My year old crazy puppy went yesterday for the first time. The customer service and the new dog paperwork was super easy to submit online. Dropped him off and the staff was great from the start. I watched a little throughout the day on the live webcams and he was having a blast...playing In the pools, being sprayed down with the hose by the staff. We've used petsmart on long work days (open till 9) and the huge difference is the out door space; day care vs preschool! When picking up I was asking about his behavior and sharing with the man this is his first day here and he thanked me said his first day was on them!!! Absolutely awesome! Left my 7 month old Doberman Pincher here for a week while vacationing. This was her first time going to a "doggie daycare" so I was worried how she would be with many other dogs. Their webcam access was so helpful. I was able to monitor her while at the beach and noticed how constantly friendly the staff was towards her. I will for sure use this for boarding again and just for the doggie daycare. Highly recommend! read more

My dogs were well taken care of, the staff is simply the best anywhere and the facility is well kept. Out of all the dog boarding facilities I have ever used, Dogs Rule Resort is simply the best! It is a place that your dog will want to go to and besides that the owner and staff are very gracious, loving and kind. Our three dogs always have a blast there. The best part is that we have total piece of mind. We never have to worry about leaving our dogs there for any amount of time. I could go on and on about the many great features, dog grooming folks, they even have a teeth cleaning person come in once in awhile who has over 30 years experience, oh and does the cleaning without anesthesia! Bottom line if you are going out of town for a few days, a few weeks or even longer, this is the place to board your dogs! Again, I have never found anything to complain about and that in itself is rare these days. In any case, if you have a dog and are going out of town, moving, or just need a break for a day, give them a try, you won't be sorry that you did! I can't imagine taking our Pugs anywhere else. My wife and I moved to the area over a year ago and naturally we needed to find a new day care for our Pugs. We could not have been any more lucky. The owner, Julia, is absolutely fantastic at running the daycare. She develops personal relationships with her clients that you see every day when picking up your pups. She even brings in her little fur babies to interact with clients! Daycare, Grooming, and Boarding are all done with the love and care you would give your own pups. My dog got injured while under their care. I called to see why my dog wasn't out in the yard playing. I was told after I had inquired, that my dog got bit by another dog and was put in the kennel to separate them. went to pick my dog up there was blood dripping from the three wounds. No one checked my dog before they placed in kennel. I was outraged no one contacted me to even let me know. Vet bill was $250. Owner Ed initially informed me they would pay for vet bill, then told me later dogs rule would not be paying for the bill. Promised the refund would be credited towards account then recanted his offer. read more

I have a 5 month Goldendoodle. He has had a BLAST every time we have used the doggy day care. He runs to the door when we get to the building with his tail wagging. Staff has always been courteous and pick up easy. We are using them for boarding next month. I feel confident he will be in good hands while we are gone for the week. The staff seems to really love the dogs. I used the groomer for the first time on Friday. My dog was terrified but the groomer was great. She called to let me know exactly what was going (with my dog being scared) and she suggested a plan to gradually get him used to the groomer. They have bubble bath Fridays for dogs that are at doggy day care (if you want it). Maybe that will help! read more

I've been bringing our female Border Collie mix to them for almost 2 years now and they are fantastic!! When I rescued Chelsea she was 6 months old and extremely fearful, at first daycare was very stressful for her. But the staff patiently worked with her (at no extra charge) and now she CAN'T WAIT to go play!! While I can't actually speak to how they treated my dog (because I didn't end up using their services) I can speak to my experience with their staff and I was extremely frustrated and annoyed. To book a stay for boarding I had to call three times and fill out an online form to then arrive the the day of our travel and be informed that 1) my reservation had been booked under the wrong day (even though I had an email with the correct date) and 2) that they required vaccinations more frequently than is required by the vet to ensure the dog's health (admirable, but if you are going to require this you must inform people prior to the day of their drop-off!). So after getting an attitude from the girl at the front desk I decided to take my business elsewhere. I got a bad vibe from the staff and there are too many options nearby. read more

I took my dogs there for a 4 day weekend and they both came back from this place with Kennel Cough. My friend also took their dog there as well and it also got kennel cough a week later. This is a place I wouldn't recommend to anyone ever again. If you want a sick dog and about $70 in medicine for your dog over the next 2 weeks, don't take them. read more

We boarded our dog here over a weekend. He ended up with kennel cough and within 24 hours it progressed to pneumonia- we had to admit our dog to the emergency hospital for 2 days. When the manager was made aware she was not sympathetic and stated "they had no record of any kennel cough cases". But or close friends took their two dogs there the week before and they both ended up with kennel cough as well. After seeing more reviews it appears that management has recently changed and it doesn't appear to be for the best. I understand that kennel cough can happen anywhere but they obviously have issues they need to take care of. My dog will never go back and I will make sure to tell others not to take their pets there either. read more

My dog was not very social with other dogs and thought that doggy daycare would be a great way for him to socialize. This daycare has cameras so you can watch your dog while you are at work or home. It is amazing how much our dog has transformed over the few months. The staff is always playing with the dogs and keeping them busy. When our dog comes home, he goes straight to bed. I boarded my dog for 10 days, and he came home so relaxed. Usually when I board my dog he comes home constipated, because he doesn't feel comfortable going to the bathroom at the kennel, but when I picked him up he barely even had to go potty. I got him home and he was so tired from having fun he went straight to bed. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Brought my fur babies here last weekend when we were in town for my daughters wedding. First time they were ever boarded and it really helped that we could watch them on camera! For some people their dogs are their kids. We are those people. 2 large 4 year old dogs that deserve nothing but best. You can find them here at Dogs Rule Resort when we are out of town! (Most of the time, more on that in a second) the all day play and day camp cameras are great. Who doesn't want to stalk their pup all day? Anyone? Ok, maybe just me. They accommodate items that you bring for your pups (within reason) and truly care about the animals. We do have them bathed before coming home because I know with all the play time they wouldn't smell like flowers. My only minor complaint is their Sunday hours. Our Sunday flights always get back after they close so the pups have to stay an extra night. Although I'm sure the dogs don't mind, I'd like to be able to pick them up after 1:30pm. We have had to take them to another boarding facility due to this just one time. read more

Friends, do not board your dog at Dogs Rule in Keller. It cost me 252.30 to board my dog for 5 nights. I was charged for a bath my dog did not get. My complaint is the condition of Jax when he was picked up, his paws were severely urine stained, his hair was matted, the hair around his face was stiff, he had black stuff all over his bottom, there were leaves matted in his tail, he lost almost a pound, his stools were full of blood, and he smelled horrible. After discussing my concerns with the manager for over an hour, I was told my money would be refunded to my bank account, and the next time I boarded Jax they would give him a complimentary bath. I will not be taking him there. I am furious about his neglect and my poor dog went there clean and happy but did not come back like that. They refunded the money for the bath he didn't get and I had requested they also pay for me to take him and have him groomed, they did, but they did not refund any more of my money. I spoke with the manager again about this and Jax'es neglect and was told he would talk with the owner concerning the money and he understood my concerns, my money has not been refunded, but the biggest issue is the neglect of my sweet Jax while he was boarded there.. DO NOT USE DOGS RULE IN KELLER!!!! read more

Just picked up my 4 dogs from a week long stay at Dogs Rule Resort in Keller. I cannot say enough positive about our experience. The owner was kind and obviously a dog lover...not just someone trying to find a way to make a buck. The facility is pristine and comfortable. My dogs played outside and inside in large runs every day with no upcharge. It is so apparent that they were well cared for and everyone at Dogs Rule got to know the individual personalities of my dogs. Will definitely return and be spreading the word that if you are looking for a place who truly cares about dogs and wants their home away from home to be positive then this is the place! read more

We used to LOVE this place and took our dog for doggy daycare each Friday and boarded her when we went out of town. We noticed a turnover in staff late 2017. We boarded our dog there over Christmas 2017 And our dog will NEVER go back. I noticed by watching the cameras how much time she spent in the crate. I also noticed how many "overflow" crates there were. I feel like they had so many animals boarding, they did not have the staff to take care of them. Several things happened to our dog while in their care but the most frustrating was that no one told me anything when i picked her up. I had to call the keller location, leave a message, call 2 more times, then an email and no response back. I called to leave a message for the owner and when she returned from out of town, she did call and leave me a message, however, the information she left for me was quite the opposite of what the manager at the carrollton location told me. I ended up having to call Carrollton because the lady at the Keller location said the owner is there most of the time. The manger of the Carrollton location did not seem to care much at all but did tell me, several times, that the Keller location had many new staff members (which I knew) and it was a "training" issue and how holidays are their busiest time. When the owner called back to leave me a message, she said everyone in Keller had been with them for many years. I was done at that point and never called her back. She never called me back either. I would look elsewhere for daycare or boarding your dog. I do not feel comfortable with our dog in their care at all. read more
