Wonderful treatment of dogs and they give excellent cleaning and haircuts a real go to spa for doggies!!

Our only regret regarding Doggies Mobile Day Spa is not taking the time to write them a glowing review sooner. A few years ago, we were having a hard time finding a groomer due to the size of our Bernadoodle (at ~110 lbs...it's a lot of fluff to manage!). Doggies Mobile Day Spa leapt at the opportunity and spent (I kid you not) ~4 hours in front of our home grooming, trimming, nail-clipping, tooth-brushing, and pampering our oversized pup (with Rosemarie & Marie working in tandem)! Since their visit, a number of our neighbors have started using Doggies Mobile Day Spa as well (dogs of all shapes, breeds, & sizes...from 5 pound yorkies to our oversized poodle mix and beyond)...all with rave reviews. What we still find even more impressive than the haircut/grooming itself is that (from his first visit to this very day) our fluffy dude comes home even happier than he left. We rarely see him more excited than when the Doggies Mobile Day Spa van pulls up and he sees his old friends open the door for some primping & polishing. Our pup's favorite groomer has a large Cane Corso at home and a real affection for dogs of all sizes, so we always feel especially comfortable that--despite our guy's size--he's in good, capable, & caring hands. Doggies Mobile Day Spa - Large Bernadoodle groomed by Doggie's Mobile Day Spa - Pet Groomers Near Me

I've never justified spending so much on dog grooming but I had family coming in for a wedding so I decided to splurge. It was easily the worst grooming they've ever had. I spent $400 for two dogs: * I came away convinced that neither dogs' faces were washed. * My big girl gets into the cat box. He brought her back and literally a hunk of kitty litter was still hanging from her bottom lip. * Both dogs had a minimum of a half inch of (dirty) hair curling into their mouths on top. It hadn't been trimmed at all. I sent the big girl back in for him to wash the litter off and trim. She still had a lot of hair in her mouth when he returned her. It didn't look like he addressed it. * Both dogs ears were all jaggedy. I trimmed the big dog, then tried to comb through her ears and the comb wouldn't go through due to debris still in her ears. They simply had not been washed. * Tear stains are hard to make go away, but the little dogs face wasn't even a smidgeon cleaner than when he went in. Afterwards, I complained to the mgmt. They argued with me! They refunded my tip and that is all. They should have refunded the entire amount. I told them I had pictures; they expressed no interest and then she said they spent extra time because I had cut some mats out ahead of time. Excuse me, that gives you time not costs you time AND they spent well under 3 hours for two dogs. What? The top it off, they were highly recommended by my neighbor. I even went with Roberto as they suggested. He was very unfriendly. I could NOT get him to smile no matter what and he didn't speak English so when he STILL didn't get things right, I couldn't even get him to understand. read more

AVOID!!!! Keep away from them. After multiple inquiries, they said they can handle cats. My cat goes groomers regularly and is used to grooming. They claimed my cat tried to jump out of the bath and hurt his nails?? I saw no clamps where he could hurt his nails. After 90 minutes I got worried when they didn't reply to my messages so I went to the van to check and found my cat in his carrier - wet and shivering. Found Doggies Mobile Day on such short notice. I was worried I wouldn't be the area they service, they were completely booked but found a way to fit my pups in the next day. I'm very happy with the service, my pups were happy and smelled cleaned. I hope to be on her rotation even though I live in Haymarket. I love the convenience of having someone come out. Great service. Everything was done so smoothly. I called outside the working hours, about an hour early, didn't expect anyone to answer the call. But to my surprise, Justine picked up the phone and answered all my questions gracefully. He was able to squeeze us into the same day schedule. The groomer was on time, very caring and organized. I was so curious to see the inside of the truck. When she opened the door, it was literally like a surgery room, spotless. The groomer did a great job. She is amazing. Great service for last minute appointment. Came to my house and took care of both my senior doggos (who are very temperamental) nails, wash the works. My male boxer/bulldog is extremely sensitive for nail trims and he came through like a champ. Great team!! read more

We have two "senior" dogs who can no longer handle the stress of going to a storefront grooming salon. Yesterday, Rosemarie arrived and did a fantastic grooming on our dogs. She was very professional, but most importantly, our dogs loved her. Grooming had become a traumatic experience, but with Rosemarie and the private spa van the experience was the best we have ever had. Arranging the appointment on the phone was easy. I tried Doggie's Mobile Day Spa for the first time yesterday and loved it! Mary and Rosemary were friendly, reliable and professional. Our chihuahua mix can be a bit grumpy and wary of strangers but their warm, gentle demeanor helped to put him at ease and reassure me that his grooming experience would go smoothly, and it did! They did a terrific job with my pup's grooming and he looked and smelled great after!
