get to the door! 2) on only her 3rd visit, the manager greeted her by name because she remembered her, showing the personal love and care everyone at Dogdrop gives the pups! 3) they have been so consistent in sending me updates and photos of Penelope throughout her day. They also respond quickly if you text to check in or ask questions! I believe you have to have a membership to get a more comprehensive "report card" and I do wish there were cameras so I could directly check on my puppy, but after reading reviews for daycares all over LA, I'm so glad we found Dogdrop!

    Yelp hours

Giving this a 3 star bc I've been coming to this place for a while on and off and as much as my dog is not in distress there, they feed him here , and he does seem to be hydrated upon pick up, -1 star because the business is always changing their hours and fees and their website does not match their current info like ever so I am constantly surprised with the sudden changes and it's a major eye roll. When I first joined it was $40 per day/$10 per hour and now it's $60 per day/$12 per hour. They use to be open till 10pm even on the weekends and even tho their google/Apple Maps info says they are open till 9pm, that may or may not be the case. You'll have to call/text to get the hours and rates because they are not consistent on that at all. -1 star (it should really be minus 2 stars bc this is a doggy daycare and this isn't proper care for animals but I've been coming here for years so I'm leaving a star there for the years my animal was properly cared for) because I'm also not really all that happy that they they put the ALL small dogs in a tiny hallway when there aren't that many dogs instead of the second room they have with an attendant where they can roam a lot more freely and not feel so enclosed. The hall way is about 2.5 feet by 8feet btw and there were like 5 dogs there smh. Are we not paying so that the dogs play and relieve their pent up energy? It's totally not fair that the little more chill dogs have to stay in that tiny hallway while the big/hyper dogs get the big room. That is not cool! The second room was always for little/ chill dogs and 1-2 attendants. What on earth happened to this place? I use to love coming here and now not so sure about this place anymore. For being the most expensive daycare in DTLA, I really hope this place can provide much better care in the future. The care standards have dropped and it's very sad to experience. Attached please see a screenshot of all online conflicting info.

I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!
