His normal routine is Bark Bark Bark followed by dragging me towards the other dog he wants to meet. What happened today was extraordinary. Jaime was my groomer. As you can see from the photograph it was a first class dog grooming including having his nails dremeled ( a four person job at the vet's office because he often rebels and his size 150lbs) I watched her do it. I don't think Bill flinched. It was incredible,.Also, and the best part, she gave me several tips on how to handled him when he meets other dogs. How to introduce him. When I got home I practiced what Jaime told me. It was one of the most pleasurable days we've had out on a walk thanks to Jaime's tips. From my experience even professionals are intimidated by Bill's size and excitement. Not Jaime, she new how to handle my dog and it was a great experience for the both of us. You really would miss something great by not stopping in and saying Hi to Tom. Preferably buy something too, even if it is just his farm fresh eggs that he has for sale. Tom has operated (and now owns) this mill for a very long time, I believe it has been fourty years or so that he has worked here. Any type of feed or bedding you need, he either has or can get. Feeders, waterers, brooding lights or bulbs for poultry - even baby chicks! I was looking for some specific breeds so I did not get my chicks from Tom, but I did notice that he had a bunch of Silkies which always seems to be in high demand (May '18). Smaller business like Tom's are at risk of being shut down by online sales or by the bigger chain stores around. If he has what you need, why not buy from him and support this local business? On a sidenote.. the mill itself is quite a sight, Disney architects should come take a look to recreate this for Frontierland in Disneyworld. It is old and very photogenic. Check or cash, only.
